As a first time reefer, New Dawn Aquaculture was incredibly helpful in giving me the advice and insight needed to be successful with my first corals. I asked MANY questions and Mitchell answered every single one respectfully and quickly! I wasn't paying for just the corals, but also his expertise. The frags were appropriately sized given their prices, which are on par with other Canadian retailers, if not cheaper. I didn't observe any pests, only copepods fell off when I dipped. The packaging was excellent, with an outter cardboard box and inner styofoam box with heat packs. Your order will come in plastic heat-seal bags, so leaking is practically impossible. So far, all my corals are doing well and displaying excellent polyp extension. Even though the Xenia frag I got melted away, I was given a refund when I asked for help (I didn't even ask for the refund directly!). It shows that they are honest sellers. Excellent customer service and healthy corals, healthy inverts! I highly recommend :)

You will not be disappointed ordering with him and what you receive will look like the picture you judged your order off of. Purchased fish, inverts and a gsp frag online, and had it delivered to Ontario. Great experience! Everything is very healthy. Their packaging was really good! Everything was packed in individual containers, making acclimation a breeze if needed. Fish were all alert, and have been doing well so far. Would love to buy from you guys again! Hope you also introduce even more captive bred fish options online. Easily the safest and cleanest online fish and coral option in Canada.

New Dawn Aquaculture is definitely my favourite marine store. Every time I have ordered (5 or 6 times now), this place has brought me fish that are healthy and have been genuinely cared for. His inverts are always active and well sized. Furthermore, I believe that running a tank with captive bred fish or corals is much safer (less parasite risk for your tank) and keeps wild fish in the oceans. The owner is very knowledgeable. Anytime I have an issue I can rely on him to give me sound advice. He genuinely has a passion for his job and is happy to talk about potential problems or help me learning about a new fish or coral. When I have ordered a fish and then had an issue in my tank before I got it; he was more than happy to hold my order to ensure that my tank was back to running properly and the fish have the best chances of thriving when I get them. This place has definitely become somewhere I shop for my tank all the time. Anyone who is thinking of ordering would not be disappointed with the service, care, or professionalism and advice that New Dawn Aquaculture offers.

Excellent source for captive bred marine fish. We should all help to reduce ornamental fish caught from the wild. Got a beautiful and healthy mandarin dragonette and it has settled into my tank very quickly. Customer service and Mitchell's attention to detail is top notch. Livestock shipping quality is superior with the use of durable containers instead of plastic bags. I have had a perfect experience and will continue to order from this store.

The coral I received contained no pests and the coral frags were very large and healthy. The website says the zoanthids come with at least 3 heads, and the frag I received had over 20! and the acro I received was completely healed over the plug and had 9 branches, I couldn't believe it and am beyond happy. Mitchell has also been making YouTube videos about coral I never expected I would be interested in, but after watching some of his videos I had to order some. I have placed two orders and cant wait to order more. I believe NDA is doing it the right sustainable way and I really hope this company grows.
