We are new to the area and this is our new favourite spot. From the moment we walked through the door we were impressed. A woman (who we later learned has a sweet dog named Emma, that we got to meet) greeted us. We have a 2-year-old and she brought him some strawberries to hold him over until his meal arrived. She also saw him get upset at one point and brought something over to distract him. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Food was fabulous and presented very nicely. Menu had lots of options. Nice atmosphere. We can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast menu.

Nice place, staff seem friendly. We had a LG. Group to eat there on father's day so it was a bit of a limited menu for us. Which I wish I was informed of that when I reserved our seats. Some of our party were not overly impressed with the menu choices. Not a great variety as we couldn't change any of the foods. Some of the eggs ordered were not cooked properly. Other than that...We had a great breakfast together, and I would like to try going there again in the future and be able to order off there reg. menu because it looked great on line.

I give them a 3 with the potential to be a 4. Service and food was a touch slow. Beet salad was ok, but I felt like I make a similar version at home with Costco ingredients. Mussels were clean and fresh, no broken shells, no closed mussels. The white wine and cream broth was slightly curdled, probably as a result of the cream being too cold when added to wine broth. They have a cute patio where tomatoes were growing, and I saw the server go pluck the chives straight from the herb garden for another customer's potato, which is awesome. After seeing that, I expected that there would be some fresh herbs in the mussels. No dice. A little bit of herbs would have really elevated the dish. Fries were tasty, I like the coarse sea salt on them.

Excellent food and variety of options. I got the pasta which was lovely and very much enjoyable. Parking in front of the place and very easy to find. I would go back for the food. Waitress was very helpful at informing us about foods that we had to avoid due to dietary restrictions. Very quiet and calm place as well, we were able to have a very relaxed dinner. Would recommend if you are coming to visit.

The food was excellent. Price a little high. The reason for the 3 star rating is because our waitress wasn't very attentive, not engaged to her customer, (there were only about 10 customers in the whole restaurant), and the food was slow coming out. There was no one there when we ordered. For the price you expect a finer dining experience which we didn't see, even a simple thing like a candle on each table was missing. Over all good food.

Had Birdy's for the first time today. I drove 20 mins to pick up the order, and realized when I got home one of the orders was wrong. When I called to explain the issue, the staff at Birdy's was kind enough to remake my order and deliver it to my home. Great customer service and great food, I will definitely be ordering from this establishment again.

For a fine dining restaurant, I would say it’s just fine. Servers should work on their customer service skills. Ordered a prime rib and asked the server to get the dish with fries and a side salad, but she tried to force me to get the vegetables that usually come with the dish. I really don’t see the problem to switch the vegetables for a salad. This salad was served with a spoiled dressing, but the server tried to convince me that I’m wrong. I would say beware not to get food poisoning. Prime rib was asked to be well done, but was undercooked and under seasoned; it Was served on top of fries soaked in au jus sauce. Who does that to fries! Fries as well as tempura shrimp were cooked in a really old oil. The rest of the food was ok-ish, definitely not a fine dining level and overpriced for the quality.

Food was meh and the waitress was not knowledgeable at all. Asked her some specifics on the charcuterie board and all she could tell us was one was a type of Brie. The 'special' dessert was dreadful. It seemed like a like if the meat was braised ahead of time and refired quickly. This creates gelatinous fat that isn't rendered properly. For what we paid for dinner here the food didn't fit the price. Luckily my wife was good company.

I have been here for breakfast twice. Both times for an early business meeting. The first experience I had was pretty good. Good wait staff and fair pricing. However, my second experience left me with mixed feelings. The over-easy eggs I had ordered arrived and seemed very undercooked. The salad was very basic and bland. The restaurant was not overly clean. The one thing that made the visit great were the breakfast sausages. They were delicious. I am not a sausage fan but these were surprisingly tasty. All-in-all, not a bad place but certainly not "fine dining".

Disappointed in Birdy's last night. reservation for 7 pm and when we arrived there was no place to sit other than a table in the middle of the room. Very unorganized. Waited 20 minutes before being approached for a drink and then was requested to order dinner at same time as the drinks. Ordered salad and the dinner. meal arrived but no salad. Salad was delivered after meal delivery. Was asked if we still wanted it and we decided to box it and take it home. Food average at best. While the waitress was very personable, she was not very efficient. would not go back at this time.

The food was excellent! I had the chicken meal with mushrooms and the sauce was amazing! Overall the experience was good, but some of the furniture could use some work. The back of my booth felt like it was going to snap off if I put any weight on it. The staff was nice enough as well.

She was a delight with the other patrons as well - and it was clear this is a job she enjoys. The food was also very delicious, the eggs benny are a solid recommendation and even the simple Birdy's breakfast was seasoned expertly. The coffee even exceeded my expectations! In small town Belleville, waitresses need to play ‘the game’ better. I was with a group in the back room and went to the bar instead of the waitress. According to the faces of the bartender and the waitresses they weren’t pleased with this. Try to keep a better poker face to keep loyal customers who want to come back. In response to the Business response.... while I would like to think and believe this was the case, it was more of a frustrated, and annoyed look than an awkward look. Thanks for the reply and happy selling.

We moved to Belleville last fall and found bird's right away. I love pancakes and found that theirs were the best I had ever had. We were there yesterday and as usual ordered pancakes. I was very disappointed because the pancakes didn't seem to be cooked enough. My wife ordered eggs Benedict and the English muffins were soggy. Hopefully this was a one off we'll try again some time because we really like the vibe in your restaurant

Quite enjoyed eating here, the atmosphere is casual, and almost cozy. There is a decent view of a back yard with trees in the far back, and the dining area is comfortably lit, and layed out. I had their prime rib done medium rare, with mashed potatoes (they did them rough mashed and seasoned with the skin on so they had a nice texture to compliment the meat) and seasonal vegetables. My girlfriend and her friend both tried the burgers here and I managed to get a few bites of that. We all enjoyed the food thoroughly and will eat here again.

Great food and service!!! Natasha served us and she was an absolute pleasure! We had so many dietary restrictions between the 4 of us but we were all accommodated perfectly. The brie cheese appetizer was SOOOOOOO good! I had the seafood pasta. At first glance I wanted more seafood! Only 3 shrimp and one scallop and several mussels but the scallop and shrimp were pretty big. The pasta was just enough.

We were there on Sunday this week for a birthday party. The restaurant was not too busy and we had the entire large room to ourselves. The waitress was sweet. When asked if we could have more than was on the menu, more of a dinner, she went to the chef and he added steak and chicken to the choices. It was excellent. The food came out hot and well played. 2 of the guests needed to have their meat cut up in the kitchen and that was done without complaint. After dinner we were able to have some entertainment by one of guests. Never did we feel rushed. We were there for at least 3 hrs and never did we feel rushed. We will definitely go back. Already planning another family get together for the fall/Christmas season. Bravo Birdys!!

Not a ton on the dinner menu that I thought I might enjoy but the Chicken was fantastic. It was very well cooked and mashed potatoes incredible. Larger group so took a bit of time to bring out meals but they arrived pretty much together. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals. Absolutely will be back and enjoying this Chicken dish again...but this time I will require bread to soak up any left over sauce! We were recommended Birdys by the hotel we were staying at. First, the food was just ok. It took an hour to get our food. We wanted to add 3 shrimp ($8) to our charcuterie platter but because it “wasn’t on a salad “ those 3 shrimp would cost $11. What was the extra $3 for? The plate!? Service was slow, prices are too high for the mediocre food. Even getting the bill was slow. Won’t be back.

The restaurant is unsanitary. I got served several dishes with food and lipstick stains. The waitress brushed off my remark and said that it was ' put into the dishwasher' and she forgot to inspect it! Her inability to regard the serious of the sanitation issue within the restaurant (DURING A WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC) does not make the situation acceptable when serving customers UNSANITARY CUTLERY. Overall, the service and food is sub par but for the price you are paying it is not worth it! On top of the issue of sanitary regulation, I personally do not think this restaurant should be serving during these uncertain times.

It may look slightly run down from the outside, but it's modern, clean and updated on the inside. Pleasantly surprised. The staff are top notch and will go out of their way for you. Good food, I recommend this place. Even during these Covid times, they have a ton of space out back and are doing a great job maintaining safety and keeping it in the forefront. Keep in mind if it's raining then you will have to sit indoors.

Eaten here a couple times. It’s alright. Service is fine. Restaurant looks nice. Location is fine. Good parking. The reason I am leaving 3 stars is because I have never left disappointed or feeling like the food was terrible. However, I have never felt like the food was amazing either. It has a very home cooked feel to it. At least the times I went and what I ordered. Which is fine! Nothing wrong with that. However I feel like they charge a higher price for fine/casual dining and I have often felt leaving this place that I overpaid for the quality of food I received. There is times I have left restaurants with a high bill feeling “that was so worth it”. I have never felt that leaving this place. But like I said, I have never left feeling terrible either. The food is above average in my opinion.

A hidden gem in Belleville. Covid and vaccine protocols are being respected and followed. The food here is always tasty, and the cocktails are well made. The menu has the right amount of items with a good variety of options.

The food is really good. The space is very large and can seat many people both inside and out. My only small complaint is the server never smiled. Ever. She looked bored and not happy to be there. She was very competent and everything, but she certainly did not give us a warm welcome.

Our first visit and while the rating is high for the delicious lunch offerings and attentive and pleasant service, likely to be our one and only simply because I feel the menu is overpriced. Our final bill came in about one-third higher than we would pay elsewhere for soup and salads or other satisfying lunches, even though our orders were unique and tasty. Kudos to ownership and staff for what appears to be a well managed operation that seems to be quite popular, which does contradict my opinion on value. My recommendation is for prospective patrons to visit at least once for the quality restaurant experience and to decide for themselves on value.

Lovely, quaint diner, went for lunch so it was quiet and slow. Food is a little on the pricey side but worth the price. I ordered a rib eye steak sandwich that was cooked to perfection, the au jus was an excellent complement and the french fries were pleasantly crispy. My fiance got a salad with beets and was well pleased. The art on the walls is not just eye catching and lovely but also for sale, it is always nice to see local establishments supporting artists. My only gripe is that I don't live closer, because I am anticipating my next visit!

The food is always delicious but unfortunately we had a very poor experience that may cause us to never go back. A friend of mine bit into his burger and found a piece of glass in it, which ended up cutting his mouth and causing bleeding. After telling our server they replaced his burger and took the burger off of our bill, and explained that they did not know where the glass would have come from. After speaking to a friend that works in a kitchen at another local restaurant, he explained that their protocol would be to replace the meals of everyone at the table, which I agree with, since the source of the glass was unknown. He also said they should have thrown out all exposed food in the kitchen and washed all dishes, which I’m sure they did not do. I don’t think management dealt with the issue as seriously as they should have. This is a health and safety issue that makes us weary to go back.

In my opinion the best word to describe this place is adequate. My experience here wasn't bad, but nothing stood out as great. The location is convenient, with lots of space and seating, and the place generally looks nice and modern (except for those table cloths, absolute abominations). Ambience was okay by the fireplace, nice and cozy. Our waitress was alright, she didn't seem very knowledgeable about the dishes, and didn't really seem like she wanted to be there, but she was friendly enough. I'm a little disappointed though because she never brought us a craft beer menu (it was our first time here and we didn't know they served local craft beers, and we didn't even realize until we were walking out and I saw a menu on a different table). Would have loved to try some different beers, so that was a bummer. I appreciate that a lot of the food/drinks/ingredients here are locally sourced and understand that makes everything a little more expensive to produce, but the prices were a little too high for what we got. Menu was pretty limited. I paid $20 for a burger with just cheese and bacon on it, and some fries on the side. My burger was tasteless, and my boyfriend said his dish was pretty tasteless too. We did order some flaming saganaki though which was awesome, but also a little on the expensive side at $14. Overall this place has a lot of potential to be great, but they need to step it up in the food department and make sure the servers know their stuff.

The 2018 summer seafood salad is a real treat, especially when paired with the suggested Cabernet Sauvignon, which is smooth and mellow ~ a perfect summer wine and a perfect summer special! The chef de cuisine has a nice, light touch with flavourings. (I always ask for the salad dressing on the side, because kitchen staff tend to cater to most other customers who want so much dressing that the delicate flavours of the summer greens are overwhelmed.) Birdy's makes no extra charge for Gluten Free items, which I really appreciate. The ambiance is relaxed and relaxing: No noisy sports on TV! The rotating display of paintings by local artists is well-placed and a good choice to accompany a pleasant meal with friends.

Dined here with my girlfriends on Saturday night and was left with mixed feelings about this restaurant we were excited to try. Walked in to a completely empty restaurant with the hostess/waitress sitting at the bar, she came up and abruptly asked if we had a reservation, we said no but there would be 4-5 of us so she seated us at a random table with enough room to seat 8 people? Would like to mention that the restaurant did not become anywhere near busy even by the time we left. I tried to make small talk about the weather and she never responded. Luckily another waitress took care of us. I found that the wine menu did not have a lot of 'by the glass' options which was disappointing. Our plates were just okay, definitely not worth the amount that they charge for their plates...and we weren't offered dessert. Maybe just an off night.

Erin served us the most delicious lunch today! Tasty Prime rib on a bun, fresh beet salad with chicken, delicious hummus with apple chutney, and an excellent chicken club sandwich. We were all very very hungry from being on the road and this restaurant almost satisfied us! I say almost since the guys wanted more fries with their sandwiches!! Their fries were smaller in portion size (it was a lunch) but were so so good they needed more. The chicken was moist, flavourful and beautifully seasoned, and the salad was a perfect lunch portion. We have no photos but know that everything was fresh and appealing. I appreciate fresh, real food and local beer and Birdy’s delivered. Erin shines in her waitstaff role and made our little visit off the highway on the way to the County delightful. She was bright, knowledgeable and very efficient!

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Our server was excellent. Our appetizers of bruschetta and duck wings were tasty and our mains of seafood linguini and vegan wild mushroom risotto were excellent. Lastly we finished our meal off with a piece of carrot cake and creme brûlée. The carrot cake was moist and delicious while the creme brûlée was good. We will definitely be returning to Birdy’s.

Ive been to birdys quite a few times this year and I have always had the ribeye. In my opinion it was the best steak in belleville. Now that has been replaced with the NY strip loin which is a lower grade of meat and no where near as good. It was tougher and didn't have no where near the flavor as the ribeye. I placed a two instead of a one because my first experience was good at Birdy's restaurant. My second experience was definitely disheartening and unacceptable customer service. I specifically took my family member to this restaurant for brunch. We got our coffee and tea right away but waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food that never came. We ordered pancakes and eggs. 5 other groups of tables got served before us. After 1 hour our waitress came over to acknowledge and inquire why our food hasn't rang up for her to bring it to our table. Shortly after a lady came over who I believe was either the owner or manager to Apologize that our food order was never placed and that the waitress forgot to hit the send button. Maybe this was due to low staffing and as a fellow person that works with the public I undated when you are short staffed and how stressful that can be. This was a mistakes and mistakes happen. We understood tha, but the apology should have came from the waitress and not the manager/owner. It felt disingenuous on the waitresses part she knew it was my family members birthday because I told her privately and still chose to not come over to apologizefor her mistake. We left after this and this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for this restaurant. I will add that myself and my family member were the only black people in the restaurant. This made us feel singled out and like our money, time and service wasn't good enough to this establishment. I am a nurse and my family is a daycare teacher. This was her first time out since the pandemic to a restaurant and that was our experience. Please do better in the future.

We had a great overall experience at Birdy's. From the start, we called the night before to make a reservation. They were very accommodating for our party of 10, when most other places were not taking any reservations and only accept first come first served (pandemic protocol). This was helpful as our families travelled from surrounding cities and met in Belleville for a gathering. Birdy's set up tents outside for a large number of guests; however on the day of our reservation, given the heat/extreme temperatures and for a better experience indoors, the host suggested we move inside. The tables were nicely spaced. The menu were also top notch and provided everyone with great selection. Food quality was amazing. Finally, service was excellent. Our waiter was Erin - she was friendly, attentive and very kind. Great work, Erin! Thanks Birdy's - keep up the great work!

We had made reservations for valentine's day dinner and arrived a few minutes before our reservation time. We were seated and the waitress said she would be back with the specials menu. We waited 15 minutes and no one came back. We weren't even brought water. Around the same time there was an couple seated and were brought water and their drink order was taken. A few minutes later another couple was seated and the same thing had happened. We were seated in the middle table in the room in front of the fireplace and were walked by numerous times and not even acknowledged. After being ignored for 30 minutes, we left. We will not be back, nor recommend to anyone. We have returned to Birdy's to give it another try. The owner reached out to us and apologized and offered us free meal but we wanted to go back and make sure we would get service as anyone else would. We went this past week and the service was great and the food was prompt and it was a great meal. We will be back.

We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast at Birdy's this morning with a couple of friends. We all had variations of the Eggs Benedict...two of the florentine with spinach and two of the Victoria with smoked salmon. I can't remember the last time I had in house made hollandaise sauce. Bravo to the kitchen, as it makes such a difference to eggs Benedict. The service was excellent...prompt and friendly. We are looking forward to trying lunch and dinner at Birdy's.

I went here for Saturday brunch. It was my first time here, my wife’s second time who recommended it. The place was not busy, maybe 1/2 to 1/3 capacity. Only two waitresses were working, who had to cover hosting, bar service, orders, food, cleaning, and - as I would later learn - garde manger. Both servers were very nice, polite, and deeply apologetic about the long wait to be seated 20 minutes with open tables)and place orders. Once food was ordered, it arrived very quickly. We both had the eggs Benedict, mine with salmon and my wife with ham. Over all the flavours were a little bland. The ham appeared to be made “in house” and was very thick, chewy, and had large chunks of fat. The home fries were very good, made from small unpeeled potatoes. However, they were quite salty. We ordered caesers, which were pleasant. Overall it was alright, but the restaurant is clearly understaffed resulting in long waits.

We had dinner at Birdy's last night. We both had a ceasar salad, and our mains were prime rib and the rib eye steak. Salads were great but the mains were just ok. My prime rib was ok in one part and the rest was sliced thin and over cooked and there was no jus as advertised. The ribeye was cooked good but both of our vegetables were a tad on the hard side. 5 stars goes to our waitress Victoria who's great attitude and bubbly personality will be the reason we give it another try. Next time we will try breakfast or lunch.

Went here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the menu selection. Hearty sandwiches, salads or main entrees like salmon. The atmosphere is very casual, it's clean and there's varied seating like table or booths. The prices are fair and you will get good quality food in return for the extra few dollars you spend. It's by no means unaffordable. The server was nice and attentive and knowledgeable of the dishes. I got the charcuterie board to start and it was fantastic. I then got the burger for my main meal and it all came out hot and tasted great. My friend also said her maple glazed salmon was great. I will be back to try this place for dinner.

We’ve always enjoyed dining in at Birdy’s pre-Covid and this evening, we pre-ordered steak and shrimp for a special dinner in our home. Their chef (Steve) prepared an excellent meal for us. We added their chocolate truffles which were exquisite for desert.

My friend and I started our dinner with bloody Caesars. Our drinks had the proper "punch". We also both ordered the salmon with wasabi butter entree. It was delightful!! We both give it 5/5. And our wait girl! Sorry we didn't get her name but she went over and above expectation - friendly, prompt and knowledgeable.

Used to love this place until last night. Waited 1/2 hr before our waitress took drink order. Ordered drinks & appetizer, I got the wrong drink, waited another 1/2hr & finally asked for our waitress to see where our appetizer was & if we could place our dinner order. Waited another half hour, no sight of our waitress & cook was standing there talking about his sweaty a** crack. We asked for our bill. We were celebrating our Anniversary June 30 2020 and were excited to be able to go out with all that Covid19 has brought to life .We picked Birdy's as we have had other celebrations here before. I know things are out of the normal but our experience was extremely difficult. We had a reservation and yes we were seated for 35minutes without anyone asking for a cocktail or wine etc.once our server came it was 20 minutes before we saw our wine and cocktail. The disturbing thing was that the a server continued to run through our patio to a seating area below us on the lawn .everytime she went past us she was running in and out very disturbing. No issue with food once it came ...however no follow up on meal and very dissatisfied with the end of evening as we were just handed our receipt and not a thank you etc ...over all disappointing evening

Birdy’s restaurant, Belleville, Ontario Dear friends took us there for dinner on Wenesday around 6pm. Had been there for finger food several times but not dinner. Probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had out (6oz Angus roast beef, mashed potatoes and veg). Didn’t want to upset my hosts at the time but later in the evening the three of us who had the beef agreed it was all very poor. ( in fairness, my wife enjoyed her fish). The meat was fatty, over cooked, the potatoes mashed or fried were awful and the vegetables were bland and soggy! The only saving grace was the craft beer (MacKinnon Bros...should have drank three more and gone for a Mama burger at A&W) Lots of folks coming in and hope they had a better experience. Support local but won’t be back.

I picked up Thanksgiving dinners to go to from Birdy's Restaurant today, and they were phenomenally amazing! There was everything on the plate that made it an amazing dinner, including Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Turkey, Stuffing & Vegetables. Everything was fresh and hot! We had dinner last night at Birdies. I had the Sole with a couple of massive scallops. The fish was great the scallops were perfectly cooked and the price was great. Hats off to the chef, well done. Great food very reasonable prices. Cheers

Always friendly, food is good quality. They order their gluten free bread from St Ann's bakery which is amazing. Just kinda disappointing that they put flour in the hollandaise sauce so baware. Sometimes the servers wear way too much perfume and its hard to breath. Otherwise good all round place

Currently sitting here, amazing food, awesome sever when very friendly. I love the name of this place and their cute image of a little bird. Highly recommend this place over more main chain places such as boston pizza, great prices too. Totally will be a regular patron. Great atmosphere if you prefer a quiet eating experience, no loud music or sports watching, come here for a date or with friends who just want a chill place to drink. They have tons of local craft beers to offer which impresses me. Come come come! Birdys is awesome

Their motto seems to be casual fine dining which is as curiously conflicted as the experience. It's a pleasant space but not luxuriant. The food is really quite good but more like well prepared, quality home cooking than fine dining. The service was timely and efficient but not warm or welcoming. The prices are a little high but not unreasonably so. In absolute terms I'd have rated it higher except that it doesn't meet the expectations set.

The food was INCREDIBLE. I cannot get over how good the food was. The muscles were a KNOCKOUT. The charcuterie board was amazing meats and cheeses. Not just a bunch of cold cuts on a plate like most places. The filet was so tender and LOADED with flavor. The prime rib was OUTSTANDING and having the option of adding 2 scallops was genius! Overall, an incredible food experience and the chef is incredibly talented. Wish he were in Toronto!! EAT HERE!

My mom ordered the smoked salmon but couldn't eat it because it tasted fishy. After about 25 minutes the server finally did a table check. She offered a replacement but by then mom had lost her appetite. We were told it would not come off the bill because the chef had had no other complaints about the dish that day. The chef, who is also the owner, made that decision even thought 90% of the meal was returned. It's not like my mom was trying smoked salmon for the 1st time in her life. In fact, she has had the dish there before as we used to go to Birdys about once a month. I didn't complain about the dry burger and limp fries I had. Maybe the chef was having a bad day but we will not go back.

A buddy and I had lunch today at Birdy's - the experience was truly wonderful. I'd not been before - and I can tell you unequivocally - it left a great first impression !! -- REALLY good food -- Service was quick -- the tables were well spaced - which made me comfortable. -- And the service was amazing --- in truth, it was the service that made it remarkable. We were served by Allison - who is, bar none - one of the funniest servers I've ever met --- she made the experience fun! The banter is still making me laugh! If you go, ask for Allison - tell her I sent you :) If you haven't been - you really should !!! We will surely go again!!

We have been back to Birdy's a few times since June and it has been excellent each time. We went for lunch today and it was excellent. We had a burger, grilled cheese, bow tie pasta and the smoked salmon. Everything was great.

Do NOT be fooled by all of the positive reviews of this place! Last Sunday was my first visit for breakfast: my homefries were cold and had to be reordered; by the time they arrived, everything else was cold. Decided to give them a second chance today (Sunday 12 December): the front room was freezing, so they kindly moved me to the larger room near the fireplace. Before changing tables, I ordered coffee, a Western omlette and toast. At my new table, I watched a couple arrive and be seated, order their breakfast and then begin eating. However, 40 minutes later, STILL NO FOOD FOR ME, so I got up and left. The LAST TIME I will ever go there! Are there black holes available for rating this place, instead of stars? Sitting across the street at the Olympic restaurant, enjoying my breakfast as I write this review. Only ten minutes for a full breakfast at the Olympic!!! Tina, You are treading dangerously close to a lawsuit for Libel. To cite your reply to my completely candid review: "Another issue is your statement that it was your second time at the business. The servers and I know you well and you have been a frequent regular thru out the summer and fall. I have no idea why you would lay down that false hood. [...] In my personal experience with serving you I have always felt you were unhappy or bitter. I will remember you in my prayers and pray for the Lord's blessing upon you." I am a practicing Christian, with absolutely NO NEED NOR REASON TO LIE in a public forum, and certainly would not waste my time nor my reputation to lie for a review of your sad little restaurant. Today was indeed my SECOND VISIT to your restaurant. I have NOT BEEN A REGULAR throughout the summer and fall! (Please learn how to spell in the English language: it's "throughout", and "falsehood" is ONE word!) Neither you nor your servers have EVER served me before last Sunday; you and I have NEVER MET before! Save your prayers for your incompetent kitchen and serving staff! If you are willing to accept and reply honestly to positive and even mediocre reviews, then at least have the fortitude and integrity to reply honestly to negative reviews. Otherwise, I suggest you find another form of employment. A public apology for your incorrect statements, your own "falsehoods" in your reply would be most appropriate. absolutely amazing! I love how much they focus on local ibgr diners, but more importantly they focus on local wineries from the county. I love huff estate! So happy to get a glass with dinner. The food is delicious, and inexpensive. It's probably my favourite restaurant in the Belleville area. I'll will come back every time I'm out this way visiting family.

I picked this restaurant because of the gluten free options, they can make most of the menu gluten free which was a plus for my step mom that is siliac. There were only 5 of us and we all just ordered meals, no appetizers or anything extra. Our dinner took an hour and a half to be put on our table, and the worst part was the waitress didn’t even come over between that hour and a half to let us know when we would be getting our meal. It was not busy, there were empty tables and people being served before us that got there after us. If it hadn’t of been for my step mom needing the gluten free option I would have walked out after the 45 minute mark. Another downside is that it was freezing in this restaurant, my family couldn’t even take off their winter jackets, and it’s very uncomfortable to eat a meal in a big winter coat. My only plus side is the food, which was very good but the portion sizes are small so don’t go there if you’re looking for a full belly meal. This was a very bad experience for me and my family it’s not a place that my family and I would go back to.

Had the Harvest Chicken ...house roasted chicken, cranberry mayonnaise, fresh greens on a ciabatta (I had toasted on rye) with salad was awesome!!! Staff all so friendly and lunch served quickly. Never disappointed at Birdy's.

My wife and I went for an anniversary brunch here. Food was delicious, servers were fast, polite and they fully respected our mask exemptions. Even had some good conversation with some strangers while waiting to be seated. We will definitely be back.
