Do-Not use these online products. Their promotions may not work and you will lose more money by way of losing your benefits if their promotions do-not follow through with your claim, then they will have all your personal information which is not safe at any cost, sorry h&r block online you suck!

I was a long time customer but this location admittedly messed up my taxes the previous season and now have to pay CRA as a result. Their original refund would have even covered the charges that I now have to carry. They only offered to take care of any interest fees or overages and give me a free refund while I have to figure out how I'm going to eat this month. Sub standard services from a company that should set a standard in this industry.

I would not recommend this location unless you have no other choice. They charge a significant sum of money for services, and those services are not designed to truly help clients get the best possible return that they can. The environment itself lacks overall professionalism and client privacy, and they'll eat up far more of your time than is necessary. Complete last resort: H&R Block, especially this specific location, is not ideal for anyone. Find a better tax preparation service!

Whatever you do, just don't use Mohammad. He made a mistake, I asked him to correct it. He refused and said it didn't matter. It did matter, it cost me almost $400. H & R block said they couldn't help me because I didn't purchase the peace of mind insurance. Mohammad I want my money!

Everytime i try and call here i am met with an answering machine. During hours when it states that you are open. And when I have gotten through to somone I am told that I must drop it off on a Monday and come back another day to pick it up! Which for one i have never had to do at any other H&R block aswell as I am from out of town and am already driving a few hours there and back to have said taxes done. So I dont want to be making an extra trip to do so. All in all I will be taking my business to thunder bay. I have been trying to book an appointment for over a month now. A representative told us he would accommodate us because he wants my business but then the representative answering the phone keeps saying that they can't And won't make it possible to speak to the representative that said he would accommodate us. For the record the instore representative who did my girlfriends taxes prior to this and said he would accommodate us was deservid of the 5 stars.

Don't use this office for your income tax return. I had my 2019 taxes done here. They told me I had to pay approximately $1000 to Rev Canada. I received a letter from rev Canada saying I owed over $20,000. Yes that is twenty thousand dollars. I went back to their office and they told me it was my fault. That I took money out of my Rrsp. I did not. I went back to their office 4 times. They could not reach the person that did my income taxes. The owner was also not available. After waiting a month to talk to the person that did my income tax return (she lives in another province) I was more than frustrated and stressed. Not once was I told that they would or could help me. I went to see someone I knew at Q Tax in Williams Lake. Yes a 10 hour drive. H & R in Kitimat screwed up and did not fill in a form needed to detail my information submitted to Rev Canada. I Went back to H&R and asked for my money back. They refused and still defended their position. I even took the form that Q Tax did and they still did not give me a refund of $100 they charged me to do my taxes. I then contacted H&R Block head office. I spoke to a lady and she said someone would contact me quickly. I told her I would not wait another month to resolve this. That was more than two weeks ago. Yes it is only $100 but ....

Apparently if you talk to revenue canada in front of them give all your information and continue to follow up you still don't get your refund from this place .. according to the manager he wasn't giving me my refund because "Revenue Canada" gave to many stories. Wow even when we found the issue it was not good enough for the manager .. so now my information was given to h and r and they talked to revenue canada asked questions to them about my account and I still got told they had to many stories.. OK BUD.... it's ok I'll efile with the guy who never has any issues with my account. You made it look like it came out of your pocket and then called RC a liar... if there was a half a star you'd get it !!!!!!! The woman who did try was awesome not her fault she was just as upset as me... The manager however not good to deal with or offer options....boooooooò

DONT GET YOUR TAXES DONE HERE. price gouged horribly and sub standard preparation and surprise they charged us 19 times more than normal and said it was because we had to pay taxes instead of getting a refund. Poor business standards. Great way to lose a good long term customer. Will never return.
