Great marina, friendly staff, members are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I really enjoyed my time there. The fees were quite reasonable, and the facilities equal to or better than most I've been to. We are on a catamaran, almost 23 feet beam. Most places can only offer tdock or sea wall.. At Port Whitby we had a slip, with room for another boat beside! If we come back to lake Ontario, I will definately be coming back to port whitby

I've been to different marinas and join member to private yacht club, Port Whitby Marina is still on the top of my choices! People in the office and the ground crew on the yard are working so hard to make the place better, they truly love and proud of what they are doing! I also want to thank Rob Macleod who contribute so much time and effort, not asking anything for return, providing the free in class lessons of navigation, communication at the Avalon Lounge! I think we are lucky to have a place like this!

Being new to boating last year we didnt know what to expect but the staff are amazingly helpful and have the knowledge to help in any situation. the members are great and warm and friendly and are there to help dock any boat coming in. we didnt just join a marina we now have an extended family who are more than willing to help teach us what we dont know and do something as simple as share experiences over a coffee...thank you so much to every single person at the marina...we love it here and look forward to every weekend with our extended family

Has several places to be able to paddle board would definitely recommend it ...just be aware that the water i sometimes be a little choppy

We've had our boat at Whitby marina twice for winter work at SWANs. Whitby marina staff are a pleasure to work with. Special thanks to Terry, supervisor of travel lift and mast crane crews. Terry is great to work with, takes care of the customer. I can't say enough about the great service from all the staff at Whitby marina. They are very helpful.

I think this is one of the best marinas around GTA. Extremely clean and organized, very quite, well maintained facilities, short walk to a grocery store, good marine supplies store, bank, beer store and fast food. On path to a park and waterfront. But watch depths in August to November can be down to 5.5'-6' in some slips even closer to outside. Stay in the channel and close to slips when you go in.

Nice, clean clubhouse area with friendly staff. Lots of facilities, ships etc., nearby. Good spot for an overnight stop while travelling on Lake Ontario. We have a fairly deep keep which we mentioned when we arrived, and the staff assigned us a slip at the very back wall. It was fine getting in there, but on the way out we could feel the keel pushing along in the mud and had to reverse to try a different route to get back out to the lake. We were thinking since this happened in high water conditions it would be handy if staff were careful about the placement of the buoys and the depths, otherwise next time we fear we would get stuck in their harbour, and we were diligently following their buoys. Anyway, it turned out fine and it was a nice evening stop in a secure location.

The Avalon Lounge is just beautiful and has an amazing view of the marina, but what makes this place even more remarkable is the staff and how helpful and friendly they are. I would definitely go back to host another event here without question.

Could eat off the floor in the washrooms...yes they are that clean...summer students are fantastic, very nice, friendly and helpful. Never an issue with fueling or having my boat caught. One summer student I remeber was Ryan, with his amazing Tilley hat and awesome personality he is a perfect employee at the port Whitby marina. Everyone else is also fantastic! Keenan, the manager is very organized with his duties and gets the job done perfect. ????????

The building is newly renovated and everything you need for a small marina. The docks were just redone and provide water and hydro. The staff are extremely kind and helpful with whatever you may need

Excellent Service. Both office and yard staff go above and beyond to make things happen. I arrived by water for a better lift schedule. The staff made sure I got back to my vehicle and they beat their own lift time. Accommodation and equipment are second to none. I will definitely be returning. Thanks for your help with my sailboat.

A well managed marina where one can get fuel and use the facilities to relax or take a walk around. There are coffee shops, a grocery stors, a pub and fast food in acshort drive and even walking distance. The Marina management and workers are great.

I want to make a special mention about whitby Marina. because they monitor marine radio they heard the call and a samaritans rescued my difficult gear with gentle precise and patient expertise. Thank you Whitby Marina. As I do not know the Managers name who helped I want to say a special tha k you fro. Dr. Kent. The air support rescue was not necessary. but a great event in my life and the expensive gear could easily have been lost or damaged. if it was not for your amazing and kind foresight and help

We've been members on and off for 30 years. This place is well run, clean and efficient. If you are looking for a wedding venue then this is the place! The grounds are lovely. We held our daughter's wedding there. The price was excellent!

We’ve had our boat here for a few years. Never had any issues. There’s a fair amount of algae and weeds but that’s not really the marinas fault. Overall a perfectly fine marina.

Great staff, very clean surroundings, friendly boaters makes for a great place to launch your boat or just relax. BBQ and picnic tables are available for members. I highly recommend this marina.

If you a want to keep your boat at a marina where the staff and management go above and beyond, this is the place for you. Keenan and the team cannot do enough for you.and it is always in a courteous and professional manner. It is my first year owning a boat and they have helped me every step of the way with great advice and encouragement. As the hedgehog said as it slid off the scrubbing brush, "we all make mistakes" but don't you make the mistake of putting your boat anywhere else...

A modern and very clean marina, although we visited during COVID, so most of the facility was closed. A few minutes walk to a grocery store, lcbo and restaurants, although definitely a more suburban feel rather than a downtown feel. When we wlked to the store we caught an impromptu concert provide by a group of bagpipers warming up.

We crossed Lake Ontario after the Welland Canal on our way from Wiarton to Bath and Whitby was our next stop. The entrance to the marina requires your undivided attention in following the markers and guides you right to the fuel dock. Here we found Matt who was very friendly and offered great assistance in fuelling us up and guiding us to our transient slip. We found this to be one of the best marinas we stayed in during our 6 week journey through 3 of the Great Lakes. Beth was a great lady who assisted us with directions to places of interest in the area, offered us the use of the bicycles the marina has for its patrons and became a wonderful friend by the end of our 5 day stay. The facilities were excellent with clean private showers, secured with card access, and super friendly helpful staff. There is a chandlery right around the corner as well as a full service Boatworks right next door. A small plaza with an LCBO and grocery store and pub is a 10 minute walk away. A pleasant bicycle path along the lakeshore travels by the marina.
