It seems like a good PetSmart, very new and clean. However, the primary issue, at least for me, is that the fish area has an uncomfortable noise. I understand the fish tanks emit noise, but this one physically hurt and caused a headache by its pitch and tone. I think it is something that could be fixed if the store bothered to fix it. I’m wondering if the mechanical components of the fish tanks (filter, water circulator, etc.) are the source of the issue. Sometimes the noise made me wonder if something was grating in the mechanical components. I struggle to think the store will bother with fixing it; the employees seemed very much just doing the bare minimum of their jobs, there was a dog pee puddle that they just walked over, cashiers were grumpy about us bothering them to cash out, we had to walk on the curb to get past a groomer employee having a smoke break to enter the store. It was a bizarre experience, mostly because of how I have an excellent experience at other PetSmart stores.

This review is for the grooming salon. I had an appointment for my 2 doggies yesterday, express as one of my doggies does not do well in a kennel (broke his tooth once trying to chew his way out on the metal door). When I got there, turns out they didn't plan on having it express due to a system issue and I was going to have to do the back and forth for each dog. Maddie was amazing, she profusely apologized and gave me extra services for both dogs for free. They took such amazing care of my babies, when I got there to pick up my first pup, the groomer was coddling him like a baby! I also saw the other groomer comforting another dog. I'm happy with both haircuts for mine and I'm glad I have this place near me!! Thank you Maddie!!

I brought my dog for Bath and Brush with FURminator, she was released in least than 1 hour, all wet, and shedding a lot more than before the service, I paid for it but I think they just did a regular bath, no brushing no furminator, I called to complaint and also I emailed but no answer. Very disappointed with this service. Finally we got in contact with this store and they agree to refund the money and book another appointment, this time it went very well. I think the person who made the previous appointment wrote the wrong service.

Petsmart's is always clean and tidy inside my dogs always are so excited to go there. I have bought a hamster from them, he is still alive and healthy. The guy who helped me was amazing he put up with us when we took our time making up our minds. I bought my hamster a new cage but we had to return it because it was small for him, it said it was for all hamster but it isn't! It is only for dwarf hamster, so they should put that "It is *NOT* for Syrian Hamsters!" on the box. Then we got another cage and it was perfect he loves it so much he is always at the top of the cage!

The food we get for our dog is always being discontinued, and stock is always low. The grooming salon always puts you on hold and then forgets about you, hangs up after 10 minutes. Can't book online because Petsmart website account recovery is broken.

The move my appointment twice, give wrong information and then when you dont want to book because you cant push your Dog appointment any further, they “BAN” you and say your dog is no longer welcome. This is a small but fully stocked store with pet food and supplies, as well as a selection of fish. I'm mainly posting to recommend the grooming services for dogs as the ladies who work there do an excellent job and are very good with my two huskies - they are knowledgeable as to what needs to be done. I usually get the PAWdicure Plus. I have brought them in there a few times for grooming, including paw trims, nail grinding, teeth brushing and ear cleaning. It is best to call ahead as it can get very busy on any given day, however, I have also had some success getting an appointment as a walk-in.

Although I don't write reviews often, I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I walked into PetSmart with a multitude of questions regarding fish tanks, as I had recently purchased one and was struggling with a bacteria bloom and our beta fish was not eating. I approached a lady named Helena who listened to all of my concerns and took her time with me to address each issue. Not only is my fish tank the clearest I have ever seen it, our beta fish is finally eating! My daughter and I could not be any happier. Thank you so much!

Great location, not a great experience. Waited in one lane, then that cashier (Yvel) asked my husband and I to go to an opening one beside. At that same moment 2 customers beat us to that lane so we decided to stay in the initial lane. Once we proceeded as the next customer in line, she said rudely " oh I'm leaving thats why I told you to go to the next one over". I'm sorry but I've never heard a cashier respond to customers this way regarding closing their lane. How about " Sorry this is the last customer then im closing". Ordered online with this store listed as my store. Banner on the website said "25% discount on regular priced treats and toys with the purchase of dry food. Code PLAY25". At checkout, it wouldn't take the code. Cancelled the treats. Ordered at 1:08pm April 27. "Same day delivery" tells me I will receive my order between 2pm and 6pm April 28. On my calendar, Tuesday and Wednesday are NOT the same day.

I feel unfortunate for the fishes here. It’s gone from good to bad to worst since they opened this relatively new branch. On multiple visits we found a lot of dead fish in the showroom, some of them even looked super decayed that I can’t imagine how long it’s been sitting there inside the tank. As well, the tanks are not kept clean as some of them are way way too green — big chunks of algae. I really do hope they turn around in their ways.

This store is often not stocked and doesn’t have as many things as other locations. The biggest issue is the betta fish. There’s way too many for the store to handle and I often find rotting bettas at the back of the shelf which have clearly been decomposing for days. Stop ordering more bettas than you can handle and start teaching employees to do water changes and treat sick fish. This is abuse and if the betta is so decomposed it just shows that no one has even taken care of any of them for weeks or days. Other locations don’t have so many cups with them piled onto a shelf and I haven’t seen rotting ones. I always leave the dead ones on a desk or else they would be there forever. I’ve shown one fish which was sick to an employee and she took him to the back but I don’t know if he ever got treated. EDIT: There’s some ignorant person complaining about not being sold fish that need a 29 gallon tank. That employee is completely right. People like him are the ones that don't care what an animal need and just want the cheapest option.

I usually visit to buy aquarium items from here. They've got a good variety of fishes, fish food, accessories and other related items. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. They always advise on what to buy and what is recommended for a given fish tank capacity. The bricks and mortar store experience is great, however their online store is not so good. I keep on receiving promos & offers via email for their online store but since fishes are not sold online, I cannot utilize those promos. All in all, it's a good experience being there & I would definitely recommend this place.

The reason for the 4 stars is because there is always new stock left in the aisles, at times making it difficult to get the shopping cart around and blocking access to items on the shelves.

Went there today in hopes to purchase an aquarium. I ask for assistance for me to find the right tank and stand. I waited for 30 minutes for help which never came. I did see an employee that was free, but he told me that he is busy cleaning. Most employees there lack customer service skills, where they choose to clean rather than assist customer that wants to make a big purchase.

I've been shopping at this place ever since it opened. The store is clean and well stocked, the staff is friendly and helpful. But I have to highlight the grooming service because it is outstanding. We've been going to a small business for years and when our groomer retired I decided to give Pet Smart a try. I was a little apprehensive, given that some people advised me to stay away from big box stores. But now I know that I have nothing to worry about. They are very professional, knowledgeable and thoughtful, and always do a great job with my woodle. Luna doesn't seem to mind it too much, even though she's not crazy about the doggie bath. Thank you Christine L. for taking such good care of Luna! We will definitely keep coming back.

Hayley from petsmart four corners is a really great groomer, extremely nice and shows she cares about her job and her clients. Our dog isnt the easiest to groom and we have had a previous groomer at the location say he was difficult and complained and made us not want to go back but when we seen how happy hayley was to take him we knew it wouldn't be like before. I will make sure to have her each time we bring our yorkie.

I was always told not to go to the “big box” pet stores for grooming, but to a smaller boutique groomer. Despite that, I tried out this Pet Smart as it was close to my home. I am thoroughly impressed with the service at this location!!! Even when they booked incorrectly the first time, the way they handled it was above and beyond!! The grooming service itself is phenomenal - the staff is caring, knowledgeable, and highly skilled at what they do. Christine groomed our little Winnie, and she did such a great job!! Winnie even came back with a Pawgress Report card:) We will definitely be coming back here again and again!! Thank you!!

Store manager needs training in customer service and being courtesy to customer. Goldfish in the tank are different then labelled which i brought to notice to associate and later to Manager who failed to understand and put the blame on vendor as is supplied. why should customer pay excess amount for store mistakes. Shouldn't be store manager duty to make sure fish are labelled correctly instead of arguing and trying to sell at higher cost.

Went into buy some fish today because they finally opened up and I had my tank waiting for a fish before covid so I was getting pretty anxious I went to the one on airport and Queen where they were happy to help me purchase a fish if The one I wanted was there So anyways I continued onto Georgetown’s pet smart and bought myself a Raphael catfish and gold fish ps. Making everybody take a cart is a pretty good way a spreading germs thanks for being rude and not following petsmart guidelines like everyone else j ur dog training is closed your store is open now not j for essentials that’s why y’all opened

I took my pup to get groomed once by Heather at this location and had a really bad experience. When I returned to pick up my puppy, the person at the front desk of the grooming station wouldnt return my dog stating that it is petsmart policy that I have to go wait in line and pay first. Ive been going to petsmart for the past year and was always returned my dog before having to go wait in line so i knew it wasnt the policy but i still complied. As I went to go wait in line to pay, I could see that another person had come to pick up their dog from grooming and were able to take their dog right away before paying. I thought it was strange. Finally i was returned my dog. It wasnt until i finally got home I noticed that the groomers had shaved my dog pretty badly and I had to take him to the vets for antibacterial cream so it wouldnt be infected. It seems like the groomers were worried I would complain about them cutting my dog in multiple places which is why they made up rules so I would pay before i could see how they hurt my dog. Tried to speak to the manager about this and she did admit that there are no such policys. If you continue going to this petsmart, avoid Heather! She is terrible

Fyi despite what the receipt and website says, you cannot return your items due to the lockdown. They also did not give any kind of confirmation that they will accept your return after the lockdown. Be 100% sure before you buy products from here.

The store is great but I’m very disappointed in the grooming service. I took my puppy there for a ‘deluxe’ bath and brush which would include ear cleaning. My puppies previous owners did not care for him so he requires a lot of TLC. I’m new with puppies myself and trusted that Petsmart would be able fo clean him properly. To my surprise I see that my puppies ears have not even been touched…. What a disappointment. Not to mention it seemed like they only had him for 10 minutes with a deluxe service. Will go back for pet needs but I’ll take his personal care services somewhere else.

Just heard from my wife about the horrible experience she had at petsmart with Sonia, the blue buffalo rep. She embarassed my wife in front of my parents and other shoppers by rudely saying she didn’t appreciate my wife interfering. What business is it of a rep about whether customers choose a certain brand of dog food? Just because my wife looks Asian and my parents of Lebanese desent that you assume there is no relationship there. What gives this rep any right to interfere with what final choice the customer decides to purchase? Sonia was continuously stalking my parents to ensure they purchased the Blue buffalo brand. She was selling this brand so hard. When the time came that they chose a different brand, she assumed my wife had changed their mind when it wasn’t the case. My wife was just putting the blue buffalo brand away and Sonia just assumed there was “interference”. She asked my wife if she worked for a dog food company which my wife said no. She then grabbed everything, said she didn’t appreciate my wife interfering and stormed off. Why is it any of her business about where someone works? Why is my wife assumed to be blamed for when my parents didn’t choose Blue Buffao? On top of that, the brand my wife suggested was not the brand my parents ended up getting. So really, what difference did it make to Sonia? They were never interested in purchasing such an expensive brand but they felt intimidated because she’s a rep and used such tactics to hard sell blue buffalo. Also, the manager on site was not the real manager and covered for Sonia to say she is on break and unable to come to the store front. There is no promise of follow up or even to take my wife’s phone number. This shows carelessness, unprofessionalism, and horrible customer service. You will be sure to get a follow up from this family as we were unhappy with everything that ensued today.

Website and phone assistance was great but the thing that really got me was the person who brought my order out. Super rude older lady , from my previous experiences since covid started they usually come to your window to confirm the order or name so I left my trunk closed until the person came out , as I saw them with my order and out my window Dow she asked me if I was Nicholas Williams and I responded yes. Then in a really rude way ask “ ok well are you going to open your trunk or come out and get your order” really not pleasant and not what I was expecting at all... will probably use steelies and Kennedy location from now on tbh.... 0 on customer service from me personally

Extremely horrible curbside pick up. Called 6 times while waiting in the frigid 30 cm snow and minus 10 degrees. 40 minutes of continuous calling, someone picked up and put me on hold. She never came back to the phone. Will never order from here again. Avoid at all cost! Their curb side pick up takes one hour. Also when I got home, my dog’s clothes that I ordered were missing from the box. Management clearly doesn’t train the employees properly !

So rude!!!! Went by there with my new puppy to ask for some help with a collar and general advice and the woman at the door was so miserable and sharply asked if I had a pickup and I said "no but I was looking for some help" and she so rudely said "there's no one here to help you with that" and proceeded to walk away to a car to drop off an order. I understand its curbside pickup I wasn't asking to go into the store but maybe to have a staff member come out and bring some options to the door. I will be driving the distance to go to Ren's for my pet needs they were fabulous when I went to pick up stuff before puppy's arrival. Shame on you petsmart!

Had our Westie’s haircut here yesterday. Such a horrible job. So uneven and she has a large bald spot on her chest. Have had her groomed at a different location many times with no issues. Will never come back to this location again. Definitely was not worth the $90 it cost.
