Totally stepping up their game with vegan food! Last two times I have been here the vegan meals were great and included decadent vegan cake! There was falafel with bruschetta which was quite a good combination and the two cakes were chocolate peanut butter and a chocolate coffee cake. They were mousse like rather than a cake cake - so good! And one of the staff Saquib is so nice and totally looks after you for any allergies and food restrictions. He has gone out of his way to make sure I have things to eat. Awesome service and would definitely recommend.

The food and wait staff are great. The space itself is wonderful. I rated it 3 stars because of an unfortunate occurence that happened last time I was at Fed Hall. My friends and I had just come from a friend's place and my friend had a few beers in her bag which where taken by security on arrival and we were told that my friend could have them back after the event. At the end of the event security refused to give the beers back to my friend which was particularly disappointing as they were high end craft beers. Otherwise the venue was good.

I was at Fed Hall for an Eco summit. It is a nice venue. It is a versatile space that can be configured for various events. UW Food Services catered a continental breakfast and a lunch. Both of them were lovely. I woukdnrste them each a 7 out of 10, which is perfectly adequate for university catering to the masses.

I caution anyone who wants to organize an event here. These people will quote you with one price and once you agree to it & as the date of the event approaches, will keep adding more costs and make up additional terms that lead to more costs onto the bill. They even made up fake costs after the event happened, pretending that the cost of labour for bartenders was OVER $27/h. They are not honest people and will try their hardest to take advantage of you. It is a beautiful venue but be very careful if you choose to host your event with these flat out scammers.

We had our annual Christmas luncheon at Fed Hall. It was catered by UW Food Services. Their service was terrific. I had 7 people RSVP the morning of, and Food Services were very helpful in accommodating the extra people. The food was delicious. I heard many positive comments from those sitting around me.
