There aren't deals in the grocery section. Great place for cheap fashion and home goods but the food selection is very poor and the regular priced items will outweigh any deal on frozen burgers you might get. The staff is wonderful.

A great place to go for discounted shopping. Whether you're on a budget or looking for a deal, you can't deny that Giant Tiger has some of the best prices. The great thing about it is that unlike most discount or "dollar stores", Giant Tiger actually carries recognizable name brands in food and household items a lower prices. Our Brandon location even has a decent produce section now! Service here has always been fast and friendly, and I've never once encountered a long line-up due to the fact that they are always adequately staffed to handle customer load. My only complaint would be that sometimes the store can appear a bit unorganized and messy, and the isles packed together too tightly which makes for a claustrophobic and somewhat ironically discounted shopping experience.

I like this store! Its larger than one might suspect and the inventory changes with the seasons so stock up. The grocery section is handy. You can get some incredible deals on clothing. Bedroom slippers when winter comes? Picnic and garden faves for summer? Their buyers at corporate know what sells. Friendly staff always. A good supplier for drinking water refills, containers which I appreciate as well. This GT is particularly- a great one. I recommend 110%.

Since the pandemic started employees have been rude to individuals who require a second person to accompany them for whatever reason, whether that be personal reason or health reasons. They claim store policy but can't be bothered to post it on the wall as you enter or tell the staff wiping down the hand sanitizing machines to remind everyone of said policy. I'm definitely never coming back to this place unless my life depended on it.

They’re like a mini Walmart. Been going here for many years and they have a good variety of products. I wouldn’t buy fresh food here, as it isn’t fresh and probably expired. I bought corn on the cob a couple weeks ago here and every single one was rotten. Just go to a proper grocery store. The staff is pretty helpful and friendly. Although I do wish they’d get self checkouts because I feel slight judgement from the cashiers when I check out. And they should have cheaper prices for the quality of their products.

In store pickup option isn’t very convenient. I waited where the signs says to for 15 mins, staff looked at me and avoided eye contact. I then went over to three who were standing together, and asked to be assisted and I got attitude as if I’m inconveniencing them.

Been going here for years. Pretty decent for the items I go in for, mostly sales on food items. On occasion found the odd other thing in here I need. Love to go through the movies as sometimes I find an older title I don't already have that I want for cheap. The clothing is also cheap. Just the quality can be hit or miss. Really pay close attention to it. Most of the employees are quite friendly and helpful but I've come across the odd one who isn't in a mood to even answer a question. Overall pretty good. I would like to see them start to carry more lactose free items though.

Awful, will NEVER shop there again. Cashier said my Aunt could buy 6 cans of beans but I could not because we drove there together in the same car. We spent over a $100.00 there each. But guess what? Went to the Giant Tiger by Walmart and the cashier there had no problem with my Aunt and I buying 6 cans of beans each and she knew we were together. Some people don't belong in customer service employment.
