I can't recommend enough AACT. Not only have Laurel & Vivien been patient, helpful and smart - but they saved me from a lot of anxiety and saved me a lot of money. They've not only helped with filing my tax returns, but also with setting up & running payroll for my business, getting things together for me to incorporate my business and also helping prepare my affairs correctly to get the mortgage that I got. My wife & I are lucky to have found them.

I have been a client of this buisness for 11 years, my taxes were always done here snce the opening. last year my Fathers T4, was mistakenly included in my T4's, they processed it, with mine and held up at tax return to me?? This year, I filed at the end of March, My return was ready to sign on the 11 of April, I received a phone call from the Manager..Owner on the 30th of May??? She said they could not get in contact with me because they were Phoning the Wrong Phone Number??? My return was over 2800.00. Now I asked Why after 11 years of the Right Phone No. onwhy now the wrong one??? Tunrs out they had Put my X wifes, Cell Phone No. on my tax account and Phoned it for 1 1/2 Months..Now I asked how this happened and was told, I had otherized it?? Now I have been Devorced for 3 years, someone phoned the Right No. for this time..The Owner got quite Flustrated at my questions on why the 1 1/2 mth time lag, told me..Not her responsibility to have the Right Phone No. on My Account it was Mine. At this point, I said, I would sign my return and pay the 148.00 fee, and consider if I would keep them as my tax office...at this point,She said she did not think, she wanted me as a client, So I saved her the trouble reclaimed my unfilled forms and will find another, more Compitent Tax Office

Highly recommended for all your financial requirements. AACT staff are very knowledgeable and up to date on all the latest policies and procedures, easily assisting you in any facet of your financial needs! They take the extra time to answer all your questions and will investigate additional requirements tailored to your specific needs and situation. They make excellent recommendations on what is best for you! Personally, Vivien has done everything from our personal returns (including backdated returns), common-law status change requirements, investigated the eligible benefits we qualified for for our daughters learning disabilities, all the detailed financial paperwork to settle my mothers estate and returns and soon they will have to adjust our taxes again once we are married. They make everything easy to understand and it is not hard to see they love their work. I only wish I had heard of them sooner.

I was suffering a very traumatic financial situation with the passing of my daughter who was intestate and had not paid income tax for the past 5 years. Our lawyer recommended I visit AACT Financial for assistance. I received more than financial assistance, I experienced compassion, first class service and very understanding guidance from exceptional professionals. Thank you ladies!! BTW. I read a previous post from someone complaining about one of these ladies yelling at a person who was abusing the parking restriction in front of the AACT office. What hogwash! I cannot believe either of these ladies were yelling at anyone. However, if someone was abusing the parking restriction, they should be ashamed of themselves.

For years I did my own tax returns thinking that I was saving the preparation cost. As my income became more complicated I had AACT do my return and they pointed out that I wasn't aware of a Disability Tax Credit that I could have been claiming for the previous 7 years. They did the calculations, prepared the adjustments and submitted the requests for a small fee and the refunds were in the thousands. Nice work AACT.

As a very active real estate agent, my tax accounting would take me a lot more time than it is worth, plus I would need to keep up with tax changes year to year. AACT makes it so simple. I just take them my printout from Quicken and go back a few days later to sign & sent it off. Highly recommended tax accounting!

Vivien and her team do an amazing job of helping you go through your taxes, income, and expenses, and offer you some of the tools to help gather all the necessary information so you get the best return possible. They told me a lot of things I didn't know about my expenses and how they can impact my overall tax return, and I will be keeping more of my receipts as a result, because it does make a HUGE difference.
