I know the majority of the reviews are nice but that's how local people are who only have one "raw pet food" store to shop at. I have been in the habit of making it a point to write reviews the last year or so because whenever I feel like there is a lack of customer service and when the prices out weigh the product and service. I try not to complain and be that anti this and anti that type of person. Everything I write is only my personal experience!
To the Asian fellow who owns/works there:
1. Each time I have went in there to wash my dog I tend to get a push back from the guy as if he is not at all interested in allowing me to wash my dog. He gives me the run down, all the rules and tells me its super busy etc. Basically if you are only there to wash your dog and not buy something, he is not having it - regardless if you are a regular customer and buy food there the majority of the time.
2. He sells the Mega Raw Dog food and the mixed backs that say Pork, Beef, and turkey. I ask him if there is a good portion of beef in there and he says yes but what I get when I open it is lots of turkey and lots of pork (the cheaper stuff) and one pack of beef. The price of this back is nearly $100 with tax in. Keep in mind this is for scrapped turkey meat and pork with god knows what is in the Beef.
3. I ask him questions just for fun sometimes but he doesnt appear to have the knowledge one would hope for considering his prices and the fact he is selling you food for you pet. A survival product for the pets to be fed well and healthy for a heavy price. I doubt he even has a dog.
4. He has a data base there that he is too lazy to use. He gives you a receipt with a stamp on it and expects you to pile it up and save them so you get the discount after so many stamps. At the same time he has your name and details saved under your number and says Mr or Mrs so and so every time you give him the number yet he cant add the stamp into the system so he knows for the next time that you bought "x" amount of products and are granted a free one or whatever he gives.
There is nothing worse then those people who want all your money but lack the customer service and customer care in return. He comes across 50/50 with me, some days ignorant, some days arrogant and some days just a regular guy who owns a pet store. He talks a bit down to you and again I don't even think he owns a dog??
