Best buy is a good place to go for electronics. They have a lot of selections of 4K TVS, a lot of gaming consoles, games, printers, ink, computers, and computer monitors. Best buy is reasonably priced and has good customer service. I would reccomend to go here to get video games and gaming needs as they have an excellent selection

Current – Negligent and incompetent associates and management. I asked if there were any docking stations for a laptop only to be told no. 2 minutes later I found one. ORIGINAL - Staff are fairly knowledgeable but lack the passion of wanting to know more than the basics of the products. I've heard the one staff member that I know had the passion has gone to be an assistant manager for the mobile location in the mall. Bring that man back as a manager and I think the store will become greater than ever expected. Negligent and incompetent associates and management. If there is another store you can get what you need from this place then go there first. Also you're better off letting a kindergarten class fix your computer than their Geek Squad staff.

On November 12/2020 I visited best buy for an android watch..found one $189.99....but I didn't wear a mask and they ignored me. Shortly little time went by and one of the guys that works there told me to go outside....I told him I wanted to buy that watch...then he walked away... The next day November 13/2020 I went back to the store to get that watch...I wore a mask that I they say will make my medical condition worse.i see they changed the price from $189.99 to $249.99...why did the so called salesman not sell me the watch that night before..he told me to go outside... still don"t have my watch...my question is Are you closing or possible changing the name Best Bye

Never seems to have what you need in stock, the only thing saving this from being a 1 or 2 star review is the fact that one staff member went above and beyond to try and locate the product that was indicated in stock but was nowhere to be found. Please work on your stocking levels... or you know... just do what Target did.

This place is a joke, everything I have bought from here has issues within a week. I have a speaker that has worse sound than any device it is connected to. A printer that doesnt print, breaks down every second day and I had to buy connections for it elsewhere in order to set it up and to constantly fix it. And a computer that freezes all the time despite great specs. I am done buying anything from here.

Terrible place to go Christmas shopping or any shopping of any kind. I personally have gone to this store many time to either go there and find out that don't have the product that are sitting on there shelves or that you are getting ripped off because there website has better selection and pricing. I would not personally recommend go to this store at all

Normal best buy. Don't bother with their online ordering however. Ordered a 5 dollar RCA audio cable online and went in to pick it up. Turned out they didn't have any so they substituted it with an optic audio cable and said my order was ready for pickup... No, I wasn't able to conduct electricity with the plastic cable they wanted to give me in lieu of a copper one.

This is the usual Best Buy franchise location, and this location was once called Future Shop. They have the expected assortment of electronics, computer stuff, mobile electronics, wearable electronics, and so on. I wouldn't say that this particular example of the chain store is special in any way, so if you like Best Buy in other cities, chances are good that you will like this place as well. The staff is generally friendly, but they don't get in-your-face like other places, so I don't mind going in and browsing. If you know what you're looking for, you can sometimes snag a good deal here. If you're tech savvy, using your Android phone to scan products and look up reviews from all over the web can help you save a bundle.

This Best Buy location is a newer location in a beautiful new shopping area of Bellville! There is more than enough spaces for parking that are all free! The prices are in compatition with other electronic stores! Many items in Bellville are cheaper than found in Oshawa or Whitby. People are more relaxed in Bellville and the rush to shop becomes a pleasure to shop!

Best Buy is a horrible company that does not care about it's customers. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT order anything online and expect it to come hassle free. If you call their customer service section, they literally can't do anything for you because "The system won't allow it". They used the word Sorry so many times I don't think they know what it means. I needed my item right away, it's no longer on sale, I asked if they could contact the closest store to me to offer it to me at the sale price and they told me they could write a note online and it's up to the store to honour it or not. You can order almost everything on Amazon that you can here, only difference, you will get it when you're supposed to.

What's Living Here?

My father went in there with his GPS because it wouldn't charge. He thought it was because the battery had failed. Apparently someone there fumbled around with it and could't figure out how to change the battery. The battery wasn't the issue. All it would have taken was 2 seconds to plug a mini USB cable into the back. Problem solved then sell him on a new charge cable. Instead he was sold a new GPS. Way to go ripping off old people, Not cool at all, Will never purchase here, this is the last straw of a hand full of horrible experiences.

Inventory is a bit thin. After doing some research online on 65" TVs you start to wonder if Best Buy is really in it for the long haul. I'm not even just talking brick & mortar. Their online selection on the face looks very good, but when you start looking for actual stock, online or otherwise, they are 65% out of stock province wide. And I even confirmed with an in store employee that they had NOT just had a big sale on 65" Tvs. Again, they appear to be on their way out.

I’ve usually had problems with chain electronic stores or found that they’re not always he best. This is the opposite for this Best Buy. They have routinely gone above and beyond to help myself and other customers. They’re mobile phone department is probably the best example. If your looking for anything really, this place is great. I would of give a 5 stars to the store but.. The size of the store and the ammount of employees especially on a day called the Bozing Day... It was my first visit ever in a store on boxing day i usually work on those days... which i like... But being the customer that went in on that day on boxing day 2016 was my worst experience.. So I went to London Drugs where I’m always treated with respect, they know how to not harass a customer and understand when a customer need a question answered. London Drugs got the $1000 sale.

I thought Future Shop always had terrible service but I was surprised to see an even greater level of disservice the other day . I walked into the store beside a fellow who is unknown to me and after a solid 10 minutes of watching 5 blue shirts making weekend plans I went into the TV dept and that guy helped me with some camera stuff . The guy that walked in with me gave up and left . This place needs more floor managers as 5 people in a circle could be slimmed down to one or none if they aren't producing . It is always the same mismanaged shame . In retail there's a lot worry about and I worked / managed / owned retail for almost 20 years so I get it but try to try . First staff rule SPREAD OUT as you can't cover 10'000 square feet when the whole staff is in a tiny circle facing each other !

Went to buy an expensive Arlo system, asked for a discount, after 10 minutes of them checking prices, I told them I can do the same and left without buying. They basically had said no because they could not find a lower price. Also did not buy other item I had in hand and wanted. Store is a morgue. Not sure why they exist when I can shop online, get a lower price, and not waste my time or gas, then the staff will be shocked they are out of jobs. Bestbuy days are numbered. Just still sitting in the parking lot, 10 minutes later, bought a better deal on Amazon, delivered, saved $100 on 3 camera system. Was looking for 2 or 4 so it didn't matter, just wanted a deal and they failed, wonder why they think they deserve a wage?

Ok so I bought a BlackBerry playbook, from the Best Buy store in Belleville, and well what happened was, it worked for half a year and now it wont charger because the usb inside the Playbook is broken. I would really like to know why you don't tell people that the usb connecter in the playbook is loose. I am going to buy a rapid charger, but if that does not work for me I am going to return the charger and the playbook because I really do want a tablet that will let me watch my shows and not freeze on me or shut down. Speaking of shutting down. when the playbook reaches a certain percentage of battery life like 9% it would usually start shutting down, this time it didn't it had gone all the way to 0% and, it would not charge. Maybe when you are selling this product you should inform your customers about the possibility of it having problems charging. I would have really appreciated if you had told me that it might not charger ever again if it went to 0%. I am upset but am willing to give it another shot, but if this doesn't fix it, well then I know that I will not be a customer that will buy a Playbook or any tablet from Best Buy again.

I dropped off my lap top on Aug 4, the only person working in the geek squad area had no idea how to intake an item, so that took nearly an hour and 3 more staff members to help. then it sat in the store until aug 22 when I went in yelling about my laptop, then the sent it out. on aug 27 it still was not with hp and I got a call saying they would need to restore the laptop ..... the issue was the fan died. after a month I still dont have my laptop back and dont know when or if it will return.

All within one month, I buy a laptop with geek squad insurance and software, they call me when it’s ready for pickup and it’s still in the box, nothing installed, “ come back tomorrow “ “ sorry about that” is what I’m told. I buy a new cell outright/ no contract..with geek squad insurance, comes with a screen protector which falls off two weeks later, “ you need to bring the plastic back as proof for a new one” Why am I paying monthly geek squad protection and replacement insurance then? Then I buy a dishwasher, to be delivered July 12 between 7:30 and 9:15am, I get my daughter to wait all day for them for nothing because it’s delivered somewhere else although they have the right address on the system, Now the guy to install it needs to be rescheduled but that not my problem because I did it through geek squad and now I have no idea when my dishwasher will be delivered or installed. “ if I don’t call you back tonight, it will be first thing tomorrow” it’s 3:00pm and I called. $2700.00 in business this month and this is what I get!

I was having trouble playing some games on my laptop, they knew immediately what games and why it wasn't running optimal. They helped me with an upgrade SSD, showed me how to take apart my laptop, install was just a couple hours, went back later to pick it up and it was sanitized, cleaned and I was very satisfied. One of the best experiences I have ever had with ANY store. I am sure they even did some simple maintenance fixes to make it run faster and better even when I'm not gaming. All data was recovered and back in it's place. 10/10!

The starts are strictly for the sales guy we dealt with, Austin. We went in with intentions to purchase a Surface Go. After realizing it was smaller than we thought, we went to look at Chromebooks, Austin helped us decide it wasn't what we were looking for based on our needs. We then looked at the Dell Inspiron 13, and really liked it, however the only one left was the demo. That wasn't a problem, we were told it just needed to be wiped and should be ready in the morning as they would start it to do the wipe overnight. At 2pm, I went into to pick up the laptop, and was told that there was an error during the wipe and they had to restart it. This wasn't an issue, however a phone call to let me know this was the situation would have been nice, as it was anticipated for the morning... After I asked if it would be done for tomorrow, I left. Three hours later I missed a call, no voicemail was left, so I called back. I was put on hold for a few minutes and was told it was ready. I got there and the laptop was sitting with the charging cord wrapping up on top of it. The girl behind the service desk handed me the laptop and cord. This is a brand new computer in which I just spend $600 on, it wasn't even put into a box, and when I asked for one she told me it was thrown out, and offered me a bag instead.. I understand this is a demo product, but surly there must be some sort of packaging available aside from a plastic bag to put a BRAND NEW computer into. At no point with in the store was I greeted with a "Hi, how are you?" or even a smile, nor did anyone say "Have a nice day" as we left or "Sorry for the delay/inconvenience". These are basic customer service skills, which this staff seriously lacked. I felt like a burden being there, which is not something a person should feel when looking to make a large purchase. We seen a few other products in the store which at some point will want to purchase, however because of the lack of customer service, we will be buying these elsewhere

I was quite annoyed by their home delivery service and their installation team the customer service is garbage we were told we could have another week of waiting if we rescheduled our delievery when we were only given notice 24hours before the delivery and a 4hour window as to when they would arrive. Then we are told we need to have the old appliances pulled out for them....what did i pay for? And the install guy told us he could install "sometime this week" i work out of town and she works during the day. we cant just put our lives on hold to accomadate such short notice and vague responses. I called our boys in the medicine hat store and they fixed things so that we could pick up our appliances from their store instead of dealing with that headace. 5 stars to the med hat in store team its a pity that the delivery team and install team brought those 5 stars down to 3 stars tho.

I once gave Best Buy in Medicine Hat a bad review due to a couple of employees who screwed me around on products. Since then new staff and management have been great and helped with several big ticket items. Very please with the turn around and customer service I've received lately! Terrible. On black friday I called in to see if they had something in stock, the automated message said they don't pick up the phone that day due to massive amounts of customers. Makes sense. I went in looked for what I wanted, couldn't find it. I asked a floor salesmen for assistance, he had no idea to find what I wanted, but a passing customer overheard my question and assisted me. Yea, another customer. Now, a couple weeks later, I've called over 14 times to ask about something in stock. No answer and looked them up online and apparently they are famous for not answering phone calls. Fine by me, I guess wal-mart is going to get my business.

There is no transparency of what method of shipping Best Buy will use. They use to send me products via Canada Post, this was great for rural customers because we are close to rural post offices, but then they will randomly decide to send something via courier, and then the courier will fail the shipment because they can't ship to rural post boxes, and then they will call for a correct address, not ring the door bell and make you drive an hour to their pick up location. Don't order if you live outside the city. It is useless.

Was double charged recently and because I paid debit, the manager said she couldn’t reimburse me right away. Ok, inconvenient but the manager says she’s putting it through and promised a call next day. I received no such call. As a customer that was double charged and provided proof just waiting for reimbursement in my account. I called the store which unfortunately doesn’t answer their phones. Poor customer service to say the least. I’d give the store a zero rating if I could! -signed The Poor Customer still waiting for her money back!

I bought a washer and dryer set here and after about 18 months the washer stopped draining. So I called geek squad and since it was after hour I got the overseas squab. Well they wrote the info down wrong and when I called again during the day I spoke to in country geek squad. They told me that it went down. Anyway wrote to best buy about the problem that I didnt want to wait 2 1/2 weeks for a washer and I had to pay out of pocket to go to the laundry mat. Well the manager (Marshal) came over that night with a washer for me to use until mine was fixed. This is why I will always shop here.

One of the most useless electronic stores ever. Prices are sky high unless you happen upon a good sale. All of the staff that I've interacted with are totally oblivious even if you know exactly what you're looking for. Expect to wait around the store for a while if you need help as you will either be ignored or be passed off to another sales associate. Associates can't even tell you whether they carry certain things and will just direct you to the Best Buy website. I went to buy a hard drive recently and they had some in stock, however, they do not sell the cables (SATA cable) that you need to connect the hard drive. What's the point of selling the drive then? I really wonder how many customers have been screwed over just because the associates couldn't be bothered to find a better alternative or explain the details to them. The biggest issue with this store is that most of their items are not stocked in-store and have to be ordered online, so good luck seeing, let alone trying, any of their computers or other electronics before buying. The only reason to go to a store like this now is if you need something immediately (good chance they won't have what you need in-store anyways) or they have a good sale on. You're better off just ordering off Newegg or Amazon for any of your tech needs.

Like others, I had a bad experience with customer service here. A young man (with glasses and goatee from what I recall) gave me faulty info on a product. He acted like I was putting him out when he had to go to the back for the product. When he first walked up to me I told him exactly what I was looking for including the PS3 part. I had looked online before going and it said the store had 9 of them. That wasn't good enough for this guy. He had to waste time looking it up. Then he took forever finding it in the back room. When I went to the cash I noticed that it was a PS4. When I told him I needed the PS3 version the guy started to lose it, and proceeded to blame me for his error. This guy should not be in customer service! I figured he was working commission and missed out on a big sale or something due to the way I was treated. I will now avoid this store because of that guy. I must say that the females there were friendly and I had a far better experience with one of them on different trip.

Price match policy should say “we’ll match it, as long as it’s not more than $20” Called ahead, spoke to manager on duty about an all in one printer/copy/scanner that was on sale at staples. He says no prob, just show the flyer or website when you arrive. Showed up 10 min later with the sale details showing item in store at local Staples to cashier. They were shocked to see it was $90 off MSRP and got the run around. Waited for manager at till but apparently he was too busy in the back. Walked out without printer. In all honesty, it's always been a hit or miss at Best Buy/Futurueshop. It really depends on the workers themselves as well. I can walk to one kid and get completely incorrect information, the next will have knowledge that surpasses my own. Most of the time us as customers only post when we have a shitty experience here because that's our only way of venting and kicking them in the ass somehow. They have this warranty on everything they try to sell you on, but in reality. They're doing their job. It's not up to those guys as to what they can and can't tell/do for you. Honestly this is one of the best stores I've stepped into. Would be nice if the workers were placed in certain sections as opposed to having a ridiculous amount of knowledge in computers and none in tvs, audio, or anything else for that matter. As well as for the previous review, i used to work in retail in calgary. They don't make the decisions on what sales go on. most places, they go in. And post up whatever new prices there are for the day, go work in retail and you'll understand yourself instead of asking for information they simply don't get. Not their faults, but once again. They should have people dedicated in separate sections in the store like appliances, audio, tv's, computers, and phones.

I get in todays world everyone wants you to order online but sometimes things pop up and having to wait a week for an online order means not being able to complete a project during a few precious moments That you are not working. I went to this store this morning shopping for a new Blue ray/DVD player. When I walked in the store I walked by 3 staff - all just standing there. I spent almost 15 minutes in the section, not a single staff person approached me. As I left the store there were 5 staff standing near the front of the store - three chatting to each other, the other two doing nothing. As I approached the exit one asked me if I found what I was looking for.... no - if I had I'd be carrying out a purchase. I commented to him that no one offered to help me so I was leaving... I went to Visions and ten minutes later had my new Blue ray. The service at Best Buy is awful.. these people need to learn to ask customers if they can be of assistance - this is my second time in a Best Buy store and my second experience of poor customer services.

It was really screwed up and they couldn't fix it so we negotiated an exchange for a different model, all over the phone, long distance from Mexico. Today I had a most unfortunate visit to the Best Buy here in Medicine Hat. Being the holidays, I was expecting the store to be quite busy, so I made sure to allow ample time for my visit. I wanted to find out as much information about the product I was interested in purchasing, without burdening the staff too much. Upon entering the store, I noticed that my fears were unwarranted, as I was one of only maybe 5 customers inside the building. I approached the service counter and was the only person waiting for assistance. Here's where my problem started. The two younger gentlemen working the service desk were not even looking in the direction of would be customers (myself) and deeply entrenched in a conversation about their weekend. Not normally a huge deal but their topics they were discussing were extremely inappropriate for a work place environment, and at an even more inappropriate volume. This went on unchecked for 20 minutes. 20 minutes I stood there, no acknowledgment, no manager checking in on them, no other staff noticing my frustrations. If I was a secret shopper, the entire store would have failed already, and I hadn't even been spoken to yet. When the conversation finally did stray away from dick jokes and sexually charged star wars references, I was able to ask about the product i was interested in. I had done some light research online myself, and was hoping to just cover a few simple questions, before buying. One of the employees admitted he "knew absolutely nothing about them" and the other began reciting the info directly off the side of the box. I mentioned that I had already read the side of the box and asked if there was anyone around who could perhaps offer more in depth info about the item. The answer was no and that I could basically read stuff online about it. I asked if either of the guys had any experience at all with computers and electronics before starting at Best Buy. They both said "no". I asked for a manager. The manager was "in the back" and added "he doesn't know either" and finally that I "should have just googled my questions prior to coming in". Now, I can accept not being helped as soon as I walk into the store, I can accept that the manager was too busy to come out, I can accept that I had to listen to two simple jack teens blabbering on about their lives at top volume and ignoring customers, but what I CANNOT accept, is having employees that have zero clue what the hell you guys are selling. Zero technical knowledge and training. And zero life experience as not a single employee around there is above the age of 18. Best Buy is obviously not going to pay the best wages, and that results in a much younger employee demographic, but this is a TECH store, a place to buy the latest and greatest. Surely someone around there should have even the smallest inclination of how to turn on a computer or fire up a stereo system. I don't even want to imagine the mayhem that might have ensued had I asked to look at a drone. Needless to say I did not buy the item, and have ordered it instead online.

I find the selection is getting less for products overall. They carry lots of products but to many that has little to do with the standard home electronics. Everything from TV's to dishwashers. They will tell you to go to their website for more selection but if I do that I will look for the lowest price.

I don't normally write reviews but this I feel should be shared as it's very frustrating between Google and Best Buy. I am very unhappy with both google and Best Buy. We both got new phones as are contract was up and went with the GOOGLE PIXEL 3. Well in the process my wife had a baby that's in Nicu so we are both very busy and now my wife is with our baby all day and I travel back and forth. Well 5 days later of having the phones the common problem apparently all over the internet is we lose connection with one another. I can't even talk to someone 3 blocks down Every phone call we make to each other we constantly lose connection and it cuts in and out. Only way we can have a conversation is facetiming one another. Both google and Best Buy are aware of this issue After only a month and 6 days I had a chance to deal with this situation as it's very frustrating with difficult times we are having and can not communicate with one another. I have talked to Google and Best Buy the only result is Best Buy could only do something for me if it was in the 30 days and gave me a BS story. Google wants me to be without a phone for 5-15 business days before getting a new one. We have had terrible service with both as not only does my job consist of my phone but more importantly my family. THIS IS ARE FIRST AND WILL BE ARE LAST GOOGLE PRODUCT. We also would expect better service from Best Buy understanding we couldn't have the chance to get in there in time. We were willing to make something work but are just not able to be without a phone. VERY DISSAPOINTED IN BOTH COMPANIES

This business could have great potential for being a small store. You would expect great customer service, but it seems they are over welmed taking care of the square footage of the building. Hard to find staff to ask qns. Bought a SD card for my tablet and it failed in couple weeks. Another time was looking for a game for my computer. Got one they said would work, but was not compatible when i got it home. Staff refused to let me return both items. For the game, they told me to come back another day and talk to the guy who sold it to me. I heard them laughing as i walked awsy. Bought a sony ipod dock at another store and battery stopped charging. Didn't even bother trying to take it back this time, didn't want to battle with the staff. Bought my computer there in the past as well as a roku box, both work fine but I really dont like buying there because of the unfair return policy. Can't speak about all of the current staff but they have a few meanies that work there that like to toy with the customers. I imagine it's not a nice place for them to work.

The worst repair service in the world is called Geek squad. I could understand that because of pandemic it stayed in Toronto service centre for 52 days. But when I received the laptop, I found out they haven't fix anything! It's just to change the keyboard for my laptop! And they charge 112 dollars in advance! During this long time no one cared to give me a phone call telling me why they can't fix it. Bought a plasma flat screen from Belleville Best Buy. On sale $150 off. 6 months it craps out and had to go through Best Buy for replacement. It took 2 months for them to get the approval to replace it and when I went in for the switch they told me the sale was over and had to pay the difference from the sale price for the new TV. It was warranty full replacement, a simple swap I still don't understand why I had to cough up $150 plus tax for replacement of factory warranted product. Horrible, rude service today. My son bought a t.v. there about a month ago with 3 year geek squad coverage. Last week when he turned on the t.v. the screen would be half black and half white, nothing worked. He phoned geek squad with all info and they said no porblem just exchange it. So in we went to Best Buy and the "customer service LEADER" we had deal with us was a total dick. His tone was snotty and belittling, he flat out accused my son of breaking the t.v. He said "well he cracked the screen obviously"....but wouldn't show me the crack. Then he threatened us that if it happened again within the next 6 months they would not replace it. What good is the coverage we pay for, which includes accidental breakage, if they threaten to not honour it??? Such B.S. we will not buy another thing from this store!

This has to be the the least informed staffI have ever come across in my entire life. You ask one of their employees a question and he says he needs to get somebody from that department. The person from the department then comes along and you ask them the question and their vast wealth of knowledge concerns of reading the information off of the box to me as if I can’t read myself. Upon a second visit I asked for assistance and was told to go browse in the section and they would be a long after 20 minutes I go to the front and ask again and they say it will send somebody right over another 10 minutes goes by and not a soul is to be found.go into the store for a good sale item and oh we only carry that online but we have this version that will work it only costs 40% more.

Went in Saturday around noon to get a refund on 1 broken item and then buy a laptop for my granddaughter and got no help from customer service. There were 2 girls texting on their phone and when I asked for help one of them said they were going on break and the other girl would help me out. The one girl was playing catch with a balloon. Yup, a balloon. The other girl walked to another till 3 feet away and rang 2 customers in. A tad angry, after a couple minutes she says to me that she will call a sales person to help me find a computer. I had the model number from their website and asked her if possible just have someone bring it up and I'll pay. I asked her about a refund for my other item and she says I have to go pick out my computer and then she will refund my other item. Now it's been 5 minutes I have no computer, no refund, and I'm no further ahead. She picks up her phone and I can see her texting someone and after a few more minutes wasted one sketchy looking male employee with pink hair and earrings comes up to me and says he can help. I asked him if the computer I asked customer service for earlier was in stock and he rudely replied he doesn't know anything about it. I told him I had the model number and he said that wasn't any help and I needed to know what brand and what price it was and he could look it up. Umm hello, thats why I wrote down the model number. As I asked him about it he litterally walked up to the front door of the store and just started saying hi to customers. I was dumbfounded that he just left me standing there. I returned my item, bought some batteries which I will never buy again and the same cashier that was no help said to me to fill out a survey on the bottom of the receipt saying I had a good experience. The way these young employees looked and acted make it clear there is no management present and no personal or social skills taught here. It looks as though they hire a bunch of high school kids for cheap labour. Won't be returning

Only 2 stars because of the workers. The extra star is only because the store had what I was looking for. The staff won't acknowledge you even though you're trying to get their attention. They just gossip with one another. So if you're in need of assistance in this store, make sure to go up to the employee right away to ask for help. If you don't, you'll be left alone in the isles looking like a fool trying to figure out where to look for the item you want or what the best choice is. Another thing is that they didn't even know what's the best item for the buck of the product that you're looking for. They just recommend one of the expensive stuff.

Pretty good inventory we went in looking for a router upgrade and while I'm knowlegeable and was caught in a self debate for anyone else it would have been nice if any of the staff had offered any sort of assistance since that was not known to them and router selection can be troubling for some people. The place is almost always dead with employees outnumbering customers 10 to 1, yet everytime I'm there I have to seek out assistance. Staff are cooperative once you've captured their attention, but definitely subpar service. Common item had to be ordered in, then was not available on the date promised. My wife called in looking for help with her recent purchase and was waiting on the phone for FORTY FIVE rings -- needless to say at that point she hung up. She then called Geek Squad specifically at that store and waited another 20 rings until calling their 1800 number. Once she finally got through to them they wiped their hands clean (despite the fact we bought the extended warranty) and told us we had to contact the manufacturer first. I know the sales people don't work on commission but they are still very pushy. Overall it is overpriced and has poor customer service.

I've never liked this style of store. It's a glorified Canada Post office if you want anything specific - it has to be ordered and delivered (similar to Amazon except the prices aren't as good and they don't deliver to your house). They say they've got the largest warehouse storage, but that really means little if they can't find the items you want. Don't worry though, they've got 3 house brand equivalents for the exact same price as the name brand part. ????

I just spent my my $800.00 at Visions! Asked where Drones section was greeter told me nicely. I couldn’t find it in the camera section. I walk around for a bit and finally go the tall guy in black talking to a guy in a suit about “transitioning” if he works there. He says yes. I ask him where I might find the drone. He repeats says camera section. I finally find it on my own behind the post. Well doors are locked no staff, they are all in the front section. I’m fed up and go to Visions. Do not shop here if you want correct and accurate advice on which products to purchase. When you ask for help you get directed to the next person a few times before finally coming to someone who points you in the direction to go look yourself. On top of when i found what i needed myself and paid for it i figured out i did not need it so upon returning it i notice the price was cut from 20$ to 10$ and noone can explain why within a night of purchasing an item it was marked down 50%?

I went to the store and explained to the associate that I would purchase a TV, but was unwilling to pay the $49.99 for delivery. Other retailers could match the price, the TV was not in stock there and I was also able to transport the TV myself. They agreed and said it would be free delivery. The receipt was done in a way that the TV was discounted $49.99, but the delivery was still listed at 49.99. I didn't think it was a big deal because the total price was the same and I was told it had to be done this way. Well, unfortunately the TV was defective and I ended up returning it to the store myself. Seeing how the receipt was done and despite my numerous attempts to explain the situation, they were willing to refund the TV, but unwilling the refund the $49.99 that was listed for delivery. I didn't even want to pay this amount in the first place and would have never agreed to purchase the TV under these terms. I trusted the associates but in the end I lost.

All that is provided is an 1800 number with an automated voice recording that is less than helpful. This place is a joke now. Had the manager open up a desktop for me because he couldn't tell me what slots the motherboard had for cards, there's hardly anything on the shelves, the staff stands around and chats; resolutely ignoring customers, and they never seem to know where anything is. They also have a habit of having something "in stock" only to not be able to find it, or to discover they're using it as a floor model.

Last year in 2015 we went to Best Buy to buy two computers for Christmas and the service was horrific. They were so busy chatting, you had to interrupt them to ask a question. They literally look at you and turn back away like you do not exist. Then we actually found a decent employee who proceeded to tell us we get what we pay for and anything under $600 would be useless the following year and we were cutting quality for our children. We tried another time to purchase a travel tablet for husband's work when on the road to access emails and such. He carries alot of stuff with him in the field so he wanted smaller then his computer but bigger then his phone. They mocked him despite the fact that he had a legit reason for his purchase. He has a phone and computer, he wanted a tablet and we left for else where. This year we gave them a last chance. We went in to get out youngest a computer and the service was quite honestly the same. Some blonde lady was too busy chatting to acknowledge me more then a sour look. Then trying to find another employee was frustrating. We did and he was very uneducated in this field and fetched another employee. The new one literally said look around and let me know of you have questions and walked away. ???? Yeah no problem I only asked for help for giggles. We just left it was easier so we went to Staples.

I just stood in the lap top section for 15 minutes waiting for assistance. I know exactly the model I want and it was to be the easiest sale if the day. The associate at geek squad called for a store associate to come. No one showed. There were 2 other customers in the store and 3 associates yacking at the front desk about nothing work related. I cannot shop online as my data is too slow and I'm currently unable to access wifi. After waiting in line for a couple minutes in the cold about an hour ago, I was logged in by a front of store employee with a tablet and told I'd receive a call (she verified my number 3 times). I waited in my car for about half an hour, having received no call, and then walked up to inquire. Both sales attendants at the front, who came outside to greet me were unfamiliar with me and my earlier inquiry; even the lady who'd spent several minutes with me taking my name, number, and logging my request into her tablet system, and I only realized her inability to remember me from not that long ago (and it's not at all busy) after she'd finally come to greet me in the cold, removing her earbuds in order to talk with me. After they corrected the situation, and I waited there, I received a call within minutes from a gentleman from BestBuy who began to inform me of what was available, except that he was unable to understand what an "audio recording device" is, and continued to suggest that I must be looking for a voice recorder. For me, not being able to browse the selection, and being unfamiliar with the terminology of this tech, "audio recorder" seems the most obvious description of what I need, however he was stumped. I conveyed my disappointment at his inability to understand my request, by saying, "are you kidding me," at which point he became rude and I told him I no longer felt comfortable shopping here. He had no response, and after I made him aware of his failing customer service, I waited in silence on the phone for a lengthy time(10 seconds?) Before eventually saying "hello," to which he replied, "hello," and then I once again informed him that I couldn't believe how nonexistent his customer service efforts were, and he began to talk about something entirely unrelated to my current communication (he referred back to his inability to understand what an audio recording device is in comparison to his understanding of a voice recorder, which was now besides the point for me, who felt slighted, and also somewhat offended and uncomfortable by now). Best Buy, this is not the first time that I'm shocked at how you treat your customers. If this is the future of consumerism, I'll have nothing to do with it. Perhaps I'll not be able to record audio, which I'm finding is a necessity these days in order to record and document situations like this, which allow me to seek retribution, protect myself from accusations, or simply to recall past instances in order to clearly found opinions and justify action. This instance, which I've tried my best to describe here, should not only be a concern to BestBuy, but to anyone who reads this. Thank you.
