Fast & prompt service. Food was delicious. We've tried a few of the fish & seafood options this summer. Fries are very tasty/crisp as well. Kids enjoy the children's fish & chips option each time. Prices are fair. Note: they take cash & debit only.

Oradered and picked up takeout for the first time..The fries were old and stiff, couldn't eat them and the fish was so greasy both of our meals were uneatable gave us both instant stomach aches from all the grease... wasted my money for 2 meals, sorry but to greasy to eat and couldn't eat the dried up fries...

Joanne, Dave and staff are amazing. Fish is always cooked perfectly, salad sizes are on point. Always a fresh brewed pot of coffee on and its a great cup. I love the service, the food , and the prices are very reasonable. The portions are huge. Stop here for the best fish in town.

We live in Stirling, but honestly, the fish and chips here is worth the drive. The fish is always perfectly cooked, batter is not too heavy or thick, and the home fries are always hot and crispy outside and fluffy in. Good coleslaw too, creamy and not too vinegary. Great customer service as well. I've recently had to go gluten free and it can be a challenge. Cottage Country Fish & Chips not only specially pan fried my fish at my request, they made it one of the best fish dinners I've ever eaten! Thank you again! :) If you're looking for great fish in a cosy, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere, check this place out.

They have multiple types of fish to choose from, I went with cod and was really happy! The batter is crispy and amazing, fish was cooked perfect, and fries were great! Would definitely go again!

First of all, the service was excellent! We had whitefish and two types of poutine. Who would have thought that in addition to the amazing fish, this place makes world class poutine! Thank you for the experience. We loved it and we will be back.

Restaurant was very clean and nice decor, the FOOD was absolutely AMAZING!!! Best fish & chips I’ve ever had. The batter on the fish was so light and crispy and the poutine was fantastic!! Will be going back again soon!!

The fish was good but the tarter sauce was very cheap and tasted like vinegar. Fries were very dry and stiff. Defintely a gmo potato.

I ordered plain white fish and chips and my wife ordered shrimp and chips. Batter was light and crispy and there was no greasy taste. Order was quick to arrive and the taste was excellent. Our server was pleasant and helpful. The eating area was uncluttered, clean and nicely decorated. Washroom was clean. All Covid protocols were in place and followed. We enjoyed an overall delightful lunch experience.

Passing through town stopped in for lunch. Ordered the white fish. Incredible. The lady serving me was friendly and shared her love of decoration. She keeps up 2 Christmas trees all year and seasonally decorates them - beautiful. Great place to stop for a bite to eat and friendly conversation.
