Took my pooch in for his first grooming appointment and he came out looking gorgeous and super soft. He got the furminator treatment and they brushed him so thoroughly that he has half the tail he used to! And don't mistake, that's praise, my pup had a tail like a shedding flag. When we picked him up he was happy and even we could tell he was proud of how good he looked and how he felt.

Big selection for sure , prices are a little high, some stuff is just ridiculous in price , I understand peoples love of their pets but I think there should be some boundaries. I will probably only come here if I can't find what I need elsewhere. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and their adoption section for cats is very well set up, there is definitely a need for this .

i know a few people who bought some worms from them for their chameleons and other reptiles and there was something wrong with the worms and they ended up killing both of there animals. i have heard several bad things about them and there chameleons are very badly taken care of.

I am from out of the area and am new to the curb side pick up concept so I didn’t know to wait for a confirmation email in order to pick up our online order. I explained this to the staff member on the phone and when I was “put on hold” I overheard the employee talking poorly about and imitating me to her coworkers. It was very unprofessional.

Worst experience ever... Sent my bf to pick up dog food.. The manager named alan talked down to him since he didn't have the order number. Accused him of trying to steal dog food. Even after I he gave them the order number.. My bf was then asked for ID. The whole ordeal was a nightmare. Will def not shop there ever.

The puppy classes are great. Worth the money. And the instructor is wonderful - 5????. However, rather annoyed with the store itself. They've been out of my dog's food for a month. I finally had to try and pick a new food she was so low on kibble. Not only do I have to transition her to something else but do you know how hard it is to find a reasonable food? Everything is grain free BS and nothing for weight management. I ended up with a bag of blue buffalo TWICE the price of her normal food.

We came in without bringing in our dog but then we spoke to Luke who was amazing and he fitted our dog to a harness that we didn’t plan on getting but realized how much better it actually was and he then took us to his training area and helped us with Maviek!! Ordered two 25lb bags of dry food and a few cans. One bag of food was ripped to shreds and there is kibble everywhere. Called Customer Service and they wanted us to sweep it up, put it in bags, and ship it back AT OUR OWN EXPENSE for the exchange. Their response was basically, "too bad, so sad, sweep it up and send it back to us and we will evaluate for a refund." Escalated to a supervisor and they reluctantly agreed to ship another bag without the return but had to send many pictures showing them the mess first. We will NEVER use PetSmart again after years of loyalty.

A very clean and organized location. The staff is friendly and prompt to help and suggest. We always go here to the grooming salon, Deborah in the grooming salon does amazing work! I appreciate her attention to detail, as per my preference, love and care towards my pup. Which is why we return here for her services, time and time again. We have also been to this location to attend training classes offered by Luke, which have helped a great deal. He is very skilled & knowledgeable and always has guidance for our concerns.

Well, the place always has what I need. I get the Royal Canin Rottweiler Adult 30lb bags and they always have them in stock. My only wish is that they carried tripe. Big dogs like Rottweilers live that stuff. Other than that, they got everything and staff are great.

Great service! Love their lockdown efforts. They'll put heavy items like 40 pound cat litter right in your trunk. Bought 6 and there was no complaining from the staff. Overall the locations are fantastic, but the website to do online ordering extremely weak. Needs to be updated. I'd like them to keep online ordering with curbside develivery. It's also your typical big box store, and there are options for indie stores we use for food. Items like litter are very affordable.

After purchasing a product online, I proceeded to pick up the item in store. Followed instructions through email to wait near sign but then I talked to cashier in regards to order. After receiving product I realized the item would be too big for my dog, so the associate returned my item and then proceeded to tell me that my points that I used on previous purchase were now gone and I would have to pay full price for the same item just one size smaller. Then told me that I would have to contact head office to see if I would be able to get points back. This is not the first time that I have had issues with Pet Smart. For a company so big they certainly have many issues. I will never ever give pet smart my business or anyone I know that has pets ever again. I would give a minus 10 stars if I could!

Excellent selection of all products you could possibly need for your pet. The only area of improvement is availability of staff. Any time we have had questions or needed to speak with someone regarding our dog's nutritional needs... it was near to impossible to locate an employee. Their return policy is fantastic! Our dog had a reaction to the new kibble we purchased and even though we had opened the bag, we were refunded the full amount and were able to purchase a different brand.

Very disappointed! This is the first time I brought my dog in this petsmart. I usually tried his nails by myself and never bleed. I trust them to be professional and not have these problems. But the actuality is that my dog was still wet when I picked him up and his nail was bleeding because they cut the quick. And they didn't trim dewclaws. My dog gets very nervous and his body was shaking when I picked him up. I don't think they have cleaned his ears because I can still smell and see the dirt in his ears.

Went to pick up my order and there phone service states to press 3 to let them know you have arrived. I had done this 10 times and each time says this option is not available. Even the sign on there window says once you arrive call this number and extension 3. Tried that again option not available. The girl opens the door rudely says did you press 0 that leads to our store. I told heryour phone service does not have that option and your sign even says the same thing with option 3. I bought a rat from this place and they said the rats where family friendly and where very lovable I gave it 2 weeks to settle in and when I went to pet it it was very scared and it got used to me but when I tried to pick it up it was so scwermy you couldn’t even hold it and than 6 days later I tried to pet it and it turned around and bit me causing blood to draw from my hand it only got worse from there it stopped allowing us to pet it and hold it it’s going to someone I know who has birds he’s gonna give me one of his tamed rats that is a baby and not some rat that is a year old and he’s gonna feed this rat to a bird do not buy rats from here they are terrible

I have to say its a beautiful store but for the last THREE weeks there has been this horrible, shrill, high-pitched sound coming from the fish tanks while they 'wait for a part'. I have been repeatedly in the last 3 weeks and cannot even shop - I've had to leave each time. I also have concerns that that noise is distressing to the live animals they have in the store. Hopefully this review will push the chain/manager/supplier to get that part fixed.

I gave it to the cashier right off to speed things up and so she had all my information (name, number, etc). She wouldn’t look at it and instead just wanted me to say the information… then spell it… which I then again said oh, it’s right here on my card. She ignored me and asked me to spell it then check how she did on the screen. It was wrong and I said, that’s why I gave my card. She said well I didn’t know! Then she took my card for my number. She apologized to the next people in line for me inconveniencing everyone. Not there yet in TRC and treating human beings well.

No customer care or service from manager. I’ve had a couple of misfortunes with this store. However, after placing a small ordering online, receiving confirmation and waiting the parking lot for 2 hours. I’m writing this review. I placed the order at 1pm, arrived to the store on Bayfield street at 2pm. ..and proceeded to wait another 2 hours, ( We live out of town and this seemed to be most cost effective for us at the time). During my wait time I contacted the store and talked with the manager multiple times requesting a resolution, and receipt of purchase. I watched employees take smoke breaks, change shifts, and at times there were no customers (sometimes for 20 minute periods, other than us...waiting). During my third plea for the purchase, the manager hung up on me. When asked if he would prefer me to cancel my order or process it, he replied cancel. There was no one in the parking lot but me! After 3.5 hours since original confirmation I did leave. They won- I did not receive my order. The 3-5 minutes it would have and could have taken them to deliver my small order was insignificant to them. I will not return to this store and would encourage others to seek pet needs elsewhere. The south end has an amazing team on hand. I understand these times are unprecedented but there were many breaks in my waiting period in which my order could have been processed. Very saddened by this treatment. Very disappointed.

Great fish. The staff is always there to help right away when you need it. Great selection on cat and dog items. Seem to always have rats for pets. I would recommend this place. Also i like there large viewing window for the grooming part.

I have shopped at this Petsmart before with no problem. The cash line up was half way down the store. Another customer asked an employee if they could open another cash. The response was no. And then the employee walked away. So we waited at least 10 to 15 min. There was a customer holding the line up. Arguing with the cashier. No one came to help the cashier.

Not a fan of their policies with pet grooming. I understand everyone needs to be accountable but I've had my dogs nails done at other places as walk -in but this location needs all records. Little extreme for a bath and nails considering the price they now charge. Thought I'd give them a shot at grooming this specific breed since my location is close but I guess I don't have to worry about it. 20 min drive may save me some grief in the long run.

I have a large cat that needs grooming he's 25 to 30 lbs fixed male cat 5 years old keeps matting fur on the back and cannot clean himself properly so got stuff stuck to rear end how much would it be to get him groomed

Been using this place for all my animals food for over 10 years. And now because I don't have a credit card I cant order my dogs food. Not everyone has a credit card. Im disgusted by the lack of payment options on ordering. U will be loosing my business even after this is over. Anyone having same problem call pet value. There more then happy to take phone orders and pay by debit at door.

This is my rating of my experience on Saturday Aug 26th in Barrie. Went 30 mins out of my way to this location and purchased 61 cans of dog food (I was so happy since I never got more than 24 or 30 at a time due to low supply)and drove 30 minutes to Orillia. Opened the can to feed my dog and the "wet food" was very dry. Checked the "best before" date and most of them had August 29th on them. I had to go back and return 54 cans. They didn't even ask why. I was not very impressed and hope they would not have products that expires in a few days unless it is marked down and labelled properly. I would not buy 61 cans even for half the price. Once again this rating is based on one experience.
