All for the love of not weddings but £££. Not impressed was hoping for something special for us as business owners to enjoy, as Wedding Wire becomes "Hitched" but faced with now having to pay to keep my profile intact, to say nothing about the amount of time a self-employed business owner placing a business profile going from 100% to 45%, with the removal of all your real weddings, offers and deals, and having to get verified reviews all over again!! What an outrage "Hitched," with many business owners now having to re-do all their hard work because you can't put their original profiles back, and now having to pay for that privilege is ridiculous & greedy, Especially at hard times as what the wedding industry is going through now, Shame on you, for hitting the already hard wedding industry. For that very reason I can't be asked to spend my valuable time all over again to get my profile back to 100% after taking many hours whilst it was run by first Wedding spot, then wedding wire, now the more greedy Hitched!. Many of us are just small business owners and for you to do this and now and attempt to charge us to upgrade costs is disgusting, & shameful, anything for easy Pounds ££s eh well no thanks, I will be deleting my profile and going else where. Shame on you... Hitched response... As hitched.co.uk is and has always been a paid for platform due to our domination. Thanks, nice to see that you care for the small suffering business owner at this time.!!!

We haven't been with hitched for long but have found them to be a fantastic asset to our business. The team are always there to help, and all questions and needs are responded to really quickly. It's nice to receive tips and newsletters which shows the team actually care about their supplies. We have signed up with a few directories like hitched, and have found them to be less affective. The website is nicely laid out and is very easy to use, We can't sing their praises enough (Highly recommended).

Having used Hitched for nearly 10 years now as an Event Manager, I do not believe there is a better wedding website out there for Bride & Grooms to make their initial enquiry! The customer service we receive from Hitched is second to none, a massive shout out to Charlotte who has always been brilliant! If you are wanting to increase your wedding revenue, use Hitched!

I got married here on “mad Friday” last year at The Fleece Countryside Inn at Barkisland and honestly had the best day of my life. We had over 300 people at night and 125 in the day and everything was textbook perfect, even after a few issues arose outside their service. Harriet is THE most understanding and compassionate wedding planner in the world. I never thought my wedding would happen. But it did and even my children can’t bare to think of it as all they want is to be back in that amazing moment. Thanks to Harriet and all your amazing staff for an absolutely perfect day xxxxxx

Extremely disappointed! I can’t believe a so called leading wedding magazine such as hitched provided me with a poor service. Not a single gig generated from hitched despite doing everything they asked of me! A waste of £200! Suppliers be warned!

A few years back I had no idea about marketing or how to raise my brand awareness within the wedding industry. I was approached by Hitched and they offered me guidance and a good understanding on how they could help me. I was being cautious (probably tight) at first and I went for one of their cheaper packages. It delivered okay results but Hitched, for no cost, for a short period showed me what their other packages could do for my business. This gave me a good insight on what I needed and I’m glad they stepped in and helped. I now have one of their premium packages and it’s working great me. My account manager Jo regularly checks up on me, looks after me, she’s friendly and down to earth. I highly recommend Hitched if you’re a wedding photographer looking to get more bookings.

Aiden was brilliant today over the phone to me and I appreciated him being patient with my concentration problems. Also highly appreciated Aiden having made the effort to keep his word to me (the topic of promises feels like a sensitive subject to me essentially). Aiden's an all round great I feel - hope that this good review mention attempt helps him out with things like pay rises, promotions and perks at work. We've been with Hitched with 2 national listings for a number of years and haven't had many dealings with them until now. We've always received Inflated stats determined to show how well your ads are performing but the reality is that this is just something out of a Disney film. Our main complaint is that they will publish negative reviews from people who have never engaged in your services despite hitched having a reject button. We received a very snotty email from Hitched saying they've noticed some negative reviews against us and instead of reaching out to see if they are in fact genuine they are going to publish them anyway regardless. Some of the false feedback left was slanderous calling our company scammers, damaging our reputation and future business. We immediately emailed hitched to cancel our 2 national listings and they obliged immediately taking our listings down. Then told us we'd still owe them £630+vat or they would take legal action to recover the money. They are a glorified paid ads site with no way of knowing or vetting the reviews left for companies. Anyone can leave a review for anyone without any background checks. Hitched could have easily reached out to ask for some clarity which we would have offered and proved genuine from fictional slander. Instead they just sent a very blunt email to say they will be publishing them regardless. No customer service, they WILL threaten legal action to try and get the money, they've done it to many other unhappy clients who have aired caution over TrustPilot. Take heed, any other business or deranged persons can leave any kind of feedback against you and Hitched won't care, but they will want your money!

Booked a service with one of their providers (Vogue Wedding DJs) who took deposit then went unresponsive and essentially ran away with our money. Contacted Hitched.Co.Uk to give a review on the supplier and they refused to put one up therefore keeping the supplier ont heir site with selective 5 star ratings, meaning other people are likely to suffer as a result. Even called to explain and they couldn't be bothered. I wouldn't trust them or their supplier ratings and reviews listed on their site anymore. Have had to report the supplier to action fraud and try to recover our deposit money but haven't been able to and lost £200.

SUPPLIERS AVOID. *Scam This company are charlatans. They make false promises and are incredibly rude when you are being very polite. As a supplier the nearly 1000 pounds we spent on their services we expect a decent level. They have refused to refund the money for the remaining time we have left with them and therefore we have had to go down the path of legal action against hitched. Dont trust what they say they will do.

AVOID! If you are a supplier avoid this company. They will trick you into a £650.00 contract. They handle everything over the phone so nothing is recorded. They told us that we could cancel our contract at anytime however when I tried I was told "Phoebe" never said we could. Very disappointed in this company. Would have been good if it led to work however we can go weeks without even 1 view on our profile and on other platforms we receive work.

Great wedding planning tools. Shame they charge vendors to list on there as I ended up using a different site to find vendors that had a lot more listed. The free wedding website and planning tools make this a must have for wedding planning alongside other vendor listing sites

I did not receive a good service for the value I paid for their service, I got nothing back but empty promises. I was told I would get featured on their Social Media postings but throughout the year this did not happen. The service needs to improve instead of trying to scam money from suppliers and promise them more leads. Not impressed! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

This company will ask you to sign a year long supplier contract as a private individual meaning you will not have a 14 day cooling off period on your contract if you decide they are not for you. If they truly believed in their product they wouldn't operate like this.

WRITING AS A SUPPLIER. Hitched seems to make absolute sense as a supplier. It's the number 1 wedding planning site. Why wouldn't you want to be listed? Well, two reasons. 1. Signing up as a supplier costs. But that's not the issue. The issue is the false economy that's been forced into play. Basically, if you don't pay full subscription or beyond (spotlight, etc), you're money is going into a cavernous wishing well. To rub salt in, they'll instantly try to upsell via email you but you have to call them back to do so. 2. The user experience of the supplier backend is awful. It's slow, it's clunky, badly designed, fiddly to operate and most of all - utterly confusing when you first land there. There's not much in the way of a guide to help you out and get your page set up like there is on Google or Facebook and I couldn't even tell if I was actually live without some of my own digging (and suddenly realising point 1 in the process.) So to sum up the value of hitched as a supplier? Right now, it feels very low. SEO and social engagement will likely get 99.9% of people most of their work over Hitched - the only cost for that being time.

Unfortunate experience to start, as our website didn't work at all. Took over two weeks to get it up and running. Really difficult to contact anyone over the phone (actually near impossible), but eventually customer service improved and were really helpful and lovely in the end, and the website does look great. Just a shame the IT side of things let us down at the beginning.
