She captured the moment perfectly, and made us both feel so at ease to share our special moment. It was seamless from beginning to end. She was incredibly kind and fun, and made the experience one I will always look back on with the fondest memories. The photos are incredible. We received them the next day!!! On our wedding day she captured all the key moments, while also being somehow invisible. Her skill with lighting and editing are amazing. One of our favourite shots was taken a bit after the sun had set, in a dark forest. But the result was a ethereal shot with beautiful rays of light peeking through the trees. We are not sure how she did it, but it truly displays her talent (or magical powers). Anyhow, five stars every step of the way Anastasia. Thank you thank you!

Anastasia is the full package. Professional, friendly, talented, flexible, and all around the type of person you want following you around, on what could be a very chaotic day. She is kind and supportive, there is so much going on and you are the center of attention. Anastasia is calm, relaxed, and rolls with the day so that you do not feel overwhelmed. Our pictures took us right back to the day as if we were reliving it. I love her artistic perspective and she got all the right shots without us feeling like a camera is stuck in your face all day. I have been an event planner for 10 years, worked with hundreds of photographers and I can safely say she is my new #1. We had an amazing experience with Olive Photography from start to finish. Anastasia made my wife and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera even though we're not used to being photographed professionally. We liked that she would show us previews during the sessions of photos she loved and that would make us excited too! We've received many compliments on our pictures and are very happy with both the engagement and wedding albums. Anastasia is extremely professional - she is so fast with replying all communications and impressed us with her prompt delivery of albums. She also provides a lot of suggestions and inputs throughout the planning process but isn't pushy. For example, she kindly researched and recommended an alternate location for our wedding pictures. We are so grateful because our favourite pictures are taken from that school. Having an expensive camera doesn't make you a great photographer nor does it gaurentee a breathtaking album. Rather, Anastasia consistently produces beautiful albums because she has a talented eye for portraits, is personable, fun, and has the ability to capture the best in people. She was always very easy to get in touch with and open to ideas that I presented to her. She single-handedly orchestrated our "first look" photos, which was a deeply intimate and special moment for my husband and I. She has incredible people skills and even got my poker-faced uncle to crack a smile for one of my favourite family portraits. Most importantly, Anastasia kept a cool head during the chaos of the wedding day. We recently had our wedding at the end of July and our plans had changed big time from our original 210 person reception to a small dinner of 14. We had initially booked with Anastasia in 2018 because I loved her work then and had seen others, I knew who had also worked with her. She took our engagement photos in the summer of 2019 and they were just magical. They really are photos we will treasure for years to come. She is truly talented at what she does, and it shows in how she captures all of these beautiful candid moments. We had our wedding last week and it really was a very small, intimate ceremony and day compared to what we had initially planned. One of the best decisions of our wedding was choosing Olive Photography as our photographer. She fit so naturally with our wedding party and there was never an awkward or staged-feeling moment, and we ended up with the most gorgeous photos ever. Anastasia's shots really capture the joyful, candid moments, and she doesn't miss a beat, it's like she manages to be everywhere at once. She has a very intuitive, humanistic approach to her photography, paired with a creative eye that ended up with many beautiful magazine-worthy shots. We ended up with almost a thousand shots of our wedding! She was also very quick getting the edited shots back to us. She really commits herself to her work, too. She came with us to one of the meetings at the venue in order to scope out the space beforehand, and helped us plan out the day with the wedding coordinator. She is so accommodating and trust me, she will make you feel so good on your wedding day, like a movie star! Our family and friends came to us after to say how impressed they were by her, and that was even before they saw the photos. 110 % recommend Olive Photography. What can I say about Anastasia? She is a wonderful human being full of love and light who has an incredible eye for photography. After following her on social media for a while, I booked a solo shoot. I was nervous at first, but she made me feel beautiful and comfortable within seconds of meeting her. It felt like working with a friend instead of a stranger. It was a no-brainer to then hire her for my wedding. My engagement shoot was sooo much fun! I was nervous that my partner wouldn't be too comfy in front of the camera, but she brought out so many fun and natural smiles from him. The pictures were gorgeous and became the backbone of all of our stationery for the wedding. Our wedding photos were then that much easier, and the colours captured and highlighted were amazing. She also did our engagement photos, and didn't think I could be anymore pleased with her level of professionalism, friendliness, kindness, and generosity, but she completely blew us away for our wedding. SO helpful, aiding this stressed out bride to be in lugging items from room to room, all the while capturing amazing shots to help me fully remember the day. I can't even put into words what our wedding photos from Anastasia did to our hearts ♡♡♡ When we reached out to Anastasia she instantly won us over with her effortless charm and energy (Love at first sight if you will! Anastasia has a great eye and manages to capture the best lighting in all her pictures. She photographed my husband and I for our engagement shoot which was a little different than most - breakfast in bed/pillow fight, which meant the first time we met we were in our pj's lol. Anastasia was open to our different ideas and listened to our concerns about what we don't like in our photos. We loved that she was able to capture us in a very natural candid way but we requested more portrait type shots at our wedding and she definitely came through. She was like a ninja during the reception! At our wedding she stayed a little longer than she should have to capture our wedding speech, we were very thankful for as she had a wedding the next day. We felt very comfortable shooting with her and I would recommend her to anyone! We are looking forward to working with her in the future to hopefully take some family portraits.

Anastasia is nothing short of a magician with a camera! Hands down, she is the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process - and one of the first. Anastasia did our wedding and engagement photos, as well as a boudoir shoot, and did an outstanding job on all of the above. She was open to our ideas, gave us suggestions, worked with us to find other vendors, and just gave off a positive, caring and friendly vibe that we hadn't experienced with some of the other photographers that we had met with. On our wedding day, Anastasia felt more like a friend then a hired photographer. She made everyone feel relaxed while taking our photos and I received several compliments from our wedding party about how comfortable and natural she made everyone/everything feel. Receiving our wedding photos was the icing on the cake! They were absolutely beautiful - perfect lighting and natural - not awkwardly posed. I can't say enough amazing things about Anastasia!! She was referred by a friend after countless hours searching for the perfect photographer. I'm beyond happy with how everything turned out. Anastasia was more than our photographer - she was a friend, a support, an overall wedding expert. I was (apparently) the most calm bride...but that only lasted right up until about 15 minutes before we had to leave the hotel. I didn't have a bridal party and so I just had my mom and sister for support. I totally didn't even think that they were going through their own emotions that day and I probably should have called on a friend to be by my side. To work with Anastasia for our engagement shoot and wedding was one of the best decisions we made for our special day. At our first meeting, we sat down at her home and talked to get a sense of who we are, and what we can expect out of photos. On the day of our engagement shoot, she first took us to a nice little cafe (we love coffee and eating), then to a nearby park that also has a great view of the Toronto skyline, and we finished off our session on a hiking trail tucked away in the park for some pictures with the nice autumn colours. Since we wanted a mix of modern and nature, this was a perfect blend of what we wanted! Prior to our session we were also afraid that we'd be too posed and unnatural in front of the camera, but Anastasia was so comfortable to work with that we relaxed in front of the camera in no time. On our wedding day, Anastasia exceeded our expectations. Her easy-going personality and photography style that we've come to love and appreciate carried through, and she was just so wonderful to work with. She was never intrusive in the moment, and we would sometimes forget that we have a photographer running around capturing our moments, but sure enough she was there making sure everything is documented. She had many (maybe too many, sorry!) extra requests from family and friends to take photos of them and Anastasia was very accommodating with their requests and the shots were just as wonderfully done. Our ceremony and reception was at the Malaparte in downtown Toronto, and for our photos with the wedding party, she was again able to find a good mix of modern and natural sets for the pictures, just in the viscinity of the venue too! Her artistry and professionalism carried through from start to finish, a full 12 hour day of photography. Have we mentioned how astonishingly fast her turnaround time for photos is!? We got our complete set of engagement photos on the same evening, and our complete set of wedding photos just 6 days after! We would describe Anastasia's photography style to be elegant and natural. The photos genuinely captures the memories and the emotions of the day - minimal posing, minimal digital manipulations. These are photos where, if we were to hit a rough patch in our relationship in the future and we look back on our special day, we would be able to float back into those memories and emotions and carry on with our lives with the strength and motivation to make things better. Overall, Anastasia was an absolute gem to work with. Her easy-going personality helped everyone in attendance feel at ease around the camera and the final photos reflect the relaxed feel of the day. We couldn't be happier to have chosen Anastasia from Olive Photography to capture our special day!

From the moment I met her, I knew in my gut and heart that she was the one. She instantly made me feel so comfortable, and it was the easiest wedding decision we made. We often joked throughout the planning process that hiring Anastasia was one of the few things we actually nailed. (Spoiler alert - it was). From the mad scramble in the beginning of the day to the last bite of cake at the end of the night. She were there for it all, documenting every moment, helping out with the set up, making me laugh and stay sane through out the day. During our search for photographers, we were looking for someone who could capture all of the moments of our day through candid documentation as well as assemble group shots and romantic portraits. Anastasia strikes a perfect balance. Anastasia is not only naturally talented; she is friendly, approachable, professional, and efficient. As soon as she arrived at our home where the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready, she got right down to work moving furniture and finding the best light for setting up detail shots of us getting ready and my mom zipping me into my dress. Throughout the day—which I will add was the hottest day this summer—she put our family members, bridal party, and guests at ease with concise and clear cues to make sure everyone looked great and the composition of each photograph was balanced and flattering. Anastasia’s style is primarily documentarian, which means we got so many beautiful candid moments of us and our guests. She unobtrusively moved around throughout the day capturing multiple angles of the ceremony and the reception. She managed to get a photograph of every guest at our 75-person wedding. Finally, we were nervous about our 8-hour photography timeline with speeches and dinner running late. Anastasia stayed longer to capture the father-daughter dance and we are forever grateful. Anastasia is da bomb diggity! I've sent my thank you's in an email to her, but need the world to know how much we appreciated her work. It's super important to find a photographer you can trust to capture one of the most important days of your lives, and for us it was equally important to find someone who understood the meaningfulness and significance of the intimate wedding we had with our closest family. My friend hired Anastasia for her wedding and I fell in love with her style - it was natural, nothing overly processed, just captured the moment and light beautifully. On top of that, she was stealth. At my friend's wedding and at ours, guests commented on how they didn't even notice she was taking pictures, yet the photos you get back are close and intimate, I don't know how she did it! Words can’t describe what Anastasia was able to do for my fiancée and I! I reached out her as I needed a photographer for my surprise proposal. Not only did she help capture the special moment, she even went as far as spending time with me brainstorming potential locations. I eventually chose a spot and was blown away when I saw it in person. The view was absolutely stunning and there’s no way I would’ve found it if it weren’t for her.
