Love the root beer, but the Coney fries aren't what they used to be. And never enough sauce, very dry! Small Coney fries and a small (and I mean small) root beer came to almost $8.00. ???? I almost forgot to mention that the service was terrible. The girl waiting on me wasn't friendly at all. Never said hello, didn't crack a smile and I had to remind her that I'd ordered a root beer! I ordered two items.... Wow!

I am a strict vegetarian, and I trust that when I order a veggie burger, I will receive a veggie burger. I was appalled to see that when I ordered the veggie burger last week in the drive thru, that it was actually meat. Upon discovering this I immediately called the restaurant and brought it to the attention of the staff who, to put it nicely "could care less". No apology, no offer to refund or even remake. Nothing. This is truly unacceptable in this day and age. There are people who count on being served what they ordered, maybe not because they are vegetarian but maybe because they have an allergy, or sensitivity etc. If I had an allergy and you served me something that sent me into anaphylaxis then would it matter? It's deplorable and the response I received from the manager allows me to better understand why the staff don't care; because he doesn't care either. Please go anywhere else but here. You'll thank me later.

Ordered a combo here at the A&W on Bell Blvd, across the street from the Quinte Mall. Had a nice young lady who was busy cleaning-up move in to take my order since the cashier was MIA for over 5min. Had no problem ordering. Then an older women took over (the missing cashier) and ruined an otherwise pleasant experience. Her attitude just stank. She was condescending to me when I asked her a simple question and I did not appreciate the tone in which she spoke to me. Needless to say, I won't be coming back to this A&W because of her. I've always had a lot of tolerance for unpleasant cashiers in minimum wage jobs, but we're all making $14 an hour now and I just expected a little better.

I'm not a fan to start with. My last few visits to this location with friends I found the trash full, tables a mess, return try area quite full. We let the counter staff know the trash and try area was full when we got there. It was still that way when we left some 30 minutes later.

This location in Belleville is right beside the Tesla supercharging stations in Belleville, and so i visit it often during road trips between Ottawa and Toronto. Highly recommend this location as it is newly renovated and had the same great burgers (vegetarian) and organic fair trade coffee that other a&w locations are famous for. Thanks A&W!

It was cruise night, so we ventured in for our food. Food is what your would expect from the chain. What really impressed me was their hiring practices. This may come off radical, but I saw someone who was in a section school class growing up. I love that this business gave this individual an opportunity to make a living for their life. Come to think of it, I don’t’ often see people with disabilities working. I am not exactly sure the rationale for this but this young woman cleaning off the dishes, it was a great way to make money. Great job A&W!

Now that I’m keto, they have GREAT keto options... just ask for any burger to be made with a lettuce leaf instead of bun. They put a large leaf crisp lettuce instead of the bun and it tastes great with a great crunch.

The A&W chain made a very wise move in investing themselves into this venture. We ended going at the different spots of the chain. Both provided with equal quality and service. We stopped by to try their coffee as we had never tried it before and they were offering it for free. The coffee was good (much better than Tim Hortons) and the staff were pleasant. The reason for the three ???????????? is because we were stuck in the drive through for almost 10 minutes. Someone up ahead uf us either had a big order or an issue with their order, instead of asking them to go to a staging spot we all waited in line at the drive through while they completed the order.

I have not come back here since the Reno. I use to be in 2 or 3 times a week minimum. The older lady behind the cash should be fired asap. The lads in the kitchen need to figure out how to cook eggs, bacon, and learn to plate food. The last 3 times I was there, with the wife and kid, the cashier was rude, screwed up my order, then told me to deal with it. Every single time of the last 3 visits the eggs (ordered over easy) were way over cooked, hashbrowns soggy, and some how I ended up with a pile of tomatoes that I didnt want or order. Needless to say everytime we literally tossed out $30 worth of food right in the trash beside them and proceeded to McDonals which was much friendlier and WAY cleaner.

Burger came in a French fry pouch, straw fell apart in the cup in the first 5 minutes, and the up in my cup holder 15-20 minutes later on drive home... I paid 25 bucks to get pop all over my car... To add to it, the food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Bad enoff expirence that I will not eat there again.

Not impressed one bit, rather disappointed and am wondering who the unqualified cooks are that work there. Let me start off saying their burgers are great and always have been, but their onion rings, fries are atrocious like beyond disgusting.. my oven baked store bought onion rings that I cook myself are better than these, I wonder what happened? Their onion rings used to be amazing, but now their always undercooked and the onion is raw, nothing is crispy, same with their fries , just a soggy unsatisfying mess, so now I get their burger and drink and I go elsewhere for the fries. Service as been generally good, sometimes it takes close to ten minutes sitting in the drive-thru until I get my food but I'm ok with that.
