Just picked up my baby boy Benz today from Kat and let me say very educated there and you can tell she is about the welfare of her animals and not the dollar sign. She handles and basic trains all her pets and makes sure they are ready to go to their forever homes. I absolutely love my Ferret and would definitely buy another pet from Kat's. I will definitely be supporting her store for any pet related product I need !

I just got my dauters gerbils here today. And they were the only place in Barrie that had them!there was great service and the gerbils are happy, heathy,friendly and sleeping right now. So overall it's really good pet store and I recommend it to any one looking for pet supplise small animals and birds

So glad I tried this place out. A few months ago I went in trying to find a better quality food for my cats and Kat was very knowledgeable and friendly, she helped me find a great food in my price range and my cats allergies have cleared up and I notice a difference in both of their health. Since my first visit I have never been disappointed in the quality of products and service. Absolutely recommend this store, goes above and beyond the chain pet stores and pet sections in big box stores. From their great service, excellent products and efforts to serve everyone during a global pandemic, I can't say anything negative about this place! :)

My name is Joe Davis. I had decided to support a local business as I have been degraded by many corporations, being harassed about wearing a mask countless times, despite the fact that I have stated about my exemption I entered Kats pets with the intent to support this local business, and yet again, I was asked about a mask to which I stated about my exemption and that I just needed my cat litter. They then told me I can stand at the front of the store because I don't have a mask and they will get it for me. I refused this offer and asked where their cat litter is. I was ignored my every attempt to ask about their products. This is a violation of the human rights code, in which I have been degredated and treated differently as a human for... no reason. Please update your policy, realizing that you're not even supposed to ask people about a mask.

Wonderful atmosphere! Staff is very helpful and knowledable. Recently switched my newly adopted kitten to a food recommended by Kat and smooth sailing! The foods and products they sell are of great quality too! Knowing I'm feeding my kitten good, healthy food makes me happy. The pets they do sell are also hand raised and well taken care of! Great prices and great service all around. Definitely the only pet store I'll go to.

Great customer service! A bit pricey if you're used to getting food at Walmart or no frills but it's better quality. This place had lots of selection for cats! If you have a dog they also have lots to offer, as well as bunny food, ferret, hamster, bird etc.

We love this pet store! We get all our bird food and bird treats from them. And if we find something online that they don't carry they happily order it in for us and it is cheaper than if we ordered on our own! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. During this pandemic I've been trying my hardest to help out and buy from the smaller businesses. Unfortunately I was made to feel unwelcome within 2 minutes of walking through the door. I left immediately and won't be returning. PetsMart it is until I can hopefully come across another smaller business for my needs.

Bought some booties from Kats about two months ago and although the store is smaller than big business pet stores, there was still lots of unique selection for treats and whatnot! I was pretty impressed and we were offered help a few times which was awesome. They seem to take good care of their little pets too and they all seemed happy and healthy. The lady who helped us (maybe the owner?) was super kind and friendly.

We went away for a week at the beginning of May and Kat took care of our two chinchillas for 10 days in total. Everything went wonderfully smooth! The drop off and pick up could not have been easier! Kat is VERY knowledgeable and caring and took her time to go over all the ins and outs involved with boarding the two of them for the week. The transition home was very smooth and we had no problems after picking them up! Would absolutely recommend Kat to anyone looking to board their beloved pet. We definitely had a less stressful vacation knowing they were in such good hands and we feel so much better knowing we have a safe and loving place for them next time we travel .

The best pet store for service i have ever been to.. sifting threw thousands of crickets just so i can feed my little sling and it worked!! He was finally able to eat something his size.. thank u very much and for my special order for things that hard to come by. I won't be buying my feeders from anywhere else.
