I have nothing good to say about this location. Management is a joke and most of the staff are incredibly unprofessional and untrained. I stopped supporting this location after multiple instances of price jacking (by Up to 200%!), poor customer service, and sick animals. I was sold a reptile with yellow fungus (an incredibly contagious fungus that has no cure and is ultimately fatal) and was not notified by the staff, but came to the realization myself after seeing a sign on the tank and asking an employee who replied with “yeah they all have yellow fungus, they’re all just kind of dying off” with a shrug: putting every customers reptile and every other reptile in the store at risk of contact. Employees are misinformed of appropriate husbandry for reptiles, and most times sit at the back on their phones or chatting amongst themselves. Do not support this location.

Unfortunately the no bark e-collar didn't work on my 1 year and 6 month old male Great Dane even when I shaved a little of his neck fur. I kinda need this when his sister goes into heat, and I keep them separated (one upstairs the other downstairs while in heat). The staff was more than cordial to provide a full refund. It would be nice if they had the stronger strengths and a couple e-collar options with the remote.

I really like the fish collection but the person at the fish service was very rude to us. We were trying to set up the fish tank for the first time we had some first time questions which she answered very rudely. I would give 3/5 only for the person at the fish service. Other than that I love their fish collection.

I rate this pet store a little bit on the lower side just due to the fact that with such a large city it is such a tiny and restricted store. The staff are definitely friendly and the location is a bit unique to get in and out of. Prices are what you would be expecting for the selection that's available in for the distance from any real major center and hub of activity. Final thoughts that it is a clean store, friendly staff and about as well-stocked as you can be for the size of the store itself.

Friendly staff and a variety of items inside the store. I enjoy going here with my pup to pick out some treats from the bulk section - I love the bulk section I just wish they had a scale for weighing. One main issue I have with this store is they are very expensive, many of the items are cheaper at Pet Valu. Also, they were selling poop bags for close to $9, the EXACT SAME package of bags I had just previously purchased for $2 at Dollarama. They sell live animals, besides fish I don't agree with that. I did not see any puppies for sale and I don't believe they had a spot for them either so that it's good.

I have a 100 gallon tank, 2 cats and a bulldog. I was buying all my animal stuff here. For the last three months their debit machine declines my rbc card. The keep saying its the banks fault. I am now going to petsmart. I'm not going to make an extra stop for cash to give them my service.

phoned me once about my leopard gecko to check up on it And then told them I’ll call back when I had time . And called them back and explained why I was calling if any one their had known who called or if any one can help me ! They guy that answered the phone said I can put you through to the reptile station. I waited 15 minutes and then hung up on me . When I had bought my baby at the time she didn’t have any water nor calcium and only one hide . I don’t no if they had any heating pads but wasn’t right .

Much better advice. Very knowledgeable person in the fish department. Fish are a bit more pricey than their competition but you can tell they are healthier. Also a 30 day guarantee over a 14 day. Edit: make sure you quarantine fish when purchased from here. I'm dealing with cammalanus worm which most likely means their entire aquarium section is infested.

Petland! I love this pet store. They are the only store that carries my choice of pet food for our food sensitive pups. The employees are usually full of happiness and have an outgoing vibe. The selection of animal products and accessories is endless and it's well stocked whenever I've stopped by for a bag of dog food. Parking is usually busy and may take a few minutes to find a stall. Price wise, it's fairly competitive with other pet stores and I'd definitely buy from here again.

Employees all over the place and the fish section closed for hours while one person unloads fish? If I could post the picture I would, but I came into pet land today looking for some fish. In the black goldfish tank there’s was a dead fish that had been covered in white fuzz and looked like it was moulding, then I went to look at the beta tank and several were dead and about to die. Idk if these employees are neglecting them but clearly the tanks need more attention.

Few months back I purchased a brush for my dog. It was too hard for her little skin she is only 4 and a half pounds. I returned it two weeks after I purchased it and me of course couldn’t find the recite. I would of got a different one but the cashier went in to speak to the manager which I should say never even came out to speak to me came back out and said we can’t return it. Therefore I will never and had never went back inside there doors. Shame on you treating your costumes like that. Pet Smart is where I shop now. Forgot to say the tag was on the brush so they new it was there’s.

If I could post no stars I would. Terrible at caring for their fish tanks. Just went into the Beta fish area and saw ALL of the small tanks we’re disgusting. They had obviously not been cleaned in weeks. If you’re going to sell that type of animal, at least take the time to care for them- or train your staff to not be so lazy. Extremely disappointed in this store. Will NOT recommend. I even took photos of all of them but there was no option to post how bad they were.
