First time here. Awesome, friendly service. The food was fantastic, especially the garlic fries. We were impressed with the huge servings and nice presentation. Definitely will go back.

We ordered coconut curry with cod and shrimp, the waiting time was exactly what was told to us. Love the taste and portion was more than enough. It was worth paying keeping in view the quality and quantity. Will come back again. Thank you

(Ordered via SKIP) In case you're wondering, yes this is the same business as Joey's Only but it's had a rebrand and a facelift. As far as I know, it is not under the same management as the previous Camrose location. Now, for the food. Food was fine but not quite worth the cost. I ordered the Shrimp Feast w/ a garden salad and "Volcano Fries". Shrimp (Cajun style): Good flavour! I got the half pound for an extra 2 dollars, but unfortunately that's on top of a $20 be cost. The upsize is recommended if you're ordering this but the portion sizes feel hard to call generous at this price. Volcano Fries (Do not order): Steer clear of this one. This is an extra $4 and while the fresh jalapenos are nice, the addition of jalapenos and a small amount of a chipotle sauce DOES NOT MAKE THIS WORTH IT. Might be a fine side dish if the price was reduced and more sauce was added, or else, put more toppings on and make it worth a $4 price bump. Garden salad: Not much to complain about but not much to love. Comes with your standard salad toppings (cucumber, carrot, onion, and finely diced tomatoes). Small but decent selection of dressing (probably Kraft). Overall, food was fine. Your best bet with this place would probably be the Tuesday Fish and Chips buffet (if you're vaxxed). Otherwise, I'd say RETRO is probably still the go-to seafood place in town. Disclaimer: I know that sometimes the prices through skip do not reflect the same as in-store. I do not know if that is the case here but wanted to include the disclaimer since that is the biggest issue I had with the restaurant.

Great meal and staff. The cook/manager stopped by our table to see how our experience was. This was a classy touch!

First time ordering there was pretty outrageously priced for 10 pieces of cod. And now just tonight called to place an order for pick-up at 8:25pm and the lady who answered said "actually were closing" I said "you guys are supposed to be open until 9pm, at least that's what Google says and your door and flyers I'm sure" she said nope were closing. So ya, so done trying to eat at this place.

The food was fantastic, portions are beyond generous. I really commend the staff who are following the protocols administered via AHS, I feel bad for those who think it is the responsibility of the restaurant to constantly be telling self entitled people who don't listen to the news that is it mandated policies. The staff are super friendly and I truly appreciated all of the staff working together to make a person's visit and enjoyable one.... way to go guys I can not wait to come back for a dine in night.

Simply delicious even as forced take out. We called ahead about all u can eat. Dine in only. Get there and refused to dine in for all u can eat! They didn't tell us that if you don't or can't prove you are vaccinated for covid you can't eat there. When someone calls in for your hours and cost of the all u can eat would it not make sense to tell the customer no prove of vaccine no dining? We have no problem supporting local restaurants with great food. Would it not be unfair discrimination. Showed up ready to eat brought our wallets and appetites? I truly understand the safety for all people but... Perhaps have a covid 19 special for people that cannot be vaccinated. Some choices to not vaccinate might be health issues or just simply totally out of someone's control if say...They were born that way! Just maybe have a 4pc covid special for unvaccinated people and take out or all u can eat up to 4 pcs take out. Obviously this will be the future of restaurants think outside the box. Can the future depend on drop ins in restaurants to survive? Or in smaller rural areas will restaurants close because of the majority of Un vaccinated people that have the money simply not buying? Just my personal opinion that something on your menu I can't get. P.s. Even vaccinated people are getting covid go fiqure? I don't need to dine in your restaurant with take out available but not being able to purchase something off your menu seems unfair. Just saying. In the future do your demographics seniors that have compromised systems. $29.00 verses $16.00 that's $13.00 difference? Almost twice of that that un vaccinated someone pays. In smaller rural areas families will be hit as well not vaccinated. Seniors, compromised health, born this way and children under 12 will never know the all u can eat thing? Again we appreciate your efforts to consider everyone's safety but the restrictions will effect struggling restaurants and the vulnerable community in the long run. That's my opinion and solution to accommodate everyone.

Food was fantastic, and our server Karen was very friendly and accommodating. The temperature was a little low, but I'm sure they will sort that out. Also sound carries alot in here so we could hear all the staffs conversations. All in all a good experience

Such a delicious food I had after long time. The restaurant was super crazy busy but worth the wait. Highly recommend!

Piss poor customer service. Attempted to preorder via phone and called twice 10 minutes apart. No answer. Went to restaurant. Was told 45+minute wait for a single order of fish and chips takeout. This clearly highlights poor management practices as there is a decreased seating capacity due to covid. So the kitchen was clearly not properly prepped to prepare fish and chips. As joeys does not cook their chips in the traditional twice or thrice cooked chips. Merely highlights why this business failed the first time as Joeys only seafood. They are off to a stellar start duplicating the issues that caused them to close the first time.

1st time here and definitely won't be the last. This is exactly what it is supposed to be, really well prepared traditional fish and chips. Really good tartar sauce as well. Friendly staff, a very comfortable place to eat.
