Overall this was a good hotel. I did have some issues with the breakfast Buffet prepayment and the rude way that I some of he wait staff treated me. The bartenders were always very nice as was the room service staff. It appeared as though the staff were not communicating.
This hotel is located downtown and has many amenities all around it. Expect to pay $45 for valet parking or $19/day for parking your vehicle in the garage on your own. My room was on the 30th floor so I had amazing views. The trade off for having the great city views is space. The allotted space in the room is very small, my husband and I felt like we were on top of one another. For the price of the room I surely expected more and have received much more from other hotels. I was definitely disappointed the moment I stepped in the room. When entering the hotel you'll need to take an elevator to the 5th floor for their lobby area. The 5th floor is a very busy area so after getting off the elevators go left and then right for check-in. During my check-in there was only one attendant. After check-in you take a totally different hotel elevator that takes you to the rooms. I would NOT consider my room to be luxury, the refrigerator was a decent size but definitely not the best quality. You could not sit at the desk and open the refrigerator. If you opened the closet you could not go around the bed to get to the bathroom. You could open the bathroom door while sitting on the bed. I just expect better quality if I'm paying $200 for one night.
Minneapolis Marriott City Center offers a nice hotel experience with good set up for holding business meetings, conferences and even family stay. the staff is extremely friendly, and hospitable …
Great hotel & Great location, but terrible access. You have to play an elevator game to get from parking to hotel & vise versa.
Quiet hotel at this time. Friendly staff
Perfect location. Staff were great.
Room was clean. No bathroom ceiling fan. No hair dryer provided. Shower head too low for anyone taller than 5' 6". Parking ramp daily "discounted" rate was a ridiculously unwarranted charge. Convoluted trek to the parking ramp from room should have guaranteed free parking to hotel guests! Loud music downtown after 12:30 A.M. was bothersome. No way to turn on any "white noise" in room. I would not come back to this Marriott location.
From the moment we entered the Marriott we felt welcomed. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I do wish our TV and remote were better for the price but overall 9/10!!
Good experience. Clean nice room great view liked the bar area seating. Walking distance to the rail station and other places.
Titanium status elite member. Old hotel, desperately In need of an update. Musty smelling room with dingy old yellow stained curtains, old stained furniture and carpet is not worth $200 a night. I have 4 preferences - Extra towels, refrigerator, away from elevator and away from ice machine. Get into my room - right across from the ice machine and two down from the elevator...no refrigerator and 2 towels. Not to mention the absolute worst front desk service I’ve experienced to date. I stay in marriotts 100+ nights a year. Was supposed to be at this hotel for 3 nights but somehow there was an issue with my reservation. The manager literally tried to charge me 400 a night to correct the issue. Instead I checked out into the brand new AC down the street for $157 a night. Good riddance. You’ve been warned.
We stayed at the City Center Marriott January 2020 for a mini-vacation (Twins Fest and Timberwolves game.) Its location is fabulous for downtown events. As usual, the customer service was friendly and outstanding. We were fortunate to …
Nice, clean rooms. Good service. Helpful staff. I'm deducting a star because they need to invest in more sound proof windows. I stayed on floor 18 but could still hear plenty of street noise in my room. I was awakened multiple times each night by police and ambulance sirens. Other than that, no complaints.
I recently stayed here for one night. At check in waited over 45 minutes just TO check in. Reason the desk couldn't find my reservation. Even with me giving her the number. In the room as soon as you walk in it was really hot. Turned Down …
We attended an event at the Target Center and loved how close the location was! There are PLENTY of food options all around allowing everything to be in walking distance. We only wished access to the parking garage and sky way we’re more convenient and accessible; this was tricky to access and figure out.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself felt a little dated. Location is very convenient traveling for work and meetings in town.
We were put in a room below some heavy construction, which started promptly at 8am. When we called the front desk to ask if there was some sort of mistake, the manager took up the phone and offered “ear plugs or coffee”. Even with noise canceling headphones, it was impossible to sleep through that noise. Also, the prior night, we were in a rush to get to the MNF Vikings game, so we asked the valet to park our car. The valet explained that they only use one ramp, and it doesn’t fit cars above 6’2” in height. When we went to the front desk, they said the valet is a contractor, so Marriott won’t do anything. Eventually, we found parking ourselves and missed part of the game.
Great place to stay!! Very friendly and helpful staff!
Hotel is nice enough but so NOISY at night!! Rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. The lounge access was nice with breakfast in the morning and snacks and drinks available throughout the day. However, at night the street noise outside is unbearable and we got very little sleep. There is a nightclub nearby with loud, thumping music until the wee hours. Also police/ emergency sirens multiple times during the night both nights and a lot of loud vehicle noise each night with loud radios and revving engines.
This is a great hotel located a short walk from Target Field + many other points of interest in Minneapolis. The staff could not have been more courteous or helpful. The lobby is stylish and up to date. The overall hotel is very clean and …
From the staff to the rooms and the location to points of interest, the stay was wonderful. Really enjoyed myself while only experiencing part of what the hotel had to offer. Would definitely stay again.
Booked online for a 2 night stay. Their computer showed only 1 night. Ended up only staying 1 night because of the damned Sirens. I know it's not the hotel's fault, but there is an Ambulance service just up the street that feels it necessary to blast their sirens in the middle of downtown at 3 a.m. when there's very little traffic to speak of. The other posts about the rooms being dated are spot on. If you need a clue for that, the hair dryer they had in there has to be about 20 years old. The noise that the fan made inside the hair dryer sounded like it could fly apart at any moment. The housing was also split as if someone had dropped it on the floor. Other than the TV, the rooms are pretty dated, but aside from that and the sounds of Ambulance sirens waking you up every couple of hours, it's not bad.
First, the room is good, clean, and well appointed. I was mostly happy with the room. The A/C unit cycled about once every 5-minutes, making lots of noise throughout the night. There was no written instructions to use the "Data Hub". …
The hotel is very nice, located at the heart of downtown Minneapolis and five minutes' walk away from the blue line light rail which is connected directly to the airport. My favorite aspect was how spacious the rooms were, tho bedsheets were not my favorite, they were kind of starchy, and the wifi requires you to sign up for a rewards membership. The TV in the room was amazing with internet capabilities and the staff were kind. Great restaurants nearby and large popular stores too. Overall a great experience.
We really appreciated the warm and professional staff. The hotel is perfectly situated close to restaurants and transportation. Fantastic housekeeping staff. Our rooms were spotless and well attended every day. Food was tasty and a good value for the money.
Like I stated the breakfast was horrible other than the coffee and fruit, it wasn't complimentary considering the prices to stay at the hotel. Almost all of our meals were across the street at the Radisson. People were more courteous, and …
This was a fantastic get-away with extended family. Close proximity to Target Field. The rooms are clean and very peaceful. The public areas of the hotel are appealing and efficient. Parking is a breeze with the hotel ramp and the …
Friendly staff, clean, fair priced and most importantly Covid ready place to stay in downtown Minneapolis. Close to many nice restaurants. We stayed at this hotel twice in less than a year and we like it a lot.
We booked our stay using our Bonvoy points and were very pleased. Parking fee at the hotel was less than expected and the hotel was very clean and updated, including our room. The only things lacking were plastic drinking cups. We …
Pros: love the views from the room. the hotel looked clean and luxurious. love the checkin host or helper who communicated nicely to us about the rooms and our stay and was very …
The location is great. It is right in the middle of the city, in a great part of the city. We stayed in the executive suite for our wedding night, which was amazing. The room was on a corner with large windows overlooking different parts of the city. The service was tremendous as well. Would highly recommend staying there if you get the chance.
Hair dryer didn't work It would take 2 or 3 attempts to get thru to room service When I finally got thru the wine I ordered was missing Shower leaked
My stay here was for work/conference purposes, and I was very glad to be at a Marriott. Regardless of the fact I have status and am familiar with Marriotts, I have stayed at some that do not live up to the branding. This hotel does live up …
This Marriott location lives up to the tradition of excellence throughout the chain. The rooms are well appointed, up to date, and well cared for. Group meals were well prepared and excellent quality. Meeting rooms were comfortable. …
Nice hotel with large clean rooms. Staff are knowledgeable about to local area and helpful if you have any issues. The area around is filled with shops and restaurants. The pizza at the bar is very good and a decent selection of local beer.
A very comfortable stay with outstanding customer service.
A woman was screaming and being beaten up during the night of 7/30 and someone was knocking on my door. Had to call front desk 4 times before the front desk person herself came up to make it stop,...she said security was called but I never heard them
The open areas had loud blasting music, all hours of the day, felt like a casino. The M lounge was awesome except the music was blasting on in there plus CNN was on. It’s advertised as a work or relaxing space, but it had too much noise pollution. Food was great, room was great but the noise was a problem in public shared spaces.
I can get by with dated decor and expensive drinks in a hotel any day, but hospitality is all about service. At the City Center Marriott in Minneapolis this needs some work. The front desk and street level concierge are top notch, but the morning staff left me with a bad experience. After my work out, I went to the lobby buffet, a benefit of our group reservation. I got my plate and was looking for cutlery when the individual checking the buffet area asked if I needed something. "Silverware?". "It's out at the tables". I figured out where she must have been suggesting without any guidance and sat down. A group of wait staff was gathered around the wait station. "Uh... we're not open yet" said one, not even approaching. Mind you, it's 6 am and the tables are fully set. She gestured behind me and said "if you're a member, you can use the Platinum lounge.". I went over there and realized I had forgotten my key upstairs. So, here I go, around the lobby with a plate of food, to the front desk. I met the same lady I saw in the buffet earlier, and showed her my government ID to get a key. She printed one, so she must have seen that I'm a Bonvoy member, also. I said, "I'm going up to my room, can I just get some silverware.". "We don't have any silverware here.". Huh? For Pete's sake, if your a $240 a night (discounted) hotel guest, you get silverware. Delivered to your room. I've stopped staying at some of the big chains for less. I worked in the hotel industry for years and we would never treat a guest like that. See my video post.
Beautiful hotel in a perfect area. Wonderful business center, with everything you could possibly want/need. Even a …
The room is spacious and clean. The bar/restaurant is great. You're within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, shops and the light rail. I've stayed two years in a row for a Vikings game and will definitely stay again.
The parking garage is about a quarter mile walk! It's the most inconvenient parking I have ever encountered. You take two elevators, walk down several hallways, through the mall! That's right, the hotel is in a mall. It's horrible. The hotel …
The staff were friendly. My requests were followed through with. I plan to book here again when I’m in town.
Loved the area of being so close to many options downtown (shopping, restaurants, etc) The connecting skyway was amazing. Just wish we had more time to enjoy all the benefits of downtown. Staff were excellent at Marriott!
The Marriott City Center is conveniently located within downtown, and within easy walking distance of all professional sports arenas, and public transit. The entrance to the hotel is a bit confusing when coupled with the attached parking garage. Aside from the lack of a vent fan in the bathroom for use while showering, the accommodations were lovely and comfortable. The pillows on the bed were top notch!
I will never stay at a Marriott Property in the future. The alarm clock was defective; sounding every morning at 6:00am. This wake up was both unexpected and unwelcome after sleepless nights! The hotel did not disclose there was a nightclub at street level below my room. This room should not have been available for guest stays!!!
I'd love to give the hotel a 5 star but the booking experience was too awkward for that and the rooms were pretty noisy even up on the 17th floor. The rooms were clean and the location was ideal especially if you're headed to an event at the Target Center.
The room was way too small, the bed was uncomfortable, specially the pillows. No proper laptop desk to do computer work. …
We love this property. In this most recent stay, we stayed during some weekdays as well as the weekend (our more normal) and the rates for families are impacted negatively by the business travelers. It isn't as affordable for personal …
I stayed here some years back but now everything seems more upgraded and modern. Great view of Target Field. Fantastic room service and concierge. Thanks for the nice comp upgrade room. Perfect for all the downtown restaurants and events. Good skyway connections
My stay at Marriott City Center was overall very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view. The location is great. There was so much to see and do in close proximity. The only issue that I encountered was with the wifi connectivity.
The hotel is average compared to many other hotels I stay at. The priority is definitely conferences. Not enough concern about the customers that stays all year. The restaurant (excluding breakfast) is really not good. But, there are a lot …
I cannot stress enough how much the staff made this trip for me. Being very unfamiliar with the downtown Minneapolis area, every staff member I encountered, (front desk, concierge, management, housekeeping) were all remarkably professional …
City location was fine for access to points of interest. Room itself was clean and comfortable.
Awesome room sweet bathroom little small but nice amenities!! Worth the money if you'd be enjoying the night life of downtown!!
Very nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. The layout is different, as the lobby is on the 5th floor of the building, so you have to go up, then walk around to another set of elevators to get to your room. Our room faced the street, and there must be a nightclub nearby, as there was loud music playing until 1or 2 AM.
Have had a number of comfortable stays at this hotel. Rooms are quiet and service is exceptional. This hotel has a great location for business travelers. It has many of the amenities you would expect with the additional convenience factor.
Overall, the hotel was very pleasant. Staff were very friendly & helpful. In room dining and catered event food was FANTASTIC though the in room was very pricey. There should be bottled water and snacks available in vending machines, but …
We were able to walk to both sporting events
The reason for the one star is because of the room. We had a queen bed on the 22nd floor in one of the end rooms. It was an extremely small room and the walls are paper thin. The couple in the next room where having a conversation, it literally sounded like they were in our room. My wife and I felt as if we were apart of their conversation cause you could hear them crystal clear and even when they went to the bathroom. I think for how expensive it is per night, people should be awarded some privacy. I would not recommend this place if you are going with a spouse or partner and are wanting private alone time. But if you want to share your intimate experience with everyone around you, this is a great place! Everyone at the hotel was amazingly helpful and courteous. Our front desk staff was super, great attitude, knowledgeable and just an awesome person. Also, if you want a fridge you just have to ask and they will bring one up for you!
Stayed here for a conference - everything was fabulous ..I cant comment on the price as we had a group rate - but the hotel has a neat layout for the rooms .. The food for our conference was very good .. no complaints .. getting around the …
I had a great stay and would highly recommend staying at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center. It is located in a great area and within walking distance of many city attractions. A definite 10.
Overall, we had a great stay. The service was excellent - everyone was respectful, helpful, and friendly. We were on the 30th floor and had an amazing view of the city. The rooms and common areas were beautiful and very well kept. I will definitely stay there again when I visit MN.
Fantastic hotel with the most attentive and professional staff; from check-in to housekeeping to dining/bar. Fabulous venue for a conference or just traveling through. Food was wonderful. Only "not-perfect" rating was that the suites do not …
Generally when you stay downtown in a large city at a large hotel chain you have a level of expectation on the service you will receive. I was not impressed. Staff was less than pleasant. Hotel rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The …
I love this hotel. From the staff, the appearance, to the amenities- it's AMAZING!!!!! I have stayed at more expensive hotels that didn't have have the customer service level of this place. As a person that travels more than 15 times a …
Marriott city centre recently hosted a company party we attended. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The space provided was welcoming and beautifully prepared. They provided an excellent meal and once again, staff was very professional yet friendly. Our room was comfortable and ready for us when we arrived. We stay here this weekend every year and have never had any complaint with either the staff or the accommodations.
I booked my hotel with closeness to the Target Center in mind as it is in January that we were in town for a basketball game. I booked a room and paid extra for a city view for my son to enjoy, but we just got a view of parking garages and …
Upon arriving found that parking for valet was extremely limited so had to park in a parking ramp and carry the luggage down to Check in ourselves. Stayed there for a conference last weekend. All the elevators were not working which made for a long standing and waiting for the elevators to arrive going up and coming down. I also left my charger there upon checking out of the hotel. I called the hotel and was told it had not been turned in. Very disappointed in a four-star hotel experience.
Giving 2 starts because of the nice view and great location in downtown. However my room was NOT clean. There were bottle caps laying around and I noticed food droppings that weren’t from me. Disgusting!
The Marriott City Center is a nice hotel but noise from the street invades rooms and air conditioning doesn't work very well. Additionally, and sadly, like so many Marriott properties, modern and sterile decor has replaced more traditional and relaxing decor.
While the rooms were clean and views nice, the service and amenities were very disappointing. Paying $10.95 per day extra for in room Wifi is ridiculous, concierge staff were rude and dismissive, our air conditioning unit leaked (water raining from ceiling), and to top it off I returned from my stay to find that they had charged my credit card twice. Not impressed and wouldn't stay again.
Excellent check in staff and M Club. Breakfasts were great. Room very nice (thanks for the upgrade to a suite). One word of warning, if you choose the "green option" for additional Marriott points, the cleaning staff didn't set foot in my …
Staff is professional, accommodating, and welcoming. Room was clean, well stocked with amenities, and kept at that high standard through out my stay. The bed!! Best ever!!! The restaurant and bar/lounge had great food and a good vibe. Not …
Just had a wonderful first time stay at the Marriott City Center - centrally located to everything; excellent service and accommodations. We will definitely be back.
Used suite night upgrade and had a lovely bi-level suite with a great view. Clean room, friendly staff.
The stay was phenomenal. The staff was friendly and we had requested and early stay and they upgraded our room to help meet our needs. The app for the hotel works great. Phone key is awesome. Check in and out through the app with ease. …
Normally we love staying at this location but we had a horrible experience this past weekend. When we checked into the hotel, the gentleman was very kind and charismatic. We were staying at the hotel because we were attending a concert in St. Paul. My sister is an employee at a Marriott and I am an employee at a Hilton hotel. We arrived late in the night back to our room and were told we were getting charged extra because they checked on the room during the night and my sister was not there. The night staff was extremely disrespectful to me and my sister. The night manager on duty was rude and did not treat us like human beings. There were no complaints of any problems with out room specifically and the staff refused to explain to us why we were getting charged extra even the morning after upon checkout. We had one receipt with the original price and they took it from us, without our consent and gave us a new receipt with a higher price. I could not believe we were treated this way at a Marriott hotel, especially when my sister is an employee and I also work at the front desk of a Hilton. I know how to treat guests, but in my opinion, I was not treated like a guest at this location.
What an experience. This hotel has bi-level suites with 2 floors, lots of space, and amazing views. The club lounge was also a great experience. Great service and location. This Marriott has so much to offer.
Hotel was situated in an ideal location with so many stores and restaurants available around the area. Convention center was 14 min walk from the hotel. Room was comfortable and perfect for our 4 day stay. What I love the most was that …
Nice hotel. Decent size rooms and clean. Conceirge lounge was great...great breakfast selections and verynice spread put out in evenings...far more than the typical cheese and crackers that has become the norm at most Marriotts over the …
I was here on a business conference. Everything went well, accommodation-wise and the food they made my conference was delicious, though they were cooking and serving for hundreds. My conference was serving lunches but not breakfasts, so I went to the lobby restaurant/bar for breakfast. I ordered one muffin ($4) and they gave me two telling me don't worry about it. I also forgot to return the key and they were very nice then, too. So, well remembered.
Room was appointed with sufficient items. Mattress was cleanest I had ever come across. However, the toilet had urine stains on the seat. Front desk personnel were helpful and cheery. Good location to skyway. Overall, I'd stay here again.
The Marriott is very nice! You are welcomed right away by a polite valet and guided to where to park. The check in process was painless and quick! The beds are comfortable (we stayed in a double bed regular room) and everything is nice and clean.
Great experience. Clean room, extremely friendly and efficient staff. Easy walking distance to Target Field for the baseball games we attended. Location afforded many options for dining and relaxation. Parking ramp in close proximity …
The guest services staff was wonderful. We were staying in a block for a wedding but our room wasn't ready and I had accidentally listed it for 1 person not 4. They quickly made some changes and were able to accommodate our early arrival, for 4 people, and near the rest of the wedding party. We were truly grateful!
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel while attending a concert at Target Center. The proximity to the event was convenient, staff friendly and attentive even though check in was extremely …
Great location with easy access to offices downtown. The hotel lobby is on the 5th floor and is not very obvious for someone coming via the Skyway. The decor is dated and requires an update but the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The low rating is mainly due to the experience at the restaurant. It is definitely understaffed. It took a while before I could get any attention. And it was quite indifferent when it came. I did consider not leaving a tip but disnt want to make it any worse for the staff.
Exceptional hotel- 5 star *****- the hotel staff went well beyond the needs of its customers- during my entire stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The Club lounge was amazing and employees were sweet, nice, and professional. We were …
This is a convenient, skyway accessible Marriott brand in the Twin Cities. I like the location, it's clean, spacious and service is great. Dining is good, and M Club has great breakfast. There isn't much in terms lunch, so perhaps they could increase those options.
If I could give this hotel and it's staff a zero I would but the only option starts at 1-5. I stayed here on business 2/3-2/6/2020. When I checked in I specifically stated that I did not want an adjourning room yet when I went to my room it was adjourning and was not clean. I went directly back downstairs and politely told the customer service representative that I asked not to have an adjourning room and she begin to look for a different room. I was then given another room that seemed fine from initial enter. Upon my checking out the room I noticed that there were two towels on the counter in the bathroom. They were wet along with the kleenex box. I called housekeeping and they came up and apologized for the wet/dirty towels changed them out and changed out the kleenex box. I went about my evening, set out my toiletries on the bathroom counter, took my shower and went to bed. Early in the morning hours around 4:30am I heard dripping water but did not get up to check it out because I figured it was just the shower head draining. When I got up to get ready for work, I opened the bathroom door and met my feet on the floor coming out of the bathroom. The countertop was completely wet and the sink was overflowing with brown water that seem to have waste in it! The bathroom and water smelled of sewage. All my makeup and personal toiletries were wet from the sewage water! I immediately called downstairs and was on hold for someone to come to the phone for about 10 to 15 minutes. I eventually hung up and then called back through the 800 number. I asked that they send someone up immediately. Housekeeping came up and was amazing at what had happened and begin to apologize. I told her that I was late for a business meeting and needed a room to change in right away. She helped me move my things to another room where I changed clothes. This room that I was in was an adjourning room and I stated to her that I did not want to stay in that room. She stated to me that she would have them assign me a new room and they would move my things to that room. I headed out over 1 hour late to my business meetings. When I returned to the hotel that evening around 7:30/8pm. I was told that I was assigned to the same room that I had changed in that morning. The front desk told me that they did not have another room to move me to other than a suite. I told her why couldn't they just put me in the suite and I was then told that those rooms were booked; however just minutes before I was told that the only rooms available were suites. I told the front desk clerk that this was really unacceptable and I wanted to talk to a manager. The manager came out and said she was sorry for the inconvenience and that she would give me $50 off my bill and 20,000 points. This was not accommodating! First off, 20,000 points isn't even an one night stay at any Marriott property. In addition $50 would not necessarily benefit me since this was a business trip paid for by my company. I was too tired to continue to argue with them so I went to my room only to find out that the room had not be cleaned since I left that morning. My dirty towels and washcloths were still on the floor. I called down and said that I needed my room serviced immediately! Lastly, it didn't account for the personal items I had to throw away (makeup, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.). I do not feel the representative went out of her way to make this right in any way. I have never had this type of experience at a hotel in all my years of traveling!
We arrived around pass 9pm. I had a booking number and presented to the receptionist. The receptionist was kind and super helpful to immediately attend to my request regarding my booking. She even provided her advise as to more efficient …
Lovely downtown hotel. Staff was excellent! Restaurant food delicious.Very LOUD bar nearby with open air patio blasted music into the wee hours of the morning. No rest for the weary. ????????????
From check-in through a four day stay, the Marriott provided an extremely comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond. The Concierge Level served exceptional breakfast, staffed by a wonderful …
Rooms were clean and comfortable. All staff were super nice, front desk and restaurant/bar.
Loved staying here, it was clean and everyone was so friendly and helpful!
Hotel staff was great to work with and was helpful in finding late food options after a long flight. Newly renovated rooms are great and fresh.
Very nice hotel with everything that is expected of a downtown Marriott. Rooms are very nice and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful.. Nice views from the upper floors. There is a huge gym with lots of good equipment. There is a bar and lounge. Parking is next door and costs $15 on weekends and $26 during the week. Location is nice, with lots of good restaurants around. Will definitely stay here again.
Tom the manager was able to help me out with an issue from a 3rd party booker. Frustration free. He's the man.
Carpets not vacummed, pantry/market had very few items for purchase (e.g. No Advil), restaurant closed for dinner and bar only had 3 items available on menue.
Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, and good experience. My only complaint was the floor in my room was clearly not vacuumed. Crumbs and soda can tabs on the floor. The Pizza Luce delivered right to the room was delicious too! Would definitely stay again!
Housekeeping did not keep up, there were bags of garbage in the hallways, a foul smell all weekend, no room service or restaurant, I had an invasion of privacy where there was a mix up in their computer system, I was never apologized to, and manager was rude!! Never again
We checked in late afternoon, and felt very welcome. Check in process was simple and quick. We were offered help with our bags, but didn't need it. The lobby area was spectacular. We got into our room, which was spotless, and felt brand new. It was hard to leave, as the beds were incredibly comfortable. When I booked the room, I requested extra pillows. They were in place when we arrived. House keeping had our room cleaned early in the day, which was great. All of the hotel staff was awesome. With greatings and making sure everything was perfect for our stay. We ordered room service later Sunday night, and I could not believe how quick it was. The gentleman who brought it up was great. I would highly recommend staying at the Marriott City Centre. I know I will be back.
excellent cleanliness, helpful and accommodating staff
I’ve stayed at numerous Marriott locations and was pleased with the room overall. We had a “city view” that was a view of the target center and a parking garage so that was below expectations. We were visiting for a concert at the State …
First, thank you! We did not have a single guest say anything but compliments about their room and the accommodations during our wedding weekend. We had an amazing time: we loved the M lounge to catch up with our out of town guests, the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about local dining and delivery options, and assisted our guests in every way imaginable. On the morning of the wedding, the concierge confirmed with us our wedding reception location, guest shuttle services, and other details so that they could assist any of our wedding guests. By far our favorite part was the ability for online room block booking, this was the first time I had ever seen a room block with online booking, and our guests absolutely loved it! It was convenient for them and us as we were able to provide a direct link on our wedding website. In addition, as the bride, I was able to track which of our guests had booked a room at my own convenience. This allowed me to send polite reminders to our guests from out of town to ensure they booked their room on time. Thank you for being part of our amazing weekend!
I arrived late and yet everyone on staff was cheerful and ready to assist. I got right in and it was off to the room. The room was incredibly clean, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I also love that they have plenty of …
Great views of the city from our room lending a neat perspective to the city. The on site lounge was upbeat and very warm. Great beverages too! Staff were open and welcoming with an energetic attitude. Would recommend. Excellent rates given its location, amenities, and overall quality.
The overall experience of the Marriott was wonderful. We did have a few issues before arriving but they were taken care of in a prompt time frame and professional manner. The event people helping us couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. My room was very spacious and well kept. Marriott City Center has a great location.
This Marriott is very clean and has very friendly staff. It is literally one block from the Target Center and three blocks from Target Field, so a short walk to these two venues. There are also very good restaurants within a block or two of this hotel.
We had a great 5-day stay. They upgraded us to a suite and the room was magnificent. It was as large a room as I’ve seen - two floors. The front desk staff were courteous and quick. And the connection to the Skyway is very convenient. The staff at the bar are also quick and efficient. And the prices aren’t to bad for food and beverages.
It was a mixed bag. The room was nice, the coffee machine and the iron were nice. It was good that there were sufficient electric outlets. The style of the room was nice and cosy. …
We attended a large conference. The escalators were not working and only 2/5 elevators would pick up people from the 4th floor. We waited a minimum of 45 minutes every time a conference session ended to get an elevator. Finally we left the …
Beautiful hotel with a very kind and courteous staff! Exceptional service with comfortable, clean and stylish renovation! I love this hotel in Downtown Minneapolis! We will be hosting one of hopefully many events at this location!
Nice hotel and amenities..would recommend it to friends and family especially for large gatherings
As usual, the facility was great and the service was fantastic. Our meeting room was spacious, clean, and professional. The service team comes running if you need anything. …
Our stay was nice. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, mostly up to date, altho there are no usb ports in any of the rooms for charging. Not that it was their fault we forgot our chargers at home but at a hotel trying to be up to date and modern …
Everyone at the hotel was amazingly helpful and courteous. Our front desk staff was super, great attitude, knowledgeable and awesome sense of humor in getting us all checked in. Kudos to her! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.
Really great service. Friendly and helpful staff. Beds very comfy. Very clean.
The staff of the Marriott City Center is fantastic. I just had the opportunity to visit again and they remembered me after a single visit 2 years ago! The M Club is very large with a wonderful staff. The hotel is close to everything …
We spent a lot of time in the bar and restaurant area, with clients and team meetings. The ladies and staff behind the bar were amazing. So attentive and helpful and …
Love this hotel - I had requested a refrigerator and extra towels and they were there when we arrived - no waiting for someone to bring them up. I requested a high floor and we were on the 30th - breathtaking views of Minneapolis. It was …
My wife and I stayed there last Saturday for our anniversary. It was amazing. Everyone made us feel like royalty while we were walking to the check in line. While checking in, there were mini deserts being offered to eat. The staff were amazing and upgraded us to there best room at no charge. The room was clean and luxurious with amazing views. The best part was also the breakfast buffet offered the next morning with an actual chef cooking eggs to order. We have stayed at many hotels downtown, but by far this was the best experience ever. We will be Marriot guests forever!!
My room was beautiful and clean like the rest of the hotel. The hotel was secure and safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is pricey but all of the fruit was ripe and absolutely perfect as well as the eggs, potatoes and sausage. I will stay here again!
This hotel is extremely nice and has an extraordinary staff. I spent two weeks here and really enjoyed it. I could walk where I needed to go or public transportation was readily available. The staff at the front door were extremely helpful …
Never visited Minneapolis as my personal and business travels fortunately never brought me to this city. The hotel was clean upon entering and I asked for a quiet room off id the street. I ended up on the 27th floor and the noise from the …
Facility was good. However all areas were understaffed which negatively impacted service.
Mobile key did not work with my phone, parking was confusing. Not sure what the $211 charge was but hoping it is the security deposit. Room was great.
I’ve been staying at Marriott hotels so many times with my families but this property would be my least favorite. Hotel room has nothing impressive and technology and amenities in the room were so outdated. I had much higher standard than what this hotel is offering. I was very disappointed.
Love this hotel, have stayed here twice now, they have great views.
I was in town for a work trip, and everyone from the attendants at the street level, to the desk agents, to the concierge attendants were sincerely friendly and helped to make my first of many stays here one that I will never forget. The …
I was disappointed by the lack of amenities, specifically no microwave or fridge. I feel that if those aren't available, then these rooms should be considerably more affordable. I also observed some of the furniture peeling and that …
