Won't allow an account to be opened because of my credit score. Im sorry..... but was I asking for a loan? Or a mortgage? If I understand correctly in every credit union a member PAYS DUES to even open the account let alone use it. Are you allergic to money? I am successfully a member of 3 other credit unions without issue. Sad, this would have been my main bank seeing as I live next door.

I went in to open up an account a few months ago as I heard that credit unions have better service when compared to banks however, I didn't know that it would be an execptional experience. When I went in, I was greeted by Aftab who is an advisor at the branch. he guided me through the process of opening up the account and educated me about TFSA and RRSP's simultaneously. I was truly impressed by his work ethics and his approach towards his clients. Moreover, he was great on follow up and last week I got a call from him, asking about my well being due to COVID. I highly recommend them and really appreciate the efforts they make.
