Recently moved from Ontario to SK. So I asked them to change my address All it took is 2 days, 3 times branch visits in person and 3 hours of on call to CIBC

All I have to say from my personal experience with this branch is, the 2.9 stars showed when I looked and started posting this review is totally wrong. They deserve so many five star reviews. Excellent client service. Came into this branch to get a second opinion on a work cheque that the 8th Street location refused to to deposit without a hold on $100. The teller at this wonderful location took one look at my cheque and said, "it clearly shows payroll here". When the teller can't even believe the poor service received at another branch. Thank you so much guys, keep up the amazing work! You earned this 5 ★ review!
Hate this bank. Bad service & treat young people poorly, actually if you're not a commercial client you are basically worthless. Not to mention the highest fees of any bank. Glad I switched.
Arrogance from manager down to front desk. Reducing access to deposit limits for no reason "general maintenance"... Never return calls. Don't answer the phone. Asking me what I'm spending my money on... No feeling for privacy. Never again CIBC.

They are never able to help with anything. They always just say everything is policy and they can't do anything. I think ill just stick with TD.

Everytime I have come to this CIBC location there is always problem and cannot complete the task I have gone in for, they are typically rude and say that you are wrong about your own information. I only come to this location when there is no other option. I would not recommend using this CIBC branch.
Every time I have had to actually go into the branch I have always left with a satisfied outcome. The staff here I find are very helpful, knowledgeable and will do their best to resolve any problem or help in any possible way.

Banked with them for almost 10 years ran into a bump in the road and got absolutely screwed but I switched to Royal Bank of Canada, they fixed the problem and I couldn't be happier... These guys wont be getting my mortgage only good experience was the fancy advisor I had one time they save for rich people which increased my deposit limit which didn't last
dealt for years here. Mike does great job with oir portfolio. Need to be open for service on Saturdays.
Don't like to answer there phones or give call backs not happy with my service with this location and seeing as the stars already are not looking good I'd suggest stepping your service up a notch and make customer satisfaction a priority 1 star

Average ATM and bank. Clean inside and a few ATMs to work with. Mornings seem the best time to visit as later in the afternoon there is usually a big lineup. Nothing special - standard "we don't really care about you" bank. Like most of the banks I've dealt with.

This bank keeps making a mistake on my account and I have to drive back to get my money and then closers my account with no notice
Customer service is non-existent at this branch, was there today at 1:30 with 6 people waiting outside. 4 waiting inside and only one working atm and 1 teller staffed. I watched the loans office get up and notice that 10 people were waiting for service and then grab her bag and leave for lunch without even acknowledging the waiting customers. Shows how little CIBC cares about their customers.
I have called the CIBC on North Front Street and all get is the answering machine. I have left 5 messages and no one has called me back .The sixth time I called , I spoke to employee and she explained to me about the line of credit and give me direct number. So I have called on her direct number and left a message.....4 days later no call back .

I had a meeting with Kayla today to open a youth account. I do not believe I have had a more positive and genuine customer service experience than I had today. Kayla was knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and overall kind. My son left the bank feeling confident about his new debit card as Kayla took the time to explain the steps to deposit and access funds, the importance of confidentiality, as well as physical security- keeping your card safe. Thank you Kayla!
These people have got the rudest workers at the front desks. Just unbelievably stupid people. I had to educate them on what the cibc company policy is on getting replacement debit cards. DO NOT GO HERE
This should actually be a zero. I'm utterly shocked at this branch, 20 min for a new card, asked every question they could. I stated I'm getting anxiety very badly after answering everything as my dad isn't the healthiest at home and I'd like to leave. Rolling her eyes at me saunters off with my I.d at that point I just wanted to leave. FULL BLOWN ANXIETY ATTACK HITS, I'm crying and hyperventilating. Again, eyes are rolled and not ONE person was concerned in the slightest. It was an absolutely disgusting show of character - best believe I will be taking ALL of my money out and be switching banks. Didn't catch her name but will find out when I contact corporate.
My mother has an account at the CIBC in Belleville. The Bayview Mall branch was closed due to Covid-19 and so we had to deal with the N Front branch. My husband is my mother's power of attorney since she had a severe stroke last November. She is still in the hospital. She is paralyzed on her left side and is not cognitive. We are trying to stop payments on a Tech Care company for her computer (which she hasn't had since last November) in the US that my mother had signed up for (unbeknownst to us) and this branch has been NO HELP at all. We have the appropriate documents and our lawyer sent a letter to the branch. They will not budge. My mother is still in the hospital. The woman at the branch said that they are looking out for my mother. So a payment continues to come out of her account every month for a service she does not need. My husband has missed time at work trying to deal with this branch and has made numerous phone calls. Unbelievably terrible service

Carolyn Mcleary, who’s the manager, is a terrible person with a terrible attitude towards me as a customer is all I got to say. I had kindly asked her for assistance with regards to some inquiries about online bill payments as she was alone in her office while other representatives were all with customers. And then she was extremely rude towards me and was not at all willing to help. I am a bit older as I do not know much about online banking but she was having none of it. I feel insulted. I will never visit this branch again and will move my banking elsewhere. I will also escalate this issue to customer care.

Worst customer service I have seen. Watching two clerks talking while a line up was starting. The worst part is this happened every time I have had to do anything. The account will be closed and I will not be coming back nor will I ever suggest any CIBC to any one I know. Managers need to be better at dealing with the workers and to stop talking to their employees about last Saturday night. Very unprofessional, absolutely unbelievable! Sad when a small company moves their business because of this
