We initially hired Rainbow to be our MC, but from our very first interview with Rainbow, we could tell she was highly organized and meticulous, and so we also got her help as a coordinator. One of the best investments for our wedding was hiring Rainbow Chan Weddings & Events. My husband and I are both not very good at organizing and planning things and this was one of the best decisions we ever made. We initially wanted to hire Rainbow to be our emcee for the night but after meeting with her, we recognized her passion for wedding planning and decided that we wanted to hire her to be our coordinator. We went with the month-of coordination package as we were advised by many of our friends who got married before us a month-of coordinator was key to a successful wedding. AND BOY were they right! Thanks to Rainbow and her team, we had the perfect wedding. Not to mention, Tiffany the lead and Maribel WERE JUST AMAZING! They ensured that I, the bride would have a stress free wedding! AND THEY DELIVERED! Nobody came up to me with any inquiries that day except for them making sure I was okay with any minor changes or if I needed anything! Tiffany kept me calmed and told me to keep smiling and I didn’t feel any stress whatsoever and for that I am grateful. The entire day went smoothly and for the moments where we went over time, we somehow managed to make it up and everything we wanted was executed perfectly! Rainbow and her team are very professional, super responsive when it came to communicating (especially when we email back and forth so many times within an hour because of minor changes), very detailed oriented and without them we would most definitely have missed a lot of important things. Hiring Rainbow was one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning our wedding. We hired Rainbow for the month-of coordination package because I was able to do much of the planning myself. I was not sure how good of an investment it would be to have Rainbow for the month-of package since I thought I had mostly everything done. I now know how critically important it was to have someone for those hectic last few weeks handling all the vendors and details. She is a true professional and we were able to enjoy our wedding day without any of the stress. She also meets with you periodically to go over her detailed itinerary to ensure that everything is being addressed and taken care of. There were many last minute things I forgot, that if it weren't for Rainbow, I would have missed entirely. One VERY important factor for our big day was timing and coordination of family photos. Thanks to Rainbow, everyone got to where they needed to be, on time, and I was able to capture all the important photos with my family and friends because we were right on schedule. If it weren't for Rainbow moving things along, I probably wouldn't have been able to do this. Planning a wedding is stressful! On the surface I had initially thought it couldn't be that bad, but boy was I wrong. I'm so thankful to have had Rainbow by my side because there were so many moving pieces in a wedding that I didn't even think about or consider before working with her. What I love about Rainbow is that she's so well connected. She is always on the ball and able to get responses from vendors quickly compared to when I had initially tried to reach out to some of these vendors myself. She also has a great eye for detail and works seamlessly with the different vendors to help me and my partner achieve our vision. For my wedding I wanted a more moodier vibe for my photos. She was really able to help me narrow down quality choices of photographers that could give me the vibe I was going for. On our most stressful day, Rainbow and Mirabel were the two who kept the wedding on track and helped us manage the fine details that we never would have even thought of. Rainbow was a life saver for our wedding. We had a combined Chinese and traditional wedding with multiple events happening all in the same day. I am generally a very anxious person and Rainbow was able to help ease that anxiety and ensure the day went smoothly. Furthermore, we did not hire a florist or a decorator as part of our wedding and had sourced these items ourselves. As a result Rainbow was responsible for running the day of events and as well decorating the entire venue from the wedding arch, aisle, to the welcome tables and guest tables. Our wedding had multiple aspects going on at the same time (donut wall, dessert table, live dragon beard candy making etc), extremely detailed decorations and not to mention multiple dress changes. We hired Rainbow for our wedding a few weeks ago. We used her Month-Of Services and we could not be happier. She coordinated with all of our vendors and the venue to make sure everything was organized and everything ran smoothly. We got a lot of feedback from our guests about how well our wedding flowed and a big part of that was thanks to Rainbow's planning and ability to move large crowds of people into the right places when needed. We were a bit all over the place as most couples are when they are planning their wedding, but Rainbow did an excellent job in pushing us when we needed it and gave us a bit of space when we needed it as well. You can tell she is very experienced in what she does. She was also the emcee for our wedding and she went back and forth from English to Cantonese seamlessly. Rainbow came on a week and a half before our wedding and quickly familiarized herself with our vendors and existing plans. She introduced herself to the vendors and arranged for herself to be our point of contact going forward. She created a very detailed day of schedule breakdown within a day of our first meeting and shared it with all the vendors and members of the bridal party. We were so impressed with her confidence, speed and independence as she inserted herself into the final preparations. She also calmly helped us through a moment of crisis leading up to the wedding. We called Rainbow two days before the wedding with some issues with linens and she responded right away with back up suggestions available through her vast list of contacts, provided her opinion and calmed us down. Everything worked out perfectly and our hall was stunning and exactly what our vision was on our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Rainbow was with us from the hotel in the morning at 8:00 am until 12:30 in the evening with a smile on her face. She came prepared with a bag full of everything you could think of, including a nice Swarovski pen to use to sign the marriage license that would look nice in pictures, and a steamer for our dresses and to help set the final décor at the hall. She kept us and the vendors on time during photographs, transfer times between locations, and during all aspects of the reception. When we went to take our photos she went to the hall and worked with the décor, flowers, cake and musicians to ensure everything was delivered and set out the way we wanted. Our wedding reception was rather large with a wedding party of 14 people, and a guest list of 275. She has such a wonderful calm way about her while keeping a large group on schedule, she really has a gift for coordination. During our receiving line, she brought us coffee and a few bites to eat completely unprompted, which we were so grateful for. She worked with our MC to keep speeches, games, videos and dances on time. Our wedding day was so stress free and we were able to sit back and enjoy our night without worrying as Rainbow was so on top of everything. We received wonderful words about her organization, composure and willingness to assist with anything necessary from our photographer, videographer, bridal party and all of the parents, aunts and uncles involved in the day. I would recommend Rainbow to any couple getting ready to tie the knot as her keen sense of style, work ethic, kindness, organization, and adaptability make her an extremely talented, professional and trustworthy wedding coordinator. Having Rainbow as our wedding planner, coordinator and MC was the best choice we made. She made the experience so seamless, that the day was over before we knew it! During the planning process, she kept us on schedule, reminding us to finalize plans as well a provide useful recommendation for details of the day. When the day of the wedding finally came, although we had everything planned, we wouldn't have been able to keep-up with everything if it wasn't for Rainbow! From the getting ready photos and the tea ceremony, all the way up to the reception, Rainbow kept us on track with our schedule and gave us useful reminders to keep the day moving. She was very attentive with details and we really appreciate the effort and care she put towards our wedding. During the reception, she was our MC and our guests absolutely LOVED her. Even our DJ came up to use after to tell us how impressed he was with the way Rainbow was able to rev up our crowd!
