My experience with Jacquie was extraordinary. I was blown away by her creativity, professionalism, insight, knowledge, sense of humour, quality advice and, most of all, unwavering commitment to looking out for my best interests. I had never heard of Jacquie before I contacted her. I discovered her online. As a result, I'm taking some time to write a detailed review because if you are reading this, you are in the same situation I was in - searching for a fee-for-service CFP online. I have just completed a planning cycle with Jacquie. It was the first time I have worked with her. It is also my first experience working with a CFP to do some financial planning. By way of context about my ability to assess her work, let me say that I have significant personal and professional experience related to finance and investing, including currently working directly with several CFPs. Some examples of ways that Jacquie is superb. At the initial meeting, Jacquie was professional, friendly, warm, thoughtful and most of all, careful, curious and attentive. She took the time to genuinely get to know me, understand my situation and be clear about what I was hoping to achieve. As I drove home from the meeting, I felt a deep sense of reassurance and comfort. I just knew that my financial future and dreams for my life were in good hands. As we went through the process, every aspect of Jacquie's work was stellar. She carefully and thoroughly advised me about the various risks I needed to consider, patiently went through several iterations as I began to narrow my future vision, ran precise and exacting projections, and suggested highly creative options I never even thought to consider. Jacquie was also transparent about all fees, which were reasonable based on a comparison with other CFPs. To cap it all off, Jacquie is articulate, clear and accessible - in conversation and in writing. She delivered her projections and advice with a keen focus on making sure I understood what she was saying. She also handled all of my ideas and tangential questions with ease. It was like learning from the best teacher you have ever had yet you are the only student in the class. If you are wondering about whether to contact Jacquie - don't. Just give her a call. You will discover right away that you are working with a consummate professional. I guarantee you will walk away feeling at peace with your future plans. You will also have a great time. Jacquie is, quite simple, everything you could hope for in a CFP.

Not happy with the plan. Had to be redone because of mistakes. Any change cost a lot of money. No tax planning if we live an average life span. No specifics of where in are RRSP to draw money from. I am looking for a new adviser.
