Perogies were sinkers!! Not a lot of slim diners. If you want a tasty meal this is a good alternative to the boring food stops in Bancroft.

Absolutely love this place. The servers were very polite and orders were taken efficiently, arrived in reasonable time and as requested/expected menus. Even the place was full and they looked busy. Food was good, but could have been better, my potatoes felt stale. For the cost, I believe was reasonable compare to rest of Ontario. Certainly recommend this place for bites.

The food is perfect. Fresh huge portions. Had the Turkey dinner, liver and onions and hot turkey sandwich. Decent prices. If I were to give one critique it would be, we had not half finished our apps when the waitress was bringing us mains. Not good. The small diner size tables made for little or no room. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place.

Excellent food, great friendly service, and safely set up due to covid. This is the first time we went inside a restaurant in months and we felt perfectly safe. We will go back again. Highly recommended. And try the Mexican quesadilla if you are really hungry!

Always a great place to go. It feels like home and that your among friends. It's almost impossible to feel out of place or unwelcomed while at Cafe Bc in Bancroft ont. The food is amazing no matter what time of day,week,month or year!!. I've never had a bad dish always look forward to getting my food. I know it's going to be delicious. Not only is the food awesome so is the staff they're the glue that holds it together. Without their warming welcome and great service I just dont think it would be the same place. It's a must go to while your visiting Bancroft ont.

We went there because of reviews we read on trip advisor. The food was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and pleasant. Place was very busy food was fast but we certainly did not feel rushed. Had German schnitzel, Apple cranberry salad with chicken. Excellent.

I had the steak sandwich special. It was very greasy and the mozzarella cheese was just a slice on top not melted. I just ate the meat as the bun was full of grease. The waitress was very pleasant. Very disappointed in the meal. I won't be back, too greasy for me.

My husband and I ate breakfast there, got their special, which was eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns. It was delicious and hot. The coffee was good, and the service prompt. The atmosphere is like a diner, but was clean and bright, and I saw the good sign of "locals" that ate there.

The fish and chips were really good! I even enjoy the coleslaw which usually I set aside. My husband got the sticky combo which consisted of ribs and wings with your choice of sauce. The Caesar salad was awesome the period. The waitresses are absolutely the highlight of this small cafe! Absolutely wonderful experience.

Wonderful food. As a young kid we would visit Bancroft with the family. My grandparents always stopped here. I hadn’t been back to Canada for a very long time. My grandparents are no longer here, but I’m happy this place is. It’s a small, quiet and cozy spot. The food is good, old fashioned stuff. The turkey and gravy platter is excellent. And I don’t get to have peameal back home in Ohio, so it’s always a real treat to order some here. Great memories here, and great food.

The restaurant is family run and the service is excellent and take pride in the place. The menu is simple but you will still be pleased with all the options. Of note they are licensed and have beer and wine. Service was great and staff usper friendly. Everything is nice and clean.

Prompt friendly service. My partner and I both had the Blue's salad, and shared a side order of sweet potato fries. The salad was perfect for a light meal, with lots of interesting ingredients like blueberries, walnuts and goats cheese. Sweet potato fries were the best I've ever eaten. Blueberry pie for dessert was to die for. They always have several homemade pies on the menu. I hear the rhubarb pie is also great but alas today was not on the menu.

Amazing food, they are open 8am to 8pm will all day breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. She even told us about a few places around and about. The place feels very cozy and we were staying by the elephant lake and the drive from there to this place is breathtaking.

This is an unusual encounter in such a rural area. It seems to be very popular especially on weekends. The restaurant serves a mixed variation of German/Polish like cuisine with quality ingredients and distinctive taste features. Food is a plentiful for very affordable price but the meals may not be for everyone taste-wise. Overall, if you like that style of food you will enjoy the place.

It was ok. I ordered a turkey club and onion rings. It came to us fast but my club had dark turkey meat and a few chunks of cartilage in it and the onions rings were stuck together in clumps. Probably wont go again.

Fast and friendly service. I was there with another friend. We rode the trails up to this restaurant from Tweed. Kinda pricey but I know I will go back again. Covid safety is well done. Plastic dividers between tables and staff wear masks.

After asking around for a place to eat were told about this little eatery. We came in to a welcoming staff, our waitress was pleasant and efficient. Where this restaurant stood out was the quality and quantity of food. We had the hot roast beef in a Yorkshire bowl with mashed potatoes topped with fried onions. Now I don't know where they were hiding my grandmother but it was if I had gone back in time and was eating Sunday dinner at her house. Rarely can a food inspire such a memory but I am happy for a wonderful culinary experience and highly recommend this restaurant to all...

Cutlery could be of better quality/cleanliness. Price was reasonable. Coffee price is not on the menu, it's $2 bottom less with breakfast
