Make you rewrite your Power of Attorney if they don't like the wording even though the government is happy with it, the insurance company, etc. FOUR TIMES they had me do this. They're just a bank!

Good service and nice tellers, everything you’d expect from a bank. At this branch, I’ve found the tellers to be very kind and not pushy. I’m impressed with their service and that they are nice when I’ve had an issue with my account or a small question. Simple to set up accounts and visas. There online banking app is easy to use and intuitive. Sometimes there’s long lines but not at this visit. I would recommend parking in the back if you can’t find a spot out front!

Everything has 5 starts until they make a mistake. Friendly staff, not much waiting time, nice place. Then we get to the 1 star rating. Suddenly, the RBC becomes vague, elusive and tries to pin the problem on you when they make a mistake. Customer Service refuses to deal via email -phone calls only.. I guess we we will have to set up Quality Assurance audio tapes when we need to speak to them.

I am with the military and needed a piece of paper signed saying I was in Elliot Lake. But for some reason the tellers couldn’t just fill out the four pieces of information on the paper, such as the date, place, who signed it, and what their position was in the bank. Hopefully the stamp they could put on it is enough for the military admin, at least it has the place and date. I don’t know why they couldn’t sign the paper, they did so in the past.

Awful service. I receive my payroll via cheque, and had it set up with RBC that they wouldn’t hold my payroll like a normal cheque deposit. Everything was fine for a long time until they changed it without my knowledge and starting holding it (for five business days). They refuse to release my funds, and refused to change my account settings back to what they were. They were condescending and rude over the phone, and in person. I’ve been an RBC customer for 8 years and this is what they do. I am closing my account as soon as my payroll is released this week.

RBC is only interested in making money and not interested in helping people or community (beyond lip service). I have a dream job, good credit and was approved for a line of credit at 20% but denied a personal loan at 8% which was 10000 less than the line of credit. This is simply greed.

I was pleased with my RBC service in southern Ontario but in northern Ontario, RBC should send someone up here asap for a serious revamping. I've had nothing but problems since this Spring and am considering, after 25+ yrs with RBC, moving to another bank that is better organized up here.

The RBC bank in Iqaluit is actually nice, sometimes I wish there was more workers at the front desks, but that's not really a big issue.

I try to avoid going into this branch. Very slow service and their younger staff are not knowledgeable. They have also started holding government cheques. Only at this branch apparently.

My husband had his bank their at RCB Bathurst he saved over 3500 the bank take it and close his account now this is were I found it works they keep on sending notes were he owes more many now if he owes than money why did they him at work over his account was closed and give him over 1000 why didn't they keep it the RCB is run by moncky
