We used to love stopping here on all our trips through the pass. Sadly the last time we tried to support them the lady yelled at me for not wearing a mask in, even though I am exempt, while she stood behind the counter Not wearing a mask...So our family drove to Fernie where we stopped at an awesome cafe and they were so kind and inviting. If your in the area check out BEAN POD in Fernie!!

Do not pass by without stopping here! Wow! That's the word that will escape your lips after tasting their delicious breakfast burrito or quesadilla. The home made salsa is probably the best you'll ever have. Great service from this tiny shop next to the Petro Canada gas station. Well worth the stop.

This is by far the best fly shop in southern alberta, the staff are very knowledgeable about all things fly fishing. They will help you pick out flies that will easily land you fish every 3 casts. The people there are genuinely kind and good people who treat you like family when you walk through the door. Compared to other fly shops in the area where the service has been rude condescending and unprofessional, this one is a hidden gem. My boyfriend and I are staying here for holidays and we had THE BEST lattes here! You've got to stop into this cute and cozy spot for their great coffee. Not to mention that the baked goods we had were delicious... I could hardly choose what to have as they all sounded so good. Cookies, gluten free brownies, muffins/loafs, date squares, and they're all homemade! Friendly, smiley, and happy staff made this spot a really nice visit, especially during covid. Thank you guys! Every fishing trip to the pass we start each day with a coffee and some stories in the cafe. Today was special. My daughter joined me for her first fly fishing trip. We had a great coffee and date square then followed a tip which led her to this.

Funny how sometimes these little shops don't understand they are in the information business. Specifically said won't talk about the trips they guide. Well, people tend to spend more when they feel like they are getting good value. Whether its knowledge on a new rod/reel, what flies are working or good access points the business is about connecting to the client.

This place is terrific. Limited menu but food fresh and very good! Casual atmosphere. Also has a great selection of fishing gear. Prices are comparable to anything in Calgary. Definitely worth the stop!! Will be going back.
