Great value for your dollar - tasty food, prompt service, clean and comfortable. Have eaten here many times, never been disappointed. There are other items on the menu besides seafood - burgers and chicken and if you are gluten free they will pan fry your seafood.

Great fish and chips. We had a combination plate with haddock, shrimp, scallops and onion rings. Huge plate. Tasty, light batter. Way too many chips...hate to waste food but couldnt come close to finishing these. Two minor complaints - ordered fountain drinks which were $3....next time I'd just get water. And there was some radio station playing just loud enough to be annoying. Some ambient music might have been nice but whatever station it was played shrill noise. Maybe best bet would be takeout.

Nice clean restaurant with friendly staff. The fish and chips tasted great and I could not believe the portion sizes. By chance we were here on a Wednesday when they have a special on the haddock and fries. So we had a 6 ounce piece of haddock with tartar sauce, coleslaw and a huge plate of proper fries for $9.95. Unbelievable.

First time at this restaurant was today.........should have gone sooner. Very clean, simple decor, friendly service and great food. Spouse had fish (halibut) and chips which he says is the best in town and I had a hand made fresh cheese burger which was excellent. They fully peel their potatoes which makes us happy with the chips..........will certainly be back!

I've been passing by this restaurant for a few years, now. When I dined here recently for the first time I was taken aback by how well designed the interiors were. The food served here measures up to the same caliber. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner, after my meal. This is a really cool restaurant more people should know about!

Decided to try this fish & chip spot! Was very disappointed. The cost was very high for 2 pieces of fish with chips. There was more batter than fish, and was very greasy. The fries were dry and hard to eat. I usually don't order coleslaw but this was actually quite good. Still doesn't compare with the fish and chip spots in Brockville!

Sadly i have to give this 1 star ! i love their food, and the nice people here.. but ... I gave this a good review a while back, but having gone here many times, the place is ALWAYS CLOSED. Its seems they make their own schedule up on when it opens and closes on the fly. It is frustrating when you plan dinner here with a family member only to find out its closed last minute. This is the 5th and final time for us (over $300 lost). We started going to Capt Georges fish and chips as its open and has a set schedule we can rely on.

Just tried this for the 1st time today on the 1 year Anniversary. All I can say is I wish I had known about them sooner. 100% the best place to get fish and chips. Portions are great and can't complain about prices especially today with the special.

4th time I've received soggy fish and chips. Tonight I ordered a side order of gravy and it was wrapped with a rubber band to keep it closed. They secured it so well it bent and exploded in the bag. Totally uneatable. Better fish and chips restaurant to the south and west. AVOID!

Just a question: Where are the deep fryers with exhaust fans to get rid of the smell of fish & heat? Fryers appear to be just like one would use in your home kitchen. We never went back. Two years have past since our visit. I wonder if they have had proper fryers installed?

First time here and honestly can say it was some of the best fish and chips and shrimps and scallops I’ve ever had. The heat in the restaurant could be turned up a little but who cares about that the food and service was great. I’m hoping this is the usual food and not just a one time thing. The haddock was excellent - large pieces and they were deep fried crisply . The chips were excellent as well. However we WILL be back.

I finally got the chance to try this place today. I went in for lunch, and got take out since the dinning room is closed. Ordering halibut, chips and a Ceasar salad. The fish and chips were good, but they gave me nothing to eat it with. There was no utensils, napkins in the bag. Neither was the stuff I asked for like ketchup. The salad was so over saturated with dressing I couldn't eat it. And the croutons were soggy. Very disappointed, will not return. I wish they had a contact information for the owner to reach out directly

My husband and I order take out last weekend. $43 for one piece of fish and chips each... not worth $43. The fish was soggy, and bland - not at all what you would expect from a Fish and Chips Restuarant. Would not recommend.

This was our first visit here and I guarantee well be back!! Hubby and I live about 2 1/2 hr away and come to Belleville every now n then. I also have a doctor there. Love the decor, the seating and tables arewell set up. We both had the daily special of 1 pc Haddock & chips for $9.95. It is without a doubt, the BEST fish I've ever had at a fish n chips place! Food was good and hot, fish battered light and crispy, no oilyness to it whatsoever! The fries were also good n hot and nicely well done! Creamy coleslaw is my fave so I loved it! The ONLY negative was the service. Our server was a charming lady but she was all by herself in this big place! Over lunch rush! Drinks and food were brought very quickly but then she never came back. I wanted a pop refill but ended up drinking some of hubbys water. And we would have waited forever for the bill so I went up to the cash and paid. HIRE MORE SERVERS FOR LUNCH RUSH!! The kitchen staff were helping her clear tables. Awesome food!

We always enjoyed the Fish and Chips from here, but tonight we got a takeout order the fish was all batter there was no 2 ounces of fish under the batter and onion rings were full of grease very very disappointing. I am sure we will think twice before we go again $30.00 down the drain... Sorry to report!!!
