Very expensive. Make sure you look at your receipt after purchase. The item charged was more than the advertised price. Difference was $1.61 so the cashier asked me to pick another item worth that amount. However, I only wanted the difference back. He seemed reluctant and he ended up only returning $1.50!

Only two grocers in town so, not much you can add to this. Most of the staples are available here. They seem to put the people through fast enough when it is busy.

We've been going to this supermarket since 1991 and have seen it evolve and change over the years. Its adequate for the most part. Only mild confidence in their fresh produce and the meat department does not really have the best quality in terms of cuts etc. Recently with covid, they have taken to spraying your hands with disinfectant at the entrance, but I bring my own wipes now or wear gloves mainly because the product they use reeks like dirty gym socks. The staff are friendly enough and they often have more flexible store hours compared the competition, especially over holidays.

Good little market - almost never need to line up. A few items are notably cheaper at IGA and to be fair vice versa but generally a bit more here. Sometimes you gotta do the double (hit both) to get what you need. Sometimes IGA is a no go when a bus load of folks show up. In which case, I recommend Nesters.

Worst grocery store experience of my life! Old lady ringing me through was extremely rude. She made it clear that I was bothering her by being there. I was So clearly an inconvenience to her. I’ve not left a negative review many time in my life but I left here feeling truly upset by the way I was treated by this cashier. If you want to be treated like a “less then human’ then I highly recommend shopping here.

Vegan game is on point here. So many different items for a small location. There was free Gusta samples a while. Vegan cashew cheesecake, Silk milk, Daiya pizzas, vegan yogurt, and many other things here now. When I lived here I was told that this is where the locals prefer to shop! Not sure if that is why I ended up shopping there over Safeway or because it was closer haha but it is a good little grocery store.

Between extortionate prices and often rude service, sadly you can only choose between Nester's or IGA here in town. Both garbage options if you ask me. Who would ever pay 14.99 for a block of cheese that costs 5.99 anywhere else in Canada? When you have so many locals here, you need to have a constant 20% discount for them, everyday. Show them respect because these people are the reason the owner of Nester's gets rich, and the staff stay poor.

Good variety of products, some items are better priced here than in other large stores in town, some are more expensive. I would recommend comparing prices if on a budget. In general the store is clean, products fresh and less busy than other large stores in town.

Really not liking the new "rewards" program. Absolutely not user friendly, and a hassle to link the app with a physical card. The app 'works' maybe half the time, but other features don't work at all (viewing flyers, linking physical cards). Generally a good selection, although shelves are hardly ever "faced" (especially the yogurts) and have had to step on the side fridge to get something out of the back- and then was yelled at by an older man that worked there... Just saying if the shelves were faced properly like in other stores I wouldn't have had to do that.

Robinson's Foods Market is the best for stocking up in Jasper. The have veggies and fruits. Just look at there adds for the week to get a good deal. The things I picked up we're fresh. Somethings the price are high but it's a long truck ride to the shelf. The have good meats, can goods, fresh breads. But ice cream for the freezer. They are a full service groceries store. If you are going south to Lake Louise stock up here. It's your going South to Banff it's the last good stop.

Took me a while to recall what this place is. For those people who cling on to old memories, this supermarket is known as Kelley's. I like shopping here because it is less busy. The other place the parking lot is like a zoo. A quiet market to visit on any nights we camp, to pick up little things we forget to pack. I highly recommend this place.

Nesters and IGA are the grocery stores in Banff. Nesters actually takes a bit more searching to find than IGA. It's quaint inside. We got some really nice reusable shopping bags here. Eco-friendly. Highly recommend getting those bags.

I’m not sure how it’s appropriate for the door greeter who is supposedly sanitizing our carts and baskets to not wear a proper mask. There is countless amounts of studies that show face shields can’t do anything. If I can see your whole bare face (minus the tiny part of her face that gets covered by plexiglass) then you are definitely not wearing a mask and should definitely not be the one sanitizing or dealing with other peoples food while cases in Banff are skyrocketing.

I came into this store a couple times on my last ski trip to Jasper. But the last time I went in, it was memorable. I went into the store to find some disinfecting wipes but they were all sold out. I went to the meat counter and I pointed at a Lysol cannister and asked the store manager if they carried anymore of it but unfortunately they were sold out. After I explained my puppy had a vomit disaster in the car he just gave it to me. Fantastic customer service!

I do have to say this is a fantastic store and it has great produce and lots of selection. It's also a nice looking place as well and for that I do give them credit. One thing I find interesting is how they boast about this is where the locals shop... yet they do not offer a locals discount like most other places. Its fine... everything is pretty much the same as Robinsons it replaced except the hot foods. There is none. They are all cold pre-packaged yucky food. Seriously miss Robinsons chicken wings and ribs! They were our go to food every time we came to Jasper (about 4 times/year), or even passed by Jasper to head elsewhere. Pretty sure it sold well too because you showed up too late and it was all gone. Even my super food picky Brazilian family enjoyed it when we brought them over. Unfortunately Nesters didn't continue it ????. We were very sad to say bye to our little tradition.

Small market with lots of options. I walked through the store and they got pretty decent selection of stuff. I’m from out of town and was looking for ice and a styrofoam cooler. They got both at a good price. Prices weren’t outrageous and was actually pretty decent. I bought some fruit that taste great. I saw that they got lychee but. My own grocery store in Pittsburgh don’t even got those. Great market and there’s a parking lot right next to it.

Good, clean (and I believe the only) place to do your grocery in Jasper. Great variety of products. Compared to Lake Louise, prices are much more reasonable, but I still would not consider the products as cheap either. If you are driving to Lake Louise from Jasper and planning to stay in Lake Louise for a while, make sure you buy your grocery in Jasper or you will regret it (or you might consider going to Banff for your groceries).

Selection on convenience Reached out to them on-line before arriving for a delivery late in the day. Really easy to work with on line, they called to confirm payment, and the 'large' delivery was in our hotel lobby ater 10:00 pm when we arrived. Quality and supportative in delivery. Very disappointed with extremely rude staff. An elderly caucasian looking lady in the cashier shouted ‘STAY AWAY!!!’ in a raised voiced to me and my mom as we were going to her till. I understand that we have to keep distance until the previous customer had left the till but I saw that the previous customer was out to the exit. If she had to disinfect her till, she could have told us politely as a civilized person will do instead of shouting. I had to go to another till and thank goodness the other lady had proper customer service skills. Please remind your staffs about proper customer service as one negative incident can reflect to the entirety of your establishment.

Popped in for a bag of chips and came out with a much better option, veggies and dip, cheese and pepperettes. Little grocery story with lots of great options, some fresh vegetables, milk, juice, cheese, frozen foods. They have a small section of Canadian made foods (mainly maple syrup and honey) if you’re looking for a gift.

Other people’s safety during this time is not a concern to anyone here. Their door greeter who does not wear mask, only wears a face shield which covers just about nothing “sanitizes” all of the baskets and carts but continues to breathe directly on them because of her lack of a mask. She is the last person I would want around my groceries and considering she stands less than 6 feet away from everyone, that’s just not right.

There are two mid-size supermarkets in Banff. Nestors wins hand-down on the deli counter & the fresh bread. Whilst service at the deli counter can be a bit iffy, there’s no doubting the quality & range of products on offer. We were particularly fond of the spinach twisters (like Greek spanakopita), the Cornish pasties & the chicken & veg pies were also great value. The only negative was the hot Indian takeaway food just wasn’t heated enough despite saying we had no reheat option at our hotel. The fresh breadsticks were also excellent (we ate several!) – crisp & crusty unlike most soft & soggy north American bread.

Best supermarket in Banff. Of course it's a bit pricy but it's Banff after all. There are always some good items on special which helps making something delicious for less. I have experienced the staff as very friendly and helpful. The bakery and deli (although small) are also nice to have in town.

I just wanted to give a big shout out to Ahmed working the meat counter today. Previously your store sold pre packaged bacon pieces that were perfect for rendering fat. This item was no longer in stock but Ahmed had an idea of some bacon scraps he saw in the back. He brought it out to check to see if it was what I was looking for, and then checked with his manager to make sure it was OK for him to sell it to me. He packaged it up and sold it to me for a fair and honest price. Thank You Ahmed. Definition of service you expect from a small town grocer. Definitely comming back to you guys!

Family owned and operated grocery store that been in Jasper since 1923. We stopped for a picnic lunch to go and enjoyed the good selections. Deli lunches can be ore-ordered at the Service Desk, or if you just need lunch for two, they are sold at the counter. A clean, modern store and plenty of parking makes this a good choice for groceries or just a quick run-in like we did.

Fun little supermarket with all your needs right in Jasper. I found some prices a but high but overall reasonable enough. Check it out. I have come back to edit this review to mention the fellow in the deli dept packaged the sliced meat in such a distinct fashion that I am so impressed. (It literally was packaged in a perfect square as if it were a handcrafted envelope). Little details get my attention. The cashier did an amazing job as well by managing to carefully pack all my groceries into one reusable bag.

Bought a six pack of soda and was charged for two, but didn’t realize until I got back to the hotel. Shopped there the next day and told the cashier (w/ receipt) about the overcharge, but was told his manager was on break and I would have to wait or come back for a refund. I don’t know if they were trying to scam a tourist, but I do think it was ridiculous they wanted me to come back a THIRD time for a $6+ overcharge. I didn’t have time to come back and I never received a refund.

Great food! The cashiers and doormen are all verry friendly. But the women at the deli service are so rude its unreal. You pretty much have to yell at them for help and then they just stand in the back and expect u to scream what you want. Ive never heard people talk so rude and unprofessional in my life.

After the supermarket changed from Robinson to Nesters Market, I realized the food quality worse than before and it's more expensive. I bought a bag of Potatoes from Nester today, most of them are uneatable like the picture...
