Really good prices, but they really need to take better care of their tanks. All their fresh water tanks were infected with BBA or Cyanobacteria. Most of their salt waters had various algea and obvious signs of balancing issues. Other than that the staff was pretty friendly and they did have some interesting salt water stock.

Friendly staff and large, populated tanks (mostly in the back) made the experience pretty nice. Unfortunately a lot of the fish are living in poor living conditions: tons of brown, black, green, and hair algae covering most of the tanks, cracks in the fish tanks just sealed with silicone still compromises the tanks in their structural integrity. Many of the Betta fish were incredibly well-selected and beautiful, but the cleanliness and lack of upkeep in the tanks made me question how long they'd last in a new tank.

Tropical fish is by far the best pet store lethridge has to offer , biggest selection of fresh and salt water fish a lot of rare and unique fish , plants , coral , always has great deals on everything in stock , also a large selection of frozen , dry food and accessories the owner always is full of great knowledge and help if you ever have any problems along the way 10/10 would recommend to check this store out !

Strange place, but has a wide variety of fish. Larger species are in the back of the store, and there's a few snakes located at the front end. Very neat.

Went there the other day to pick up a couple fish. Did not feel like I was being pushed to buy something, The staff were VERY Knowledgeable! They asked the right questions and made sure that I knew what I was doing. Very nice, organized shop! Definitely make this place a stop if you need to get any Freshwater Tropical's, Great selection!!!

Wonderful and very knowledgeable staff, picked up a frog here. He's got a great,active personality and is a beautiful albino variation. All of the tanks are very well established and the fish and other animals are very healthy. Good selection of tanks and supplies for those in need and they've got plenty for scaping and decking out your tank. I found that many of the tanks had plenty of ref algae growth though and that was vaguely concerning. Otherwise, beautiful fish and great store.

Owner of this store has made it his life, and took over from the original owner who passed. He loves the shop and all the fish and knows how to keep them. I have shopped here for years, and own both fresh and salt water fish etc. Few know anything about salt water critters, and this is the place to find them! Keep him in business, as it is well worth it! !

Good selection of healthy fish, mostly freshwater but they do have some salt water in stock. The staff are friendly and try their best to help out, but it seems the owner is the most knowledgeable about the fish they keep in stock. I suggest googling the type of fish you want prior to your visit to see if it's compatible with other species in your tank and the water parameters they require.

They do have a very good selection of fish, but the survival rate is horrible once they get home. I bought a bunch of fish from here and all but 1 died, whereas I have very little die off from other stores. Their return policy for fish is the worst win town. He will replace the fish one time and that’s it, even if your water is perfect. All the other stores in town give you 7 days when you buy a fish and a new 7 days if a fish dies and you get a replacement. The aquariums need some serious cleaning. There is more algae mass than fish mass in their aquariums. There are aquariums held together by silicon. There are quite often dead fish floating around. Basically, I highly recommend going elsewhere. I loved this place under the last owner, but not anymore. The care for the fish and the customer has gone down. Only go here if you are needing unique fish.

Clown fish, sharks, oscars, star fish, live coral and more. Big selection of tanks, filters, and everything else you would need. This is my go-to place now for all my fish aquarium needs.

I definitely recommend this store. We came from out of town and decided to check this place out. The prices are great and you can't buy these fish in medicine hat, it's worth the travel. The gentleman was knowlagable, helpful and kind. If anyone passes through Lethbridge i would recommend everyone to stop and check out the store. Its worth it for the fish that are harder to find. I will definitely be stopping here again, I'm very impressed at the variety and helpfulness we recieved. This guy deserves a 5 star rating. Its worth the travel for sure, and my fish are doing fantastic! Please check it out!
