Blue Violet events comes very highly recommended. Cailey and Nicole were able to navigate the ups and downs of our original date being postponed, followed by many other roadblocks and restrictions. They were supportive throughout the entire process and were so encouraging the day would end beautifully. It did indeed. Our original date was June 2020, followed by December 2020. I decided to book with Blue Violet for day of coordination and florals/design after envying their instagram page for years. Cailey initially helped me plan my perfect wedding and was absolutely wonderful to work with. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced us to to postpone our wedding for one year. Cailey was supportive and understanding through that process and made the hard decision to postpone much easier. During the year we postponed Cailey went on mat leave and Nicole stepped in. Nicole was able to seamlessly transition into the role and helped me navigate the wedding planning process despite the ever-changing COVID-19 restrictions. Nicole was available for frequent check-ins and ensured I was informed and supported through the ups and downs of the pandemic. On the wedding day, Nicole ensured the day went smoothly and kept everything on track. Alex took care of the florals/design and was able to bring my perfect vision to life (she was also wonderful to work with during the planning process). I had so many comments on my boquet and all of the other florals. I would highly recommend Blue Violet to anyone planning a wedding or event! They are not only great at what they do, they are absolute gems to work with!

Cailey and the Blue Violet team are delightful to work with! They did an amazing job making sure everything and everyone was ready to go when they had to be, and kept us totally organized the whole night. Having Blue Violet meant that everyone, including us, our wedding party, close family, and emcees were able to enjoy the day to the fullest without being burdened by logistical responsibilities on the wedding day. Even with last minute weather changes that forced us to change up our dinner location, they managed to put together an arrangement that turned out even better than the original plan. Overall, they are awesome people and great at what they do!

My husband and I hired Blue Violet Events for a day of coordinator for our wedding day on April 10, 2021. Throughout the entire experience it, it felt like we picked the wedding planning package! They were so responsive, always willing to answer any question I had, and made our day so special. We had to push our date to June 12, 2021 and they were fantastic every step of the way. Cailey Wilkes and Nicole Grant were the absolute dream team. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding day perfect! We also hired Alex Goodman from Blue Violet Events, you will not be disappointed with Alex in charge of your florals and decor! Our arbour was so beautiful, and when we moved our date we had to cancel the flowers she had already ordered and order new ones for June. She handled it so professionally, and eased any of our concerns. Our florals and decor were so gorgeous! 10/10 company all around.

My time working with Cailey at Blue Violet Events was a bit of a mixed bag. At the beginning during our initial meeting she was very bubbly and positive and it seemed like a good fit. However after the deposit was paid it took us more than 3 months for her to pass along a phone number to contact their partner styling team - when we did they came in $2k over budget. Finally when Covid-19 hit Cailey who was yet to start on our wedding planning (as she was hired for day of coordination) fought hard to pressure us to pay the full contracted amount. If other couples find themselves in this situation, know that companies are not allowed to profit from Covid-19 cancelations and this does fall under an act of God. As an act of good will we left a small fee to cover the extremely basic spreadsheets provided. If you need wedding planning help grab the wedding wire app!!

I can't speak highly enough about BVE! Not only was Cailey a delight to work with in the planning stages - her correspondence was prompt and professional, our meetings were efficient and fun, and her CALM was infectious every step of the way - but she and her team were complete PROS on the big day, and it was an absolute pleasure to have them running the show for us. The Whistler weather kept us on our toes all week, but Cailey and her team never faltered in their positive outlook and I had no doubt that if the sky opened up, the BVE team would still execute our vision flawlessly. Like little wedding fairies, they were behind the scenes making all the magic happen, which allowed us to completely enjoy every single moment of the day. My husband and I got married back in early June and it was the most perfect day, largely thanks to the BVE team! From the point of inquiry to the the actual wedding day, Cailey and Nicole were so comfortable and easy to work with. They provided comprehensive answers to all of our questions, were timely with all of their responses, and were so diligent with following-up. Initially, we opted for an elopement package, but about two weeks before our wedding the province started to ease-up the COVID restrictions and Cailey and Nicole made it so easy to accommodate all of our last minute changes that we ended up going from an intimate elopement to hosting a small wedding. I also worked with Alex on the team to design our arbour and ceremony decor and she immediately understood my style and vision and executed it PERFECTLY. From the beginning of our working relationship, Cailey (and Alex) were warm, creative, flexible, professional, and kind. They had brilliant ideas to bring our dreams to life and we planned what was sure to be the most epic wedding of all time. They always double-checked everything and they were responsive to our endless questions, concerns, and musings during the planning process. This original plan was for a large wedding in March 2020 which we had planned for over two years together… but had to cancel it less than a week out due to COVID. We were devastated, but Cailey got to work to get every penny possible back for us, helped us sort out who was still holding on to deposits based on contracts (many were non-refundable), and did so with a smile on her face while also facing both personal and professional hardships of the pandemic. Cailey was patient and encouraging while we decided what move we should make. We chose to postpone our wedding until March 2021, and try to have the exact same celebration a year later. Cailey contacted everyone and set a new plan in place for us. As the summer went by and we did not see much improvement in the restrictions, my now husband and I decided to pull the trigger. We hopped on the phone with Cailey and told her we wanted to get married less than 8 weeks from then. She was so happy and excited for us, and immediately contacted all of our vendors to fast track our wedding (and cut it down in size significantly). Cailey managed to find a date on the weekend of our choosing where we used almost every single one of our original vendors, putting all of our non-refundable deposits to use. I cannot stress enough how unbelievably brilliant our micro wedding was. The vendors, who had been suggested by Cailey initially, blew us away in everything they did. The whole day was perfect - the photos, the video, the live stream (which was a HIT!), the ceremony, the reception, the dinner. All our vendors fit in so seamlessly and executed flawlessly. The florals and decor were the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Our small guest list was blown away, but nobody more than my husband and I. Besides the unmatchable professionalism and dedication to this business and to her clients, Cailey is a wonderful person. She is exactly who you want in charge of the organization leading up to and on your big day. She is funny, friendly, super positive, but runs a tight ship and makes sure everything is just as you planned. She takes care of everyone and makes it look effortless. Cailey planned this second wedding, which had similar elements to our first wedding but was extremely different in various ways, as if it were part of her original contract. I wish every bride could work with Cailey for her full services, and I would highly recommend Blue Violet to family, friends, and strangers alike.
