Best place to train in town. There's a half Olympic swimming pool and it's nice. The water is a little bit cold especially when it's -40 but hey that's swimming!

Good rec facility with a variety of scheduling options for scheduled programming. Seem to be doing a good job of ensuring they keep as many offerings as possible during COVID-19 while still respecting guidelines. My one complaint is more staff could be trained or authorized for different access types at the front to increase consistency of service and reduce the wait time/avoid being redirected and having to wait in line again after being called up once.

This building is huge with lots of story’s and a scary staircase to the third and a lazy river with plenty of moving power and a large slide sauna and dive board with an extensive weight room and lots of rinks and courts

It's a gigantic building with all kinds of activities, two large ice rinks and a small one for kids, a soccer/football court, tennis court, playroom for kids, gym for adults, pool, jaccuzzi, sauna, Subway restaurant and Booster Juice. This is definitely a good place to spend the long winters here.

Mid-large sized multiplex, sm-med sized pools. Two different sized rinks. A soccer field with a floor that i have never seen cleaned (seen moms change babies with out cover pad before), something to think about while you’re rolling around on the surface. Like any major employment centers, some staff are knowledgeable and some are new and inexperienced. Some Wellness coordinators (gym attendants) who have taken the fitness theory exam are too busy folding towels while the occasional patron may use too much weight and improper form and be very close to hurting themselves. Change room for gym is v small, while the upstairs foyer has way to much room. The pool is nice, well designed, free for all to enjoy. When the pool is shut for a few hours during a ‘fowl’ (toddlers swim diapers are suggested but enforced) front staff may or may tell you when it happens. The staff are hardworking folks. Up early or working late so that i may use the facilities ❤️ which i am thankful for.

Look deeper into the grain of what has grown here in this harsh and beautiful climate; the people, the art, the architecture.

I absolutely love the Canada Games Centre. For a student membership of $48, you get full access to the beautiful facility. Fitness centre, classes, pool, gym, indoor soccer field, track, and more. Staff is very friendly. Whitehorse is lucky to have a facility of this calibre.

Excellent facility with all the amenities normally only found in larger urban centers. Also provided are various forms of coaching and counseling services. Definitely worth a visit to see all that is happening.

Well planned and well used facility. Spaces are large and put to a variety of uses.... changing areas are decently kept although there are issues with water temperatures in the showers and with pressure in the drinking fountains. There are food concessions and several seating areas ....those on the top floor enjoy great views. A walking track.... hot pool....saunas.... steam room.... and access to physiotherapist offices are all great additions to this multiplex....

Great day spent at the Canada Games Centre. This place is full of activities for kids and adults alike. Even if you stop by for a drop in (<$8), you can make use of all their amenities. This includes the work out area, multiple pools, gymnasium and rinks.

Nice rec center. Beautiful facility. Was passing through and stopped to pay $7.90 CAD for a day pass to use their showers. Only downside was that the showers in the locker room we're community style, no stalls or doors. Good place to shower along the Alcan though.

Go to facility. Whitehorse wouldn't be the same without it. There numerous times a week and sometimes numerous times a day. The fieldhouse is always fun for a bit of soccer and if you're crazy enough, medieval fighting in full gear. I'll have to share my wife's photo.

Super nice facility! In fact for the Yukon as a whole I would say it's the nicest facility! It offers a sweet full size pool for laps, then a kids pool with lots of fun float toys, slide, lazy river, water rope swing, hot tub, sauna. Then it has an indoor soccer field, of course ice hockey rinks, and tons of other space for events! It also has food places inside. The facility also is very clean and very respectable staff! I really believe businesses in the Yukon could learn alot from how the Canada gaming center is ran and kept up. They take pride in this business!

Nice location. Lots of activities. Pretty Clean, and friendly staff. At the swimming the lifeguards are very helpful with tips and tricks on improving my swimming. Most of the staff are more than happy to assist. Entire place is kept clean especially the fitness room.

Little to no social distancing measures. I read on the website you have to wear a mask when not working out but literally no on it following that "rule". Very expensive for outdated gym equipment and.... No change rooms or showers?? Avoid, you are better off working out at home. Wouldn't be surprised if this place has a covid outbreak in the next few months

Great price for everything they offer. Hot tub was great, steam and sauna temperature was up there, and a sweet lazy river. Shower area clean and plenty of lockers. Staff friendly. US $ to CAN was 1 for 1. Juice place was great in the way out too.

I love this facility! Clean, spacious, organized, friendly staff. I just got back into swimming and the lifeguards have been helpful with tips and tricks on improving my diving as well as my swimming techniques. Just ask and they are more than happy to assist. The fitness room is also clean and well-equipped, again, with very helpful staff. This is truly a first class facility.

It's got everything you need in a town of 30,000. Two skating rinks, indoor soccer field, large gymnasium, aquatic centre, indoor running track and well-equipped fitness centre....plus more. The views from Canada Games Centre are also picturesque.

Great place for kids to play when it's too cold to play outside. You can go skating (and rent skates), go for a workout, go for a swim, play hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball and more. Stop at Subway or Booster Juice for food and drinks. There's a running track, a gym, a pool, play spaces, swimming lessons, skating rinks, summer camps for kids, and more. My only complaint is that there is nowhere there to get a decent coffee! (Subway coffee is terrible!). Would love to see and adult playground here one day also....and a rock climbing wall would be a great addition!

Best option for active tourists. They've got everything here! Sauna, hot pool, swimming pools (kiddie size and a semi Olympic sized one), fitness centers and programs, a physiotherapy clinic, an indoor running track, sports courts and energy replenishment kiosks (Subway and Booster Juice)! An all in one fitness complex for short.

Attended my Chronic Support Group meeting at 9 a.m. we were told that a COVID case was reported from the week b4. Will get the 3 tests done but there were few people in the gym or on the track so stayed for the 1 1/2 hours then went home.

The Canada Games Centre is a State of the Art facility next door to the pristine Mt Mac X country groomed and sometimes lit network of ski trails where we spent a couple of hours this balmy minus 6 Feb. afternoon exploring the fresh snow along the Copper and Coyote trails. The Centre contains a 25 m lap pool, a warm family leisure pool w a water slide, a lazy river, a gym court, a soccer field, an ice pad and friendly, helpful staff at the top of 2 mile hill. We went on a Saturday night and enjoyed the socially distanced pool after a brief 10 min wait. Part 2 of our Whitehorse Weekend Warrior Triathlon! Tomorrow Downhill Skiing on Mt Sima. What a great way to get to know this beautiful territory.
