The last time I went here, I asked for the Thursday special. 3 peices for $4.99 or something, the girl at the till was very impatient. She didn't look like she wanted to be there, she had another girl helping her, and everytime she tried to show her how to do it she rolled her eyes and kept on sighing as if she didn't want to learn how to deal with customers. She had hickies on her neck, and so did the assistant Manager. Don't know if it was related or not, I won't be coming back, so disquisting! They need to higher more professional people of train them better IMO

Sign said due to current situations wait times may be longer. When we got there in drive through 1 lady ahead of us and nobody was inside. Waited 15 minutes just to order. Had to repeat our order of a 3 piece meal 3 times. This isn’t the first time the service is horrible. Wait times are so long. If this wasn’t for my mom I would not have stayed and waited for it. The only thing good here is the biscuits. Maybe start by improving your customer service.

The food is really good and the wait isn’t long, but every single time we go they end up forgetting something or giving us less than we ordered. they aren’t super busy so really disappointed. (ex. ordered 2 large fries got one small) we usually need to go back. When we went in and told them they gave us our order and an extra Apple pie, so great customer service.

It was quite slow this time. I was the only one at the counter but the drive-thru was steady. Other than slow service 15-20 min's), staff was helpful & courteous! If only temperatures on the customer side of the restaurant wasn't at least 25°C! The chicken size used to be significantly larger (turkey-sized) than any other chain's just a brief few years, but as KFC's pigeon-sized pieces slowly returned to normal chicken-sized, Popeyes' has shrunk to chicken-sized!

Nice tender moist chicken that's not greasy is a nice change. I thought there would be more heat. Louisiana Cajun spicy seems to be pretty subtle and I'm not a super spicy eater. They do miss things when you order though... like your side dishes.

The service was polite, the food was good, it could have been hotter. The wait time in the drive through was completely unacceptable. More than 24 minutes waiting and it wasn't busy, 14 minutes alone parked at the front door waiting for food. Wendy's drive through 6 minutes last visit. Most likely won't return.

I love Popeyes Louisiana chicken. I live spicy food and when you order Cajun, you know it. There is a wide range of delicious sides to choose from and even have a great selection for the kiddos. I'm just not one happy customer. After everything was done and said. Went through drive through and paid for a 5pce chicken tender. The lady told me to park in front. After about 5 min the Guy ahead me got his order after 10 min of waitin, I went inside. They didn't even have my order ready. Asked for a 5piece chicken tender and mac salad and a pop. After waiting another 10 min to get it ready, I left. I get in my car and I have 4 piece chicken. I didnt even get to eat cause I had to go back to work. It took us a while to give Popeye's a go as we're on the opposite end of town and the hour long lineups when they opened kept us away with 3 small children. Well we've been missing out all this time. Chicken is outstanding. Spicy, crispy, hardly a drop of grease and with the family meal on for $30, we're getting 10 X better food for only a few more bucks than the other chain in town that goes by 3 letters for a name. We are Popeyes converts and its awesome that despite being open for a while now the quality is still sky high! Keep it up!

I woke up one day craving some crispy chicken. Consequently, I went on google and looked up what establishments near me could provide me with this product. Upon revision of my options I decided (regrettably) to go to my local Popeyes. I arrived at the location was immediately greeted by a lot of brownies. "Don't know what's up with that." They also say the chicken is "halal" Like what on Gods green earth is that Shakira law? Truthfully suggesting and hopefully near future this God forsaken Popeyes will perish. #Chickfillafolife

The food is always hot and fresh! Best chicken around. Chicken pieces are large and fries are excellent. Also like the idea of mashed potatoes as a side. The staff is always courteous and helpful. I must say however that their drive thru sucks. I have waited as long as 10 minutes at the speaker before my order is taken, and 10 more minutes in line, and then told I would have to wait because they do not have white meat ready. Wait another 15 min. I don't use their drive thru anymore. Faster to go inside. 1 person in drive thru on a Friday supper is insufficient! If you are going to order all white meat, be prepared to wait! Suggest that they take a good look at their bin levels and staffing levels to avoid such problems. If the speed of service wasn't so bad, I would have given it 5 stars.

Pulled into drive thru around 9pm, left drive thru at 9:27pm. Not because of a line. I was the only one there. Because she took my order, in between talking with the other workers. They didn’t have the side I wanted, not a huge deal, I ordered fries instead. Asked for an extra biscuit. Pulled up to the window, paid for my order, and was THEN told it would be a 14min wait for chicken. Ok… would have been nice to know prior to paying but I’ll wait. I waited. I waited 14 minutes, still no meal. I waited until 9:27 for my meal. A 3pc platter with fries and Mac n cheese, and an extra biscuit. I received no fries. I got a side of gravy and Mac n cheese. I got no extra biscuit. And I am frankly beyond annoyed with the service provided this evening by your employees.

This was my first time here. I ordered the chicken sandwich with Cajun fries combo. Apparently they have no fountain drinks so they charge you an extra dollar more for a bottle drink that's smaller than what you'd normally get. The bag the food came in was almost see-through due to the grease content. I've been to Popeye's in other cities and none of them were even close to that greasy. It's like they took the fries straight from the fryer and put them into your bag without shaking of the excess grease. Sub-par experience from one of my fave brands.

Went here over an hour before closing, they wouldn't cook tenders, popcorn chicken, or anything for that matter for a friend that can only eat boneless chicken. Explained our situation and was told they were not going to cook. Would only serve what they already had sitting. (Lord knows how long its been there, then it sitting for the hour longer). Would hope to see a little more professionalism displayed if I ever do return.

Bought a family meal and many extras on the grand opening day. we were short a large piece of chicken out of the meal and were feeding a lot of people so it mattered. We called in and they said next visit we would get a free piece of chicken. OK great. So next visit this last weekend we presented the bill and asked for the free piece of chicken as well as were also going to use the 2 for 1 chicken sandwich and side coupon we got in the mail. They did not honor the coupon and said it was for the grand opening day only. We didn't want to argue more and just ended up sharing one chicken sandwich since we were there already to see what it was like. Well It was dry bread, not what we expected/not very good. plus took forever to get the order. The piece of chicken was the smallest wing piece they could possibly give us when the meal before we were shorted was a large piece. Very upset with there customer relations, also cheeping out and dealing with problems. Upset they didn't honor there coupon that expired the 30th of November. Wont be going back ever. There is a reason why KFC has been around so long.

When this location first opened it was fantastic! I fell in love. But, sad to say its gone downhill since. Often out of spicy chicken, fries portions are half what they used to be, and some days chicken tastes like it sat all day under the heat lamp...its not fresh by any means. This is an all-to-common pattern of new restaurant in PA.

Good food, expensive for the portion size. The interior and parking lot are very poorly designed. One choke point for the entrance, exit and drive through making it conjested. The entrance leads into the centre of the building rather than off to the side making it clustered with people between the counter, tables and door.

After enjoying popeyes for several months after opening, the service quality has decreased dramatically. In the fall we placed a large order in which we had several items missing, and later found long black hairs in our chicken. We contacted customer service who relayed our info to the local managers with promise of vouchers to replace missing items and apologies for the hair. 5 month and multiple emails later, we still have not received any vouchers or have heard from local management.

I went here today for the first time and will be the last! John is an absolute icon! They didn’t have spicy, and were out of fries. Which are literally the only things I like from this place. I'm obsessed with the flavour and crispiness of their batter. The cajun chicken sandwich is fantastic, the spicy chicken strips are my favourite (not too spicy, imo) and the popcorn shrimp are delicious. The fries have great seasoning and the rice and beans are pretty good but I have to add some kick to them otherwise they're too bland. I would have ranked Popeye's a 5☆ but they are very inconsistent in how they serve platter sides to go. Also if the chicken strips have been sitting for too long they are difficult to bite through even though they're still tasty.

The cook must have been hungover.. he TRIPLED SALTED the NUGGETS... unchewable.. i threw it out after 2 bites and got food else where. I was devasted. Spent 40 minutes in drive thru today only to get to the window and be told that it will be an additional 8 minutes for my chicken order... what did I order? A 3-piece chicken combo and a butterfly shrimp combo! UNBELIEVABLE! So total time to get 2 combos, 52 minutes... idling (because I was traveling with kids and pet). At least offer an exit strategy from the drive thru if people decide they are done waiting. Popeyes for dinner? No thanks!

So this evening My son and I were going to order for the second time from this place between 748-7:59 pm, at the cash window I was about to pay and realized only one of my orders was there and when I asked for the other the young woman at the cash informed me I only ordered one order. I actually ordered two but to be fair I can accept a misunderstanding or miss communication via the drive through com however to get attitude and refusal of the second order with a HUNGREY KID in the car I said no thank you and drove away. This is unfortunate because we really enjoy the food and our first trip there. based on this we and many others will not be returning and with employees like that it is an easy pass, miss communications miss understandings I can accept without any complaints but to get attitude like it was my fault and refusal of the other order.... no thanks

Food is always good. Customer service is really bad though. Sat at the drive through window for 10minutes before it even opened. Dinning inside, the staff are clearly seen standing up front texting on their phones for more than a few seconds; Even when customers are at the counter. The kids are young, but managment should be monitoring better.

Went through Skip The Dishes app last night and ordered supper for our family and a couple visiting. Was a great day so we were eating by the pool, no one wanted to cook. Order came and many of the sides and fries were missing from the order. Seeing that the kids eat basically the sides (mac and cheese) it was less than ideal. We call the restaurant 7 times and all we got was a message saying their mailbox was not set up. So I eventually ended up going in and cooking supper anyway. Not going to order from a restaurant that has no number that I can follow up on...or that cant get an order right which is literally written out for them. My guess is that the delivery guy probably forgot a bag of food, but with no one to call, no quick fix was available.

Was told they needed 15 min to cook more chicken and they asked us to pull ahead. After waiting patiently for 45 min, finally went in to see what was up with our food. They were running around like crazy and basically ignored my wife. When she finally got someone's attention, they brushed her off, turned to each other and spoke something other than English. When she demanded our food or a refund, they very rudely told her she already got her food, they give it to her in the red car. We were driving a white car! After she once again demanded our food or a refund, they finally gave us our food! Needless to say, we won't be going to Popeye's ever again.

My expectations were a little high for this place, the first thing I tried was the deep fried shrimp and was disapointed, too much breading, but I usually get deep fried shrimp from Captain Georges and it is pretty hard to top thier shrimp. I did recently discover they have a good chicken sandwich, similar to the Mary Browns chicken sandwitch from the '80s

Well we went threw the drive thru. First time eating here. We had to go out front and wait for our food. But first we had to navigate around the front parking lot of Panera breat to get back to the front of the store. Then after a fair wait we get our food. We live 15 mins north of Belleville. I'm not well right now. Have health issues. I cant cook as I have no strength to stand up. Get home and we have no fries and no biscuits. They wont answer the phone. I'm so upset and disappointed. As soon as Iam able to Iam going into that store and have them compensate me. Errors are human but I'm in no shape deal with this. Especially after having to wait. Oh...not another person in the drive thru at the time and 2 customers in the store. What was this staff doing? See you soon folks.

Super disappointed to have to leave this review. Tried contacting Popeyes but nothing was ever done. Forgotten items when ordering a meal is one thing but finding a long hair cooked into the chicken is another.....Accidents happen everywhere but not doing anything about a nad experience does not reflect well on a business. Sad to say I will likely never return because of the way this was handled. (Happened in November, contacted them immediately and nothing has happened since).

Sub-par food and HORRIBLE customer service! Went in and ordered some nuggets and tenders shortly after 1:00pm. We waited over half an hour while they served the cars in the drive thru. I then went up to the counter to tell them that if our order wasn't ready for us to leave with right now that we needed a refund (we had an hour long drive and needed to be home when the kids get back from school) The cashier turned her back to me and started putting together the guy who came in and ordered after us' food. My hubby then came up to the till where I was and told them that we wanted a refund because we had to go and they turned their backs to us and VERY SLOWLY started putting our order together (it took almost 10 more minutes for them to put our ALREADY COOKED food into the boxes and hand it over the counter to us. The only one that made ANY effort to apologize for the wait was the guy that looked like a new guy (he was cleaning the tables when we came in) Because our food took so long, and we were riding a motorcycle, we didn't have time to eat until we got home, only to find that the nuggets were undercooked (one actually looked raw inside) We've never had an issue at any other Popeyes in the past, but this particular location I would avoid at all cost.

2nd time and last time we have went to this restaurant since it has been open. This visit was over a week ago, but I"m just writing this review now because it still burns me........Here's my experience....Specials could not be redeemed without a coupon? Had to go online on my phone with a line up behind me, to redeem a coupon. Then, could not use another coupon (Only one coupon per visit). After giving up cause I felt bad for the people waiting behind me, I proceeded to order and pay for the chicken. Our order came to $87 and I gave the attendant a $100 bill and it was rejected because they don't accept $100 bills?.. The order was almost $100?... Brown Bills matter.. $100 bills are still legal tender in Canada last time I checked?.... and with a hologram, I don't think there are too many counter fit operations printing them?.. but if you are, don't try to cash em in to Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen.. at least not the one on Bell blvd. Left a one star cause the only thing good about the visit was the chicken was still ok... If you want to try really good chicken, bring your $100 bills to Golden Chicken in Trenton. Better prices, Better chicken, and better staff

Popped into Popeye's for some fried chicken. This Popeye's restaurant was ok with its service and food. The rice beans were too watery and I would have preferred the rice to have been more drained of water. The spicy chicken tasted as I expected it to be. The worst food ever. I look my mom out for dinner. We went there tried to order several times. The 1st cashier just got up and left went for her break and didn't take our orders. The other cashier girl decided to answer the phone instead and take a personal call sounded like she was talking to her boyfriend and put everyone in line to wait 5- 10mins untill she was done chit chatting. I they they were Millenials sorry but come one guys.. these 2 girls should be canned as their service sucks. We placed an order after calling to ask if they deliver and being told that they do. After placing the order, we were told it would be about 40-45 minutes. At the 1h15min mark, I tried calling the restaurant to find out what was going on. I called repeatedly and the phone was never picked up - it just kept on ringing. I literally called 11 times with no answer. At the 1h30min mark, the delivery driver called me because they couldn't find my house - turns out the restauraunt sent them to the wrong street altogether, on the complete opposite side of town. Despite me spelling out my address for them on the phone. Waited over an 1h45 mins for food that was ok at best. It also turns out that the restaurant does NOT have delivery like they said- they deliver through a third party. We went there upon opening excited for the new Popeyes. We were greatly disappointed when Our experience through the drive thru was horrendous. We ordered a bucket of chicken, fries and 2 sprites. We ordered each of them about 5 times. The most common answer was "huh?" , "what?" Asking for the sprites was almost comical. Two sprites please. Sir do you want apple pie?. No, two medium Sprites. Two fries? I already got those. Two sprites, soda pops. What kind of pop? Sprite! Ok sir move on. Still no sprite. Thought it was just the machine. Heard the place still gets those problems. Back to KFC i go.

This place was just horrible. The line up took forever to move. When we finally got our meal, the chicken was bordering on raw, it was dripping in oil, and the chicken skin was solid fat. Yukkkk! We threw it out and went to Burger King for whoppers instead. I'll NEVER go back.

I'm sorry to say my poutine was cold. I was so excited when I got it. I mean it's Popeyes. But it was cold. Not my husband's chicken burger was very good. I hope it was a bad day and I hope it's not normally like that. I will try another Popeyes some day. Clean store. Great employees. Reasonable prices. They don't know about Gluten free (I asked). Another time I'll go check them out.

Stopped in here while waiting for my vehicle to be serviced up the street and was so happy I did. Have never visited a Popeyes before but loved the ultimate chicken sandwich! Price was good and taste was great for fast food.

Everyone working was so incredibly nice, despite it being so busy and, I'm sure, really hot with all the fryers! Food was delicious, went later at night so it wasn't crazy busy and waited around 15 minutes in total. Great job, you guys! Thank you for the service! :)

Tried it for the first and likely last time. Very disappointed in taste, quality and thoroughness of cooking. Some food like onion rings were not fully cooked and soggy. Chicken was poor quality and except for one piece was not well enough cooked. Menu was confusing, lack of seating and other issues. We ordered different items to try the signature dishes and the best we can agree on is 1 star. Staff were pleasant and even after the normal supper rush there was a long lineup with it being new to the area. Based on our experience that should change in time.

the manager that was on duty was very rude... i went in and asked for a platter of tenders and he gave me regular chicken.. I then noticed when i got home that it was not what i ordered.... i called and said it was the wrong one. he said to come in and i did go into the store and he then proceeded to tell me i was wrong and i said the wrong order... "it is your fault, you asked for a number 3 not a 3 pc tender" and i DID NOT! disrespectful and sick of the attitude that came from him.... CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT EVEN IF I DID SAY IT WRONG... BUT I DID NOT!!!!

I found myself craving Popeyes today and said "wife! Let's get popeyes! It cant be any worse than last time." Boy did they sure prove me wrong. The soda, to start, was extra watered down today compared to just the usual watered down soda they offer. The fries were cold and wet. Not greasy, wet, and I did not take them far at all. Chicken was hit and miss, some were breaded awesome and hot, others were cold, greasy and missing most breading. Needless to say, I enjoyed eating my words while the wife made fun of me being wrong yet again.

Amazing food! Super crispy chicken! I bought nuggets too and couldn't even recognize them because of how authentic it looked - nothing like your KFC or McDonalds chicken nuggets. Move over KFC, there's a new King in Belleville!

Good food but the quality of service has fallen since it opened. Wasnt happy with last visit but the past visits were good. They forgot an item once before I didn't make a big deal about. Twice is too much though, personally. Unfortunately if they forget an item it can be a hassle to get what you paid for actually given back. Especially if they dont bother to hand you receipts at the drive though! At least the food was still delicious. 2 stars though before this last visit probably 5 stars with the caveat of long lines.

I ordered 20 wings on drive through, the girl taking order on drive through should have some patience and doesn’t need to unnecessarily rush. I go to Tim Hortons and they don’t even rush for taking order as this location does and that’s not the first time. Please train your staff to be courteous and have patience while taking ordered on drive through. Thanks, Farrukh

They did not know what they were doing and they had absolutely no organization. I placed my order and waited 20 minutes for it meanwhile 7 people who ordered after me received their food. The majority of the people had ordered the same thing as me but after I ordered. Had to speak to someone just to get my order filled.

What chaos !! The drive thru was over 20 minute wait and inside the restaurant was 5-10 minute wait a constant chatter of we're out of this/that and the staff look totally confused..... And when you finally get your food it's warm at best.....

Well I got the spicy chicken and it had nothing but a bun, chicken and 3 pickles!!! Like where is the lettuce, tomatoes, onions and other toppings???? Probably never eating there again, I got a stomach ache after eating it.
