This Financial Consultant corresponds to the category of Transit station.
Bus was 40 minutes late, and 5 'out of service' busses passed us while we waited. If there was such a delay, the least those busses could have done is stop and inform us to look for another route.
Horrible service. I got off the bus in Hamilton because I needed to return back to Toronto where I had just come from and the woman who was working at 11pm would not give me the ticket to go home because it didn’t say Toronto but it said union. Which is Toronto. She was extremely rude. I wasted another amount of fare just to go back where I came from. She was a b*tch and should be fired. Terrible. I will never take the Go ever again.
Patient staff helped me get where I needed to go.
Beautiful art deco structure in the heart of Hamilton.
Need more GO train trips during late night and afternoon!
After reading the comments, I realized that the attitude I get from the ticket attendants is just a regular thing. I try not to spend much time here..just load my presto and get on the bus. It does suck that the Go train service barely comes all the way Hamilton, but whatever.
Easy to buy tickets. Bus is clean and spacious. Drivers are helpful. I travelled with my family. I had luggage and double stroller with me.
Nice city
Beautiful bee live in this city .
This is a difficult review. The building itself is absolutely stunning, a true gem. You feel like you're in a 30's movie when stepping into this Art Deco station. Now the part where I would assign way less stars..... A Hamilton Mystery (Misery) : There are some nice solid Train Tracks.... and you have a Train Station. -this is where the mystery begins- but .... No Trains.... No, I don't count the two trains in the morning and the two trains in the evening. That is just a joke.... This transit system is a joke. Half a million people and if you want to go to Toronto you need to take the "express" (LOL) bus??? Or go to Aldershot/Burlington. How is that for modern day transit? CN/Go/CP get your act together :-(
Tyler at Greyhound was awesome!
Great place to catch your ride out to Toronto. While GO does provide stops enroute to the highway, it's best to catch it at the station. Not only do you get to see a piece of history with it's old school benches and ticket booths, but you are more likely to get a seat on the Hamilton Express to Toronto, rather than stand the whole way there.
BAD
Great services

My city is blue collar, tough and honest.
I never went here, but it looks very nice. Great photos, especially the chocolate ice cream cone picture at the cafe!
Nice building and very helpful staff
All day breakfast/ go for the Western Omlett
Go staff are great. Buses keep on schedule really well.
This Art Deco building that was refurbished in the mid 1990s. In full use by train and bus services since then. A volunteer operated historic section as a museum is above the lobby with some displays in the lobby. Some office space is rented in the tower. Washrooms, a licensed cafe, convenience store and ticketing offices are in the fully accessible lobby. The lobby has defined hours it's open. Not all the shops or offices are open the lobby hours. The trains and most buses are accessible. A taxi stand is outside the north east side (nearest the GO ticket windows). There is a ramp and and elevator for the train platform. The ramp is accessed from the east bus area. The train platform is a paid ticket area. No payments are collected on the train, either use the Presto card or buy a ticket from the machine or at the ticket window. Fare inspectors are frequent enough on the trains. Automated ticket machines for GO transit are available 24/7, don't buy if travel is more than 2 hours later. These machines are located in the bus area which is open 24/7. Some bus routes run at least hourly 24/7 such as the route that includes Pearson Airport - #40 Richmond Hill. Served by HSR, GO Transit, Greyhound and other bus services. Some HSR bus routes do not enter the station and are caught at bus stops on James St S at Hunter St W or on John St S (usually to exit.) Hamilton BikeShare has three stations nearby. Communauto has vehicles nearby. Rental car companies are about 4 blocks away. Hamilton's James Monroe Airport is a one bus ride on HSR caught from a street stop to the north west at James and Hunter.
Lots of Buses!
Location"Remember"
Good
The staff was very friendly and willing to help answer questions for someone who has never been on the GO bus before. The location could have been cleaner and the bathroom was in need of some maintenance.
One of the best go station.well maintained, clean. In addition, there is small food corner nd one shop.washrooms are also neat n clean.
Needs to be cleaner inside and staff need to be a little more welcoming and friendly.
Gets me to places
Felt at home
Provides good access to allover Ontario. The building (shelter) is clean and you can buy your ticket and snack there.
You can find snack and coffee with seating area
This is another of Hamilton's great old architecture. The inside of the Go Center has lots of old character. A must see if you like old architecture in Hamilton.
Another seldom photographed station on the lakeshore west line
Lots of space and lots of seating. There is a little kiosk for snacks and magazines, and a cafe for sit down food. GO staff are polite if not particularly friendly. Unfortunately the washrooms are pretty gross.
This was the first time using this station. My wife needed to get to Toronto for business and I was headed back home to the US on a flight from Buffalo. After an easy drive on the QEW, we entered the town of Hamilton. Then the drive turned nerve-wracking as the streets narrowed, the stop lights multiplied, and the neighborhoods became numerous. All these things made the stop and go execution painful. When we finally arrived at the GO station, we were confused because there are NO signs indicating that the Station entrance is for BOTH trains and buses. Because we were looking for the Toronto bus and could only see train tracks, we drove around the block and turned into a neighborhood looking for help. Luckily, a nice lady saw us and told us they were one in the same, and that we could park on the RIGHT side of the road in a drop-off area. There were signs, but too small to actually read while driving on the two-lane one-way street. All in all, very confusing and just too stressful. We'll use another GO station further east to avoid this next time!
Great experience.
Catching the bus or train from here is great as there are many routes. There should be a self-serving Presto machine or two, as well as more trains to Union.
(Translated) An easy-to-use service for foreigners. All very friendly (Original) Un servicio fácil de usar para los extranjeros. Todo muy amigable
Awesome new system on the bus side makes it much more exciting trying to catch a bus. The departures board indicates a "zone" which could be any one of 3 platforms that bus might go from, the only way to know for sure is to ask one of the staff (how they know but it can't go on the departures board is a mystery) or wait for the diver to start the bus up and then check the front of it. Result is lots of people wandering about looking lost.
An Art Deco beauty. Best pictures are taken from Hunter St. Another example of the wonderful old architecture Hamilton is increasingly gaining popularity amongst artists/filmmakers for. Worth a visit, great seating inside as well as a little store that offers those last minute needs before hopping a regional bus or train.
Wonderful architecture, wonderful people for a wonderful city
Place is good but taxis take up lots of space at pick up & drop off location....
Nice.... everything and everyone are nice... It's just nice, what can I say....
Good customer service, fast and easy.
Buses are a little dirty and it sux there's no bus That goes from Hamilton straight to Guelph anymore. Please bring back bus's that go straight to Guelph and back
I love this place
Beautiful building in the depths of grungy Hamilton.
Good location. But. the lady at the counter was super rude early in the morning.
Great service but I needed a drink.. I look down I'm like sweet ill get an arizona... the convenience store in the Station was like $4... I needed a drink and feel really stupid for paying it... like how do you figure charging $4 for arizona.. is it because I was wearing my Toronto shirt... completely nuts
The staff in the customer service are very bad they are very angry i don't know why
(Translated) Catastrophic. We booked this bus months ago (in February). After a few weeks we received a notification informing us that our bus was simply canceled without telling us any way to take another one. We have completed the claim form several times and have tried to contact them many times without receiving any response. We could not take the bus but we were not refunded and to date we still have no return. $ 45 gift for Greyhound ... (Original) Catastrophique.
At least it is clean and there aren't any drug user's sleeping inside. I wish that there was a machine to buy a bus ticket from... seeing as I got there after their 4:30 quitting time. Not great but not terrible.
Here to take bus to Aldershot to transfer to ZGo Train to Lakeshore longbranch, longbranch to the 123 Kipling Go Station. What a trip!

Cool cool cool cool
This day and age it should be illegal to build a public building, especially one that often has lots of people waiting around in it, without any power outlets. It took me some creative measures to find an outlet behind one of the information monitors to charge my mobile device while I waited for the next bus. This is not just a matter of convenience or courtesy, it is about safety. People need to be able to stay connected with family and friends. What if they missed a bus or train or they need to inform someone of a schedule change and they can't charge their phones? Fix this!! Also, how come the trains stop at Aldershot? Would it really cost that much more to come to Hamilton? It's ridiculous that Burlington has hourly train service into the evening yet Hamilton doesn't? Makes zero sense.
Most beautiful station in the GO Transit system. Check out the small museum upstairs if you have some time to kill while waiting for a bus or train.
Staff where very friendly and helpful. The seating was comfortably and it has a great lay out. Two thumbs up. It remind me of a mini Union station. Luv it.
Nice art deco train station.
Fairly good station. Buses usually are on time. Takes a while to take bus out of city.
staff are awesome and everything has always been on time for me
Prompt , easy access
Horrible parking structure, no places at all to park even for 2 mins to drop my kids off
I recently lost a bunch of my cards in a bus and they helped me find them in a sec! I was so happy with their friendly lost and found service :)
Staff arent helpful at all. Was mislead multiple times. Even told them I had a court date. This was 2 weeks a go.
Illegitimate fare inspection operation. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
Tourists from Calgary , Mis-informed by the #2 bus driver at the hamilton airport about being able to take the "go" bus from the main station in Hamilton . This caused us to be late at the Nash go bus stop missing our bus , causing us to be 2 hours late at the Sheraton conference centre in Niagara falls.
Great
The people working here are real friendly and there's an adequate amount of seating for most circumstances. Easy to access and move around and a small convenience store and restaurant to grab some stuff in a rush. The interior could use some updating but is entirely adequate for the a transit station. Major area for improvement would be the washrooms.
Very helpful staff and a convenient GO bus station.
I had an outstanding experience with the staff at this location. Two employees went above and beyond to help me retrieve a parcel I left behind on a train. They were both very kind, and chose to help when they did not have to - they could have told me I was out of luck, and to wait for the parcel to reach the lost and found in a few days. Instead, they took their time to return to the train and retrieve the bag. Very surprised and happy with this encounter :)
Hamilton GO center is very accessible via the Hamilton bussing services. Attendants have always been helpful. Busses are on time and depart at their posted times. Would have given 5 stars if they had some display screens outside too for busses and at least one presto card fund refilling machine.
I'm from the States and was trying to catch a bus to head to YYZ. The staff here is very helpful and the station is very clean as well. The seating set up and style has an old west feeling to it.
Helpful staff. Very convenient. Surprisingly clean.
Not bad
An amazing art deco building with a little known rail museum on the second floor. Inside the mood does seem dated but it works. GO Staff are decently friendly.
Never had a problem. Always quick and fast service.
Always shop at Canadian tire and metro on sale days
Beautiful art deco building with restaurant, convenience store and full bus and train service
Architecture is sweet
Very reliable just wish the busses ran more often. Every 15minutes rather than every 30mintues.
Great place to catch the buses and trains!
This is the best station between the two GO stations in Hamilton. Excellent, ideal location. Easy to use and all the buses go here.
I like it. Convenient location. Plus its greyhound terminal even tho they closing end of month ...edit not closing but ending service to Northern Ontario & out West.
KEEPING IT ????
Had some good experience with the staffs here
Not much here really. The Persian plate was the bezt experience I have had
The staffs at the ticket office has a bad attitude, they ignored my questions and asked me to leave. I had a terrible experience here.
Gateway to the world, at Hamilton's doorstep.
I’ve killed a lot of time in many GO stations from Ajax to Port Credit, Bramalea to Malton and many others. Compared to other stations it’s one of the best ones. Plenty of seating, convenience store, cafe. The staff have always been courteous and helpful in my experiences, but that can be said for the majority of GO workers including drivers, except for those rare few times. I can easily give this GO station 5 stars
The driver's take detours just because they don't want to be in traffic without letting anyone know...I had to walk a mile in the rain just to get where the bus should have taken me, you all really don't care about anyone just you money!!!!
clean , no line ups .Buses on time. plenty of benches to sit. a smsll variety and snack shop. and the staff were polite.
You can get lots of connection's with a combination of local buses and out of city buses and Go train.
Bad experience i lost my bag pack on Hamilton go station but they are not saying anything even they are taking too much time to get information they did not check bus its been 2 weeks
Pretty well organized and helpful staff
Hamilton is the best go bus station
Efficient station, centrally located and easy way finding.
They keep the place clean and orderly.
It’s a good station with lots of bus connections. It’s convenient getting to downtown Toronto with 20 minute express bus service although I wish the lakeshore west train would depart out of here
Lovely old building, okay snack bar, well-stocked newsstand. Staff are okay but not a lot of them. This is where NoGo introduced its bus bingo system now being used in the new Union Station terminal, although nobody locks you out here when the bus is fashionably late. Washrooms were renovated during the first lockdown. They're spotless, beautiful and you can't use them! I heartily agree with the loud, obscenity-filled expressions of disapproval voiced by some of my fellow travelers but won't quote them.
Really good station, nice set up and seating (it's a mini Union lol). The store has a lot of items in it and pretty decent coffee. They now have a couple trains that go straight through to Union without transfer which is awesome! Hope they add more of those. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of a very ignorant attendant I dealt with the first time I used Go Transit from this station. Totally lost about the fact trains actually left from there and asked for her help and she pretty much told me to refer to the screen and go away... not happy about that.
The little dinner on there is the worst place IV ever been to. The eggs were still raw. I would never recommend any one to go there. Other then that the station is great and the staff are accommodating
Jessica Revels is AWFUL, for someone who is suppose to be empathetic, she has no compassion, is judgmental and rude! Don't waste your time or money. You will leave her office crying!
There is no pricing for round trips
Taking the 16 go bus is the easiest to and from trip between cities I have taken so far! No confusion ????
Go to a Jay game with my family this Friday
Easy to navigate
Tickets prices are good.
Bad service, doesn’t care about customers, worse service
The Go centre is clean tidy and well lighted .Staffing is excellent and courteous. A well run facility.
Love Hamilton Go Centre@ 36 Hunter st. I want to see the Museum during open doors Hamilton! I always loved the trains & the sounds they make!
Shame on Go transit to remove the express bus to Toronto. More and more cars, and fewer transit options, while the exact opposite is happening. What is the point of signing paris agreement, devlare state of emergency and do absolutrly nothing to keep the few transit options that we have. Boooo!
GO drivers can really learn to be more humane. They can't even wait for 1 sec for a passenger running to their stop, even when they see it. Once they close the door that's it, no way its opening again. I've had other buses from HSR, oakville transit pick me up before the stop, if they see me running to the stop. And btw putting a NOT in Service sign on the bus display does not help, when you are driving an actual route.
The bus driver who was driving to Aldershot Go today for the 10:25 departure was absolutely rude. He sat there with the no service sign on the bus so no one knew if that was the Aldershot Go bus or not. Another lady went to ask for directions and he finally turned the sign at the top of the bus to Aldershot Go so I went to the bus. My presto didn't tap for some reason and he immediately caught an attitude. I asked if I could load my card from my app/check my app for the issue and be said "the bus was supposed to leave 3 minutes ago, you had lots of time to check your card when you were standing over there doing whatever it was you were doing" and when I brought up the fact he was sitting there with the no service sign on he said "well I have to go ma'am I don't care about your life choices". I was standing waiting for the Aldershot Go bus because this guy decided to sit there with the no service sign on and if you were supposed to leave 3 minutes ago then why were you just sitting there with the no service sign on doing nothing? No idea who hurt this guy but he really didn't need to be that rude. Change your sign next time.
Had an experience with a very rude, mocking ticket booth worker.
(Translated) Nice place (Original) Bonito lugar
Buses are usually on time.
I enjoy shopping downtown but I wish it was more affordable to live there before people who used to mock the city inflated the rent and real estate markets.
just terminal for take the bus. not much things.
I got my wallet back form the lost and found center, Thank you HSR :D
Love this place
(Translated) At least it's not cold, but there is not much wifi in the bathroom. (Original) 최소한 춥진 않은데 화장실도 별로에 와이파이도 없는거나 다름없다.
Being my first time visit, the place looks decent, less populated for which I felt in love with for possible relocation compared to Toronto that I reside now
