Beautiful rooftop view, open concept with movable walls to enclose areas as necessary, great space for hosting large scale corporate events
WOW! What a fantastic site for special functions. Staff are exceptional. Views of Toronto are spell binding! Awesome.
Beautiful venue! Incredible view and great event staff to make events really happen! They’re quick to have a backup plan for rain too
Beautiful new event space as part of the new Globe and Mail office building. Some fantastic views of the city from the East side
Nice clean building. Has the new elevators that only those who make over 100k understand how to operate.
The nicest event venue I've been to in the city. The views are remarkable.
Saw Reprint on the 17th floor. From The Musical Stage Company. I loved it and loved the venue. Spectacular views.
Pros: 1. Great views from the 17th floor. 2. Elevators have a unique system wherein you select the floor even before you get in the doors. 3. Great location 4. The event held was fantastic. This building is certainly great for corporate events. Cons: None that I can think of.
Drove by the Globe and Mail Centre today and thought of my dream team: Luis and Lori. I work weddings and a lot of them. They stood out because of their ability to work as a team, advocate for our couple and obsession with perfection (we dig it). Did I mention the venue is absolutely GORGEOUS?!!! It won't disappoint. I look forward to working with you again, Maleila Day of Wedding Coordinator
I was here for a corporate party and loved the event space on the top floor--an amazing panoramic view outside and loads of light inside. Drink service was great, and the food at our event was good.
The Globe and Mail Centre is one of the most gorgeous venues we’ve had the pleasure to photograph. It is the perfect combination of minimalism with warmth. The views are simply un-matched anywhere else in Toronto. There are a number of great spaces to take photos including the lobby, the stairways, the rooftop terraces and the event space itself. The staff is also so accommodating and helpful. We can’t wait till we are back in a few weeks to photograph another stunning wedding.
AMAZING views!! Food and service were phenomenal and yet we were treated as professionals the entire time. World class!
My husband and I had the perfect experience getting married at the Globe and Mail Centre this past August. Julia, Luis and Natasha were nothing but a pleasure to work with, the view was beyond belief, the experience and service throughout the night was impeccable, they were super accommodating, and everything went flawlessly thanks to their wonderful staff. I don't drink alcohol, so Julia went above and beyond and asked my husband what my favourite drink was so she could make sure it was in stock. They had no root beer, so she ordered me some bottles. It was so thoughtful! I would highly recommend hosting an event here.
Good event space with an awesome firepit balcony. Great views of the city.
Really great views, I was on the 17th floor and you could see o much. All of the staff that I encountered were amazing!
Amazing view!!! Great place to host events!
Beautiful venue with stunning views. There's a terrace that provides a great way to enjoy a nice day and floor to ceiling windows that wrap around the perimeter of the building if the weather isn't as nice. While the Globe and Mail Centre is a little bit east of the downtown core, it means that you get a full panorama of the financial district cityscape. It can be accessed quite conveniently by both streetcar and subway.
Beautiful new building. Great open event space with an amazing view of the lake/city
Great view of the Toronto Harbour, excellent event facilities with outstanding architecture.
Follow the Globe Content Studio to attend MarTech Mornings and hear experts in their fields and also, have this fantastic view once a month.
Love this event space! The view is spectacular. If you haven’t been here yet, I highly recommend it.
Had my work Christmas Party here. Amazing venue with amazing views.
Second time here for a wedding. Beautiful layout and the views of the downtown core are stunning. Food was fantastic and the service staff are just incredible! Very friendly, quick and professional. Big props to them. Keep up the great work!
Lovely space with great views of city. Very well organized and having tea, coffee, etc. available was another plus to enjoy the lectures which were excellent.
Food was amazing, along with friendly service and the view is to die for. I was very impressed with my experience I had during my time there for my cousins wedding day. Highly recommend it.
Love this venue. The view is incredible! One of my favourite views of the city without a doubt. Their food vendors are great too.
Rented this venue space for a corporate event and their staff is top notch. Always quick to respond to inquiries and very accommodating to all of our requests. On top of their service, the venue is beautiful - great view of the downtown core and Lake Ontario.
New event space. Great view of the city. Great for weddings, corporate events. Amazing caterer by The Food Dudes.
Brilliant building, cozy event space. Fantastic view of Lake Ontario and downtown Toronto. Good service. Food was fine but could have been better.
We hosted our wedding at the Globe & Mail Centre in October 2018 and it was perfect! Julia was our point of contact and she was amazing to work with. We wanted to make some modifications to the wine list and it was executed perfectly. The day went so smoothly and the drop dead gorgeous views of the city during the day and the night were a huge contributor. Thanks again!!!
Is a great event venue. Wedding here will look spectacular... Looking out to Toronto night scenary is a bonus for this place!
The 17th floor event space is spacious, modern and offers amazing views of central downtown down to waterfront. Perfect for parties, inside and out with patio space available too.
Striking looking place and great views from the higher floors
Beautiful place for any event the wedding I attended was amazing and so where the views of the city
The archeological exhibit in the lobby was breathtaking. I would have missed this if it wasn't for the big signage up front. It's nice to know where we come from as a city and this exhibit is a constant reminder of that. #betterthanKusama
This is a building with an amazing view to Toronto downtown. It's probably the best view. I believe 17th floor is where they organize different events and it's where I was when I visited this place last time. Also a large balcony all around the building. Really great
Beautiful building. The views from the top floor are astonishing. I attended for an event.
Fantastic venue and experience. Attended a conference there and the service, amenities and catering were absolutely fabulous.
A recently opened, modern office building featuring great views of Downtown Toronto, the Port Lands, and the east side of the city. On the top floor is a large, well appointed, flexible conference facility capable of hosting several hundred guests. Audio and multimedia appointments are of high quality. A wet bar is also available.
Wonderful views and a top notch facility but it is only for events I think? Would get more stars if something open to the public more would come into place.
Beautiful view, great staff, awesome venue. Can't wait to go back.
Love the news but also live the building. One of the best mid rises and complementary pieces in the east of the downtown.
Nice place for corporate/personal events for around 500 people. The view from inside and the large balcony is stunning.
Great event venue! Suitable for corporate & social events. The view is amazing!
Always a success planning events here! Great coordinators and staff! Beautiful venue with beautiful views of the city!
Seriously impressive events space at the top of the building, which is 17 floors I think. Can be converted from one massive room into many smaller rooms. Fantastic views of Toronto. Lots of natural sunlight pours in, but shades can be drawn as well. Loved it here.
The food was delicious. Morning coffee, lunch with many choices, wonderful breaktime fruit and cookies, and a superb cocktail hour in the evening. The meeting room was at 72F. Supposedly but was much too cold for most of us. The temperature did get corrected after many requests. Thanks. Sooner would have been better.xo.
Who on earth would read anything from here!! Your news is not reporting any truth or facts about the omicron covid so called crisis!! When you produce some facts am evidence on what you are saying .. I might listen. So far its all BS….
Beautiful venue with breathtaking views! They have everything built into the 17th floor space! Everything is in pristine condition!
Beautiful building with a very scenic view of Toronto. We were on the 15th floor for a company function and service was excellent, although something happened towards the end and everyone was cold, like they shut the heat off.
Such a glorious venue with loads of light and breathtaking views. It's the perfect spot to host swanky events.
Hands down the best view of the city. Now mix that with great staff and accessable parking, that's a winning combo.
Beautiful views of the city. I imagine it to be amazing in the summer when the outdoor space is open.
Such a beautiful and modern venue with a really great view of the lake and Toronto! It was a little out of our budget but would love to attend an event here!
Shot a wedding on the top floor, what nice view from The balcony ! Will definitely recommend to future clients as a potential venue for their weddings.
This is the Toronto offices for the globe and mail - one of the national newspapers in Canada. The size of the paper like most has shrunk but they continue to publish good articles- a Richard Trus review

Awesome view of the city from its 17th floor deck.Flooring can be improved at the event hall.
If you want a venue with an unbelievable 360 view of Toronto, this is the venue for you. Gorgeous in every way, versatile, easy to access. Attended my cousins wedding here and was very pleased.
You press the elevator button for the floor you want BEFORE you get into the elevator. What an amazing age we live in. Green P parking and a few restaurants are nearby.
Amazing event experience here! Will come back!
Love this building. Great venue for events.
Gorgeous venue with lots of natural light and stunning views of the downtown core. Large terrace is a definite wow factor. Could work for corporate events or weddings. Terrace cannot be tented so is only weather permitting, but the partitions in the hall can move to create different sections.
We had our wedding at the Globe and Mail Centre last week. The venue is stunning, staff is amazing and organized, and every detail was perfect. Thank you Globe and Mail team for the perfect wedding!
I had the opportunity to present to a group of 230+ here for an event. The facility is beautiful, up to date and provides an amazing view of Toronto.
Shouldn't have a sign with a picture of pizza on the outside of their restaurant without actually serving pizza?? Unless of course you knew you had to order it online before you came? 6 out of the 6 people had no idea.. So we left, couldn't tell you how the food was?
Against #Toronto's cityscape backdrop over 450 chairs await in anticipation of the Outstanding Women Award nominees in 15 industrial categories and Dr Jean Augustine for lifetime achievement award.
Great view of the city! We hosted an event there and its by far the best place in city to do so.
Extremely unprofessional, they do not even respond to basic emails. I have politely sent follow-up emails asking to even just confirm receipt of my email, but complete radio silence. Not even basic courtesy to let me know that they have received my email, and will send me details later on. Not sure why sales don't seem to care for a new client. Very frustrating. I would avoid if you want prompt service.
