We live outside of Philadelphia and were planning a wedding in the Cape without a lot of knowledge on the area and local vendors. We got married in March 2021 and even though we were planning through covid, she made the entire planning experience easy, stress free, and enjoyable. Adding Stephanie to our wedding planning was the best decision we made! My now husband and I were planning our wedding while being away from the cape and the two of us were also living on opposite side of the country at the time. Not only was Stephanie extremely professional and knowledgeable, but she brought a sense of calm to what is arguably an insane undertaking. We had our first email exchanges about 9 months out, followed by an in person meeting 6 months out to start sketching out a plan, followed by another call 1 month out to make sure all the lingering details were coming together. I am admittedly a bit type A and did a ton of research for the wedding, but Stephanie had fantastic recommendations for vendors and scheduling, thought of things I would have absolutely overlooked and when it came to execution, she made our vision come together and run so smoothly. We used her partial package since I'm a control freak, and it was perfection. She knows the Cape, in our case Provincetown, and all the good, the bad and the ugly with the vendors, venues and options of how to plan out your special weekend. Jamie, and the whole team at Cape Cod Celebrations, were the "special something" of our wedding planning (and celebrating) process. I'll get into specifics, but if I were to identify our favorite thing about working with Jamie it's her "calm" at every juncture. It was a year to the day from our first meeting to our wedding day and I struggle to think of a single point where Jamie was anything other than calm, proactive, and brilliant. Now the specifics- first off we're two dudes getting married, and we had more opinions (really strong ones) about what we didn't want than what we did. What we wanted to do was build a whole new wedding experience- no "here comes the bride", no bouquets being tossed, no "for the very first time Mr. and Mrs." Our vision was to throw "a traditional gay wedding, the way they've always done it!" which is a funny joke, but Jamie's job was to figure out what we meant by that... and she did. Jamie brought great ideas and innovation to the table to solve logistical issues in our wedding day timeline (the walk from the ceremony location up to the reception was 8 minutes, how do we entertain the guests while they're walking... Jamie's idea was to have signs made up about milestones in our relationship: first date, when we got a puppy, the first Thanksgiving together, vacation, engagement, etc... They were such a personal, impactful touch that our guests didn't stop talking about!) When it came to vendors, I found Jamie to be the advocate that we didnt know we needed. She adopted our vision for the day and ushered us through the process with each vendor to bring it to life. When it came to the caterer, after our wedding we were worried that we'd made a mistake (the deposit was paid, the contract signed, etc...), Jamie heard our concerns and took them to the caterer. They rewrote their recipes and adjusted the preparations. They nailed it- it was the better version of a meal we would have served at our home. Personal and perfect.

Perfection! That's the only way I can use to describe our wedding day and Jamie was a key reason for that. After spending a few weeks trying to plan our Cape Cod wedding from Chicago by ourselves we were feeling completely overwhelmed and unsure if we were going to be able to make our destination wedding successful. So we decided to give Jamie a call and see if we felt comfortable trusting someone else with our big day. From the first call we knew that Jamie was going to be our savior. She listened carefully to what we wanted and thoughtfully laid out our options on how to achieve what we wanted. What we loved is that Jamie never told us what to do - just what it would take to achieve our goals. We started our planning process 18 months in advance of our date so choosing vendors was fairly easy, but with Jamie's many contacts she was able to suggest two to three options for each vendor and joined any interview calls that we wanted. Then after we chose our vendors she joined all of our vendor meetings to be sure she understood what we expected from them. Because of this preparation, she never had to ask us one question on the day of the wedding. She already knew what we wanted and just made it happen. I'm sure there were issues that came up during the day (we even created one!), but our guests never knew about them. Jamie just took care of the issues and made sure the day was about us and our guests enjoyment.

Full disclosure, I have known Jamie since we were very young. It was a no-brainer to choose Cape Cod Celebrations once we decided to have the wedding on the Cape. Let me start by saying if you have a DIY venue that does not include a planner or day of coordinator, YOU NEED CAPE COD CELEBRATIONS. The best money I ever spent. Pricey- but so worth it! After selecting my venue, I knew I would need a planner. Everything was brought in- the venue was JUST the venue. I had like 13 vendors. I am Type A and knew I would want to do a lot of hands on preparations, but the weekend of that I did not want to do ANYTHING. I chose Cape Cod Celebrations because they had worked at my venue and with almost all of my vendors and got great reviews. Jamie was AMAZING. She made straight forward recommendations whenever asked. She was great about staying in touch through a year of wedding postponement. I chose the “day of coordinator” package plus rehearsal assistance and vendor check in. Jamie came on Thursday and helped with our rehearsal and went through all my organized boxes of wedding decor. Friday, she came to the venue to check in my vendor drop offs (tent, restrooms, etc.) and make sure everything was delivered and set up as agreed. Saturday she arrived and got straight to it. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The wedding went super smooth. The reception went super smooth. If there was ever an issue, I did not know about it. She said bye at the end of the night, but was more than happy to stay if I needed. If you want to have a stress- free day, book with Cape Cod Celebrations!!

Both Jamie and Kate from CCC were amazing! We had a tented wedding at a private residence where we needed to bring in EVERYTHING (electricity, bathrooms, water etc.) and I was super nervous about the wedding weekend/day of going smoothly and Kate made sure that happened, we could have not done it without her! Jamie Bohlin and the rest of Cape Cod Celebrations rock star team was the best decision I made in planning our wedding, from start to finish I felt as though I was on track and in the best hands. As I think is the case with most brides, I went back and forth with the idea of bringing on a full-time planner since we had already booked our venue and knew that we would be provided with a coordinator. Both me and my husband live in NY but we decided to get married on the Cape. Our wedding was the most perfect and magical day of our lives, and it wouldn't have been possible without Stephanie from Cape Cod Celebrations. From the early stages of planning, Stephanie offered invaluable advice and expertise. Most of my vendors were booked from her preferred vendors list, but when there were certain vendors we couldn't book because of budget or availability, Stephanie helped us ask around and search for additional recommendations. Stephanie was also quick to respond to emails and super flexible with our in person meetings since we could only drive up on weekends. As we got closer to the big day, Stephanie took more and more responsibilities off my plate. She confirmed all my vendors, finalized my timelines, and took care of all the last minute details. Everybody at our wedding kept complimenting how professional and efficient Stephanie was at our wedding. Everyone from guest to vendor knew exactly where to go and what to do. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. We had an outdoor tented reception and pesky neighbors trespassing were a concern for us so we actually hired an assistant to help watch the property line. I personally didn't see or hear a single incident with the neighbors but I found out from my guests later on that there were indeed a few neighbors who tried to crash the party. But Stephanie and her assistant quickly and quietly escorted them off the property. And as a side note, my up-do started to fall almost as soon as the ceremony was over and Stephanie would magically appear out of nowhere throughout the day to help me pin up stray hairs. She had everything covered! Whether or not you have experience planning a wedding (I didn't), booking Cape Cod Celebrations to be your day of coordinator will be the best decision you make after saying "I do". It's your big day, you should enjoy every single of it without distractions or worries.

We don’t even know where to start with this review, because words can’t do justice to how amazing Stephanie and the team at CCC are! Stephanie was our Day of Coordinator, but it felt like much more than that. She made sure our day went completely seamlessly. She was incredibly professional and kind and helped us execute everything to perfection. We had a stressful week leading up to our wedding with last minute COVID safety protocols implemented the week of and she was incredibly supportive and helpful because CCC had done weddings under lots of different conditions over the past year and half. She helped us roll with the punches and made sure every detail was taken care of so that we could truly enjoy our day. Our families and wedding parties were so impressed with her and we were all so grateful for everything she and the CCC team did for us. We had a coordinator at our venue that helped with a lot of the planning lead up to the day, and even with that being the case I cannot recommend hiring CCC for your day of coordination or more. They really put all those final pieces together to make everything go smoothly! If you are getting married on Cape Cod, you absolutely need to hire Cape Cod Celebrations to help make your dream wedding come true!

AMAZING WEDDING PLANNER! Working with Jamie and Cape Cod Celebrations was one of the best decisions we made. She came highly recommended by friends and now I know why. In the pre-planning phases, Jamie was an amazing resource and sounding board - especially given the very DIY nature of our wedding venue. Jamie was continually organized, calm and responsive. In the week leading up the wedding, Jamie went above and beyond when we faced some unpredictable weather challenges. With Hurricane Harvey expected to hit Chatham Friday/Sat, Jamie went into action working through contingency and backup plans. Despite the stressful turn of events, Jamie stayed calm throughout and I knew undoubtedly she had it covered. She was on top of every vendor and was there to answer every question. In the end, the weather cleared and we had the most beautiful day. My biggest fear during the planning process was how the whole thing would come together. With so many vendors, it seemed like an impossible task - but Jamie made it happen. Every single element of our wedding was better than I imagined. Planning a wedding is a big undertaking and we could not have done it without Jamie. Cape Cod Celebrations is an incredible team and I would HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone getting married on Cape Cod.

We were very fortunate to have used Cape Cod Celebrations (in particular Stephanie Diaz Eldredge) for the planning and overseeing the wedding of our daughter on 10.01.16 in Truro, MA. The wedding was held at a private home in Truro which required some very creative planning due to the rather inaccessibility of the property. The event exceeded our expectations (despite a soaking rain) and all of our 160 guests were extremely complimentary. We can recommend Cape Cod Celebrations without reservation for your next event.

Hiring Jamie at Cape Cod Celebrations was the best decision we made next to getting married in the first place. She's that amazing. She is a complete professional but also makes you feel like you're planning your wedding with a close friend. She is calm, cool and collected at all times, which let us relax and rest assured things were being handled. And if you do freak out on occasion (which, with two type A brides, did happen once or twice) she just handles it. She's the Olivia Pope of wedding planning. We chose a full planning package and I could not recommend it any more highly, especially if you have a demanding job and/or don't live on the Cape. I am positive that we would not have managed to put together any semblance of a wedding, let alone the utterly gorgeous one we had, if Jamie wasn't there with us from the beginning. Another important consideration when choosing your planner (and one I never would have thought of before going through the process) is the relationships your planner has with other vendors. Jamie has fantastic relationships all over the Cape (and beyond; she worked with our PA-based photographers and our NH-based photo booth folks seamlessly). So many of our vendors told us how much they respected her and enjoyed working with her. This speaks so loudly, since all vendors want to work with people who are going to let them do their jobs most effectively. That's Jamie. Something else that never would have occurred to me before getting married: your planner (and your makeup and hair professionals) is a very intimate part of your day. Your planner is the person who will be standing next to you right before you head down the aisle, or who gives you and your new spouse a peak at your reception space for the first time. These are special moments, and they are made even better when that person is someone you have grown to love, trust and respect, and whose hard work made it all happen. I am eternally grateful that for us, that person was Jamie.

She weighed in with advice and suggestions whenever I needed them and helped me stay organized by holding planning calls during the final weeks before my wedding. My Day Of Coordinator, Erin Soderstrom, was truly fantastic! Erin has a very calming and supportive presence and she helped me and my groom to feel very relaxed on our wedding day. Erin made sure our wedding day kept moving on schedule and she took care of all the last-minute details. Erin performed her job with grace and kindness and was the perfect person to work with on our wedding day. We love Cape Cod Celebrations and would recommend them to everyone!

Wedding planning is beyond stressful. That's just the truth. I thought I had it all under control but nearly lost my mind and decided I needed an extra set of hands. Just being on the phone with Cape Cod Celebrations (Jamie) calmed me down immediately and I knew it was the right choice to spend some extra money to have my sanity back. As soon as I signed the contract I instantly felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders and I completely trusted that everything would work out perfectly (and it did!) Jamie was very flexible with us and created a custom plan that worked perfectly with our budget and the tasks that I knew I couldn't handle all on my own. Every bride needs a Jamie. Actually, everyone needs a Jamie. Honestly, how do you begin to explain how thankful you are for the person who helped plan, coordinate and execute the best day of your life? There is no way to describe how grateful we are of Jamie who literally made our vision her brand – she made everything we wanted happen. My now husband and I worked with Jamie for about 16 months to plan our wedding. It was the best thing we ever did. From our first phone call, all together, you could feel her positivity, creativity, easygoing confidence and humor through the phone. I knew right from our first call we were going to get along and I instantly felt some relief about planning the wedding. I would say I have a touch of a type A personality and Jamie handled me with patience and ease. I shared a Pinterest board I had created for my vision for the wedding. Jamie brought it to life. She introduced me to her network of vendors and we chipped away at all of the moving parts. I sometimes did not know how to explain or bring to light what exactly I wanted to vendors during our meetings. Jamie knew and would answer for me. I didn’t even think twice about any suggestion she would make. I always went with what Jamie said because I trusted her more than I trusted myself in making these decisions. Throughout the entire process, she was always in communication with us; documenting notes from every meeting so we would not forget anything we decided on or why we strayed away from something, suggestions, and then to-dos my husband and I were responsible for. She kept us on every communication with vendors and if for some reason we were not on the same page as a vendor, Jamie jumped right in and cleared up the situation. Jamie goes above and beyond in everything she does with confidence and so calmly to flawlessly execute every last detail for perfection. In the weeks leading up to it, she handled all of the vendor coordination and timelines for the day of, taking that off of my plate where I was able to focus on other smaller things. We pretty much met once or twice a month three months before the big day. She always gave the option of jumping on a call but I looked forward to our meetings in person where we would go down a checklist of things I had done or she had done since the last time we had spoken and then talked about what was on our plate next. Jamie made all of the planning so fun! Her passion and dedication for planning these events inspires you to want to go and do the same. And, I have to add, Jamie was planning all of these other weddings during the time we worked with her, and she still made us feel like we were her only one. Our wedding day was a dream. Because of Jamie and her assistant Lindsey (who was equally as awesome), we did not have to worry about a thing. I knew all of the details (which were unbelievably beautiful) and moving parts were in good hands. Our wedding was under a tent and Jamie had taken us into the tent to see how our vision came to life. We. Were. Blown. Away. Jamie gave us everything we ever wanted and hoped for on our big day. At the end of the wedding, Jamie and her team took care of getting things on our shuttle home and packed up everything else that needed to be taken from the venue. She allowed us to enjoy and be present for every single second of our wedding. Post wedding blues are real. But I would say a big part of mine is not talking to and meeting with Jamie all of the time. You are not just hiring a planner who is dedicated, proactive, hardworking and organized but you gain a trusted friend, confidant, sounding board, therapist and pretty much your right arm to help make the millions of decisions that need to be made while planning a wedding. She is everything you ever want in a planner and individual. I will not rest until all of Cape Cod and New England know how fantastic Jamie and her team truly are. We feel honored to have worked with her and honestly, I’m just looking to plan the next event so we get to have her back!

I can't thank Cape Cod Celebrations, especially Heather enough for all her help leading up to and the actual wedding day. We truly appreciate everything she and Maia did and don't know what we would have done without them. We would not have had as wonderful a time as we did. The timing of everything was perfect and I know it is because of Heather. She always made us feel so special, especially the bride and groom who were absolutely over the moon excited with how everything turned out. We've gotten rave reviews from our guests. At the end of the night I simply walked out of the ballroom and seamlessly Heather took care of all our wrap up work.

Working with Cape Cod celebrations was without a doubt the best decision we made when planning my wedding at The Provincetown Inn. It was a lobster bake on the water with tons of moving pieces. The wedding was originally planned for last June and needed to be postponed a year due to covid. We were lucky enough to work with the owner of Cape Cod Celebrations, Jamie Bohlin. Jamie managed to keep us calm and on track during the entire planning process. We would have been lost without her! Jamie certainly knows the Cape and recommended fantastic vendors to us. Jamie was beyond amazing! My husband and I got married during the covid-19 pandemic and had to plan our wedding three different times at three different venues. Jamie was there every step of the way to help arrange/change vendors, set up/attend appointments and find the very best vendors for each job. When Hurricane Elsa decided to hit Cape Cod the day of our wedding (omg) and we had to switch from the tent outside on the Ocean Edge lawn, to an indoor room, Jamie was there to help support every step of the way.
