We always went to this place to grab a bite to eat. Whenever we were in town. The food is amazing however due to COVID-19 they are only open on Wednesday's now. They are Super Friendly, very knowledgable of their town, there's even a portable washroom for traveller's who've been driving for awhile and who are hungry can use.

Such a great spot! Family-owned, all homemade food. The food is so good and portion sizes are excellent. And the staff are so friendly and considerate. They double check your order with you and make sure you get everything you asked for. The atmosphere is so inviting and warm. Will recommend every time!

It was a pleasure chatting with the lady making my fish n chip as much as it was finding this spot. The fish n chips plate is a must have, the texture of the batter and fish was perfection (and I'm normally fussy about my fish n chips). Compliment with vinegar or malt, salt and pepper and in house tartar sauce. No lemons here.

Great fish and chips with very friendly owners, our whole family loved it. We tried the Cod fish and chips, hot dogs, burger, onion rings, fries with gravy, etc. Everything was great. My daughter especially liked the onion rings.

Little gem in its category. Food is home made and is surprisingly good. Ice cream is a welcome departure from the regular fare. Owners are charming, with warm reminding of their native Greece. Just try talk with them, ask for a Greek coffee :)

Wonderful people! My son and I stopped by on a whim on a bike ride and caught them right after they were closing up, but they asked us what we wanted (ice cream!) and said sure thing come on over. Then we discovered they're cash only, and we only had a card, but these lovely people gave us ice cream anyway. Way to make a little boy's night! You have our customer loyalty forever now and we'll surely be back time and time again for all your delicious menu items. Thank you for a smile and a good feeling for the evening. We live just down the road from this “mom and pop” chip truck and it’s our go to last minute dinner spot! They have unique menu items for a chip truck, highly recommend the Gyro or Souvlaki. Great place to stop on your way home from the beach!

This is a very quaint eatery that will catch your eye as you drive by... Lots of knick knacks they have decorated the place with... It's very interesting to look around.. Anna takes your orders and she's friendly... You must try their fish and chips & burgers (tax included in the prices) portions are generous. I was very much disappointed with the service they provided. They made a mistake with our order and over charged an entire order of fish and chips, after arguing with us for over 5 minute that it was our mistake, and requiring us to prove it multiple times. I came realize this once we had left the city from our cottage trip. It was simple math. I have never been treated this way, needing to prove what I had order and paid for HORRIBLE SERVICE. It really ruined my appetite and the entire experience as we were very excited to go and have dinner with friend there! The fish and chips wasn't bad but the experience really effect everything!

Food is great. Milkshakes are awesome. For years, our family has stopped in on our way home and we are never disappointed! Super friendly, family owned business. They did a really nice upgrade to the outside & it looks great! The most amazing thing happened to my husband when he was on his motorcycle and he stopped in to get a hot dog and forgot it’s cash only but the woman who runs the food truck told him he could have the hotdog and just stop in another time to pay her! Such awesome service! We highly recommend this food truck!

It's a kitschy little rundown roadside "restaurant", with the regular roadside fare (awesome greasy homecut fries, hamburgers and Hotdogs, ice cream etc). We stop here every time we pass through. They used to have an old double-decker bus as a landmark, but sadly it's gone now. The owners, a nice couple, are super friendly. You can eat outdoors on a mishmash of salvaged restaurant furniture and enjoy the summer.

If you're looking for a place to have a happy tummy, stop by here. Fish was crispy but moist inside and well seasoned and pairs with their classic, creamy but light sauce perfectly. The pulled pork sandwich is a must try, have it with their onion rings, delicioso!????

Amazing fish and chips. very good potatoes use for the fries and the fries were perfectly cooked well blanched and crispy with a nice soft inside. fish was haddock. It was also very well prepared. Hand battered and cooked to perfection very soft and moist super tasty ???? came with a little side of coleslaw and tartar sauce both definitely made in house and really good as well. Definitely going to stop here every time I come through the area. I would have taken a picture but I ate it right away. It looked so good. Wish I had more already.

The idea of the place and the unique setting was very enticing. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was good, the batter was quite good. Taste wise I would give it a 4/5. It was unfortunate that the situation just left us frustrated and saddened. There was a confusion with our order and a member of your group addressed the issue when one of us didn’t receive our meal. It is ironic that there was talk of a seamless ordering process and 'simple' math when this simply was not the case, orders were initially penciled on a piece of paper leaving room for confusion with larger orders (which is what happened). The issue was that a portion of our group ordered together and had asked for 8 pieces of fish in total (with extras) and were given 7 pieces instead. After deliberating and confirming with a penciled in order we were wrongfully convinced and ended up buying another order of fish and chips. We thought the issue was resolved, thinking we had gotten what we paid for, so we didn't bother checking our printed receipt till afterwards (which we had to ask for and which was printed at the end of our meal). The printed receipt shows that we were charged for 8 pieces (refer to the picture) instead of their claim of 7. Being charged for an extra order worth $12 was not that big of a deal, considering the entire group ordered more than $120 worth of food. The issue was with the whole process which was just belittling up to the response to a google review, which insinuated that we were trying to get a "free" plate. They even asked us to show them the orders, so we got up and lined the orders on the table, insinuating that we may have hidden an order. Where could we have hidden an extra order of fish and chips, in our pockets, or up our shirts? We were 7 people with 11 pieces of fish ordered among us, we had ordered more than enough, there was no need to ‘squeeze’ another order out of them. They could not even discover their mistake (neither could we at the time of purchase) and accused us of not only being wrong but of trying to steal another piece. What started off as a pleasant experience ended up quite tainted. Our claim is not only real and true, it is disheartening. We were mistreated and that is not how things should be.

This local place has been massively upgraded from fetid eye sore to busy and charming. Unfortunately, they pull the scam of only taking cash with no signage indicating this and you're forced to use their atm which is $2.25 a pop, plus my bank charges another $1.50. I can understand a 25cent charge for debit for a small owner operated business, but gouging customers blindly for that amount knowing their bank will pile on is dishonest and arrogant considering the food was meh, overpriced for quality and they got my order wrong.
