I've been with Origami Accounting since they began and have always been pleased with their service and quick responses to any questions I've had. Their pre-paid envelope service and online tools make it very easy to submit my monthly paperwork and process payroll. We've also been using them for the past couple of years to prepare our personal tax returns and have always appreciated their advice and assistance. I love this company! Ashley has been amazing to work with and really has helped me understand what I need to know as a business owner. You cant beat the price either. Ive gone through a couple Chartered Accounts and the fact that they do the books plus the filings...the price is unbeatable. They really do understand what its like the be a small business owner and all the costs that go along with it. Ashley even said to me once, "We need to make this affordable so our customers are around longer." Its amazing at how so very few accountants understand that when their sole purpose is to understand a company's expenses. Highly recommend and I am not one to say that lightly. They take away the stress of running the books of a company so you can actually build your business. Could not have made it without them.

We are into our 3rd fiscal year with Origami managing our bookkeeping and our year-end reporting and income tax. Upon moving to Origami, we were assigned an accountant, Dan, to manage our file. We lean heavily on Dan for important financial and tax advice, and are really happy with what he has provided and the response time to any of our requests. We had concerns about keeping our documents off-site with Origami, but they are so quick at digging up receipts or credit card statements and emailing them to us upon request, that it has never really been an issue. We highly recommend Origami Accounting.

I have been a client of Origami since the early stages of their business. Life before Origami was stressful - having to worry about getting receipts and reports to a book keeper and then at the end of the year providing the accountant will all the compiled reports. The simplicity of Origami's process (prepaid Canada Post envelopes for monthly receipts) saves me valuable time, which I can use to work and generate revenue! Further more, the online portal system makes communicating with my team, checking financials and administering payroll a breeze. I would highly recommend Origami as a bookkeeper/accountant.

The service is outstanding. As a small business owner, I was doing all my own book-keeping until I found origami. They have saved me several days worth of work each month and are doing a far better job than I was. The cost is very reasonable. They include my yearly tax return and t4 return in the monthly price of the book-keeping. What I love most is that they do not talk down to me or try to talk over my head. The book-keepers and my accountant explain things clearly and respect that even though they are doing my books, I still want to understand what's happening with my company's finances. Have nothing but positive things to say about Origami Accounting! Awesome customer service and always got back to me with any issues immediately. I really liked the idea of sending my info in the mail (in envelopes provided by them) and not having to make trips to see my accountant all the time. That’s why I chose Origami when I started my business 5 years ago and their competitive pricing was a plus! Great correspondence over email that would link me to my online portal on their website. All my financial statements were available to me on there and if I ever did want an in person meeting they were happy to set that up for me. Recently moved cities and decided to go with my new shop owners accountant (as I’m a subcontractor) and having the same accountant for both of us just made the most sense. So even though I did just end my services with Origami (which was a lovely and easy process) I would highly recommend them to other small business owners like myself, or any size business for that matter!

Darren is great to work with and answers all my questions promptly and provides great business accounting advice. Their online portal is great as it makes it easy to view financial statements, documents and do payroll. I like the email reminders when to submit payroll deductions and such. The referral program is also great so I always make sure to tell my friends about the great service. The pricing is good especially that I get both bookkeeping services and actual end-of-year filing for that price. Highly recommend Origami Accounting.
