TERRIBLE! I normally do my shopping here, but I’ve been increasingly more frustrated by the incompetences of management. Tonight was the last straw for me. With one cashier for 12 items or less and one for all other shoppers the lineup for both was ridiculously long. When I arrived, the line was long and someone I know was standing at the back end of the line. 30 mins after doing my shopping, my friend was still in-line. She was in the 12 items or less isle, and the other line had grown well into the frozen food section. If this was a first time offence, I would have figured something happened and overlooked the situation. This however, is the norm and increasingly so. This is terribly poor customer care and shows that FreshCo Belleville is more concerned about their bottom-line than their customers. Other offences include choosing to stock full isles worth during peak hours, causing stock to become fully blocked by boxes, product and staff stocking shelves. The already narrow isles become a nightmare to navigate through and it’s difficult to find or select the products you’re looking for. I have never written a complaint review before now and typically give the benefit of the doubt. I tried calling the store 3 times and nobody answered my calls and I was not even greeted by a machine or given opportunity to leave a message. Terrible! I left my full cart of groceries after wasting my time in this store and walked out! Your staff deserves better and your customers deserve better! You don’t deserve my hard earned money any longer. I hope this review helps you to take a good inward look at your operation and make changes. Despite all of this nonsense, many of the staff that work there are quite pleasant. I have in the past enjoyed the positive demeanour of the man who engages with everyone around him. If you’ve shopped here more than once, chances are you know exactly whom I am referring to. Give him a raise and correct these poor business practices!! Thanks.
