The best places I've seen: Agora de Québec before the renovations, ACDC at the Olympic stadium, U2 at the Montreal racecourse, Metallica at L'Isle Sainte-Hélène park, the FEQ has a good intention despite the great distance from the stage ... The thing they all had in common: a raised stage of about 3 feet. At this height, in a wheelchair, we are at the same height as the standing festival-goers. With this elevated platform, we could stand right in front of the VIPs without hiding anyone. Ask Dominic S. Fugère, the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivières has understood with 2 very different places that raise us to the level of the show. For safety, at the entrance of the section there are 2 types of speed bumps to pass electricity and water. If you only knew how much of a problem these bumps are! There is nothing safe if we have to quickly evacuate the disabled area. The organizers should have provided an extended bridge to allow the wheelchair to pass without getting stuck between the 2 speed bumps. Thank you for being proactive in this file and do not hesitate to contact me if you need. (Original) Bonjour FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières, c'est vrai qu'au moment où j'ai posté ce message, je n'avais pas l'humeur à expliquer la solution. J'ai vu au-dessus de 80 spectacles dans ma vie. Les meilleurs endroits que j'ai vus : agora de Québec avant les rénovations, ACDC au stade olympique, U2 à l'hippodrome de Montréal, Metallica au parc de L'Isle Sainte-Hélène, le FEQ a une bonne intention malgré la grande distance de la scène... La chose qu'ils avaient tous en commun : un stage surélevé d'environ 3 pieds. À cette hauteur, en fauteuil roulant nous sommes à la même hauteur que les festivaliers debouts. Avec cette plate-forme élevée, nous pourrions nous situer tout juste devant les VIP sans cacher personne. Demande à Dominic S. Fugère, le Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières a compris avec 2 endroits bien différents qui nous soulèvent au niveau du spectacle. Pour la sécurité, à l'entrée de la section se trouve 2 espèces de dos-d'âne pour faire passer l'électricité et l'eau. Si tu savais à quel point ces bosses nous posent problème ! Il n'y a rien de sécuritaire si nous devons évacuer rapidement la zone handicapée. Les organisateurs auraient dû prévoir un pont allongé pour permettre au fauteuil de passer sans rester coincé entre les 2 dos-d'âne. Merci d'être proactif dans ce dossier et n'hésitez pas à me contacter si vous avez besoin.
