Naphisha and her entire team at The Perfect Setting were an absolute delight to work with for my brother's wedding. We were so glad we picked Naphisha for my brother's walima decor. From the very beginning she was incredibly creative and talented. She understood our preferences and went the extra mile on designing sets and proposals and understood exactly what my brother was looking for and his aesthetic. She managed to combine my mom and my brother's vision and still make it look classy. The actual day, she was incredible. She went the extra mile with making sure everything was perfect and her professional conduct allowed us to trust her completely! All our guests were blown away with the centre pieces and they stage as soon as they entered the venue. Truly one of the most beautiful wedding decor I had ever seen (bias as it may sound). My family and I would recommend Naphisha 100 times over to everyone!!!

Nafisa helped my husband and I with all of our events - two banquet halls and two houses. She helped us create and evolve our vision so all of our events we literally the perfect setting. What I liked most about her is she provided us with her time throughout the process and was the easiest vendor to coordinate with. We knew we were in good hands. I don't know where to begin. I have admired Naphishas work from the moment i stepped into one of the weddings she did decor for. I had decided, if i was able i would have her decorate my wedding when the time comes. When the time did come, i tried to reach out to her and couldnt get a hold, and almost booked another decorator. The day before i finalized with someone else, i tried her one more time, it went to answering machine, as expected. Only this time she texted back right away telling me she will call back which she did 5 mins after, excusing herself as she was driving. Thus began our journey. When I did meet her, she told me she had been away from the country and the business due to family related issues which i completely understood and sympathized with. Since i had already met many decorators, i could immediately tell from my meeting with Naphisha that she was different than the rest. I was intimidated by her knowing she's talented, but that intimidation went away immediately as she was warm, welcoming, kind, and open to all suggestions. She didn't impose her ideas, but just let me talk about mine. How she is unique is that, she doesn't propose cookie cutter designs, she doesn't just ask what you want and copies someone else's work, nor does she design your dream stage and attach a huge price tag. She let me talk about EVERYTHING i liked. We went over my pintrest, inspiration images, anything and everything i loved. She was open and accepting and loved my ideas. She told me, theres no such thing as being picky, you just know what you like and don't like and you deserve to have it. Which was SO nice to hear because i know, as a fashion designer myself, i can be considered picky, or detail oriented which annoys many people. After she had understood what i liked, she then asked my budget. She asked so that she can work in it. Most people gave me a design and then attached a price tag. But she didn't do that. She asked ME, so she can design something within my means, which was SOOO nice, made me feel like, she was willing to work with me and my budget, not the other way around. Even though i showed her the designs she had done herself, she told me she likes to be unique and different each time, which i admired and appreciated. A week later we met and she showed me her design concepts for wedding and Mehndi. I loved all of them, and decided to combine them into 2 great stages. She was so easy to work with and didn't shut down any of my ideas. So welcoming and nice, as well as full of ideas on how i can save money. Not just the stage but she kept giving me ideas and suggestions to make my centre pieces nicer, even if she wasn't doing them for me. When she found out i was buying expensive candles, she offered to buy them for me for fraction of the cost. She delegated everything with the hall managers, and told them ahead of time which coloured linen to put in. She gave me suggestions on how to deal with hall managers to get what i want from them. She told me things to look out for. She was basically helping me wedding plan on the side, offering bunch of vendors she knows who can help me. It was such a beautiful experience working with her. I don't know what else to say, I'm SOO blessed i got in touch with her when i did. I will hire her in a heart beat again, if she has availability :P I got lucky when i contacted her since she had just moved back to Toronto. Thank you Naphisha!! <3

Above and beyond what I expect. Not to mention I get endless compliments. Although I had opted out of a specific detail from the decor due to pricing She was kind enough to surprise me on the day of with beautiful upgraded centerpieces at her own expense just because it made the decor look better she is easy and open minded to work with and full of ideas. The Perfect Setting was hands down one of our favourite wedding vendors. We had reached out to Napisha as soon as the wedding date was set. We kept in touch through phone calls and WhatsApp messages by sharing and bouncing ideas. She designed my two sisters’ wedding ceremonies and receptions in the past and had simply blown us all away with the end results! She is kind, passionate and her attention to detail is truly admirable. Due to Covid, we weren’t sure if the wedding was going to take place on the initial date or get postponed. Literally, a week prior to the wedding, we found out that regulations have changed for the better regarding guest count. From 10 guests, it was increased to 15% of capacity for all indoor religious ceremonies. Planning a wedding with someone who doesn’t live in the same province definitely had its challenges. When we first got engaged, the thought of wedding planning was overwhelming but there were a few things I had my heart set on. One of them was The Perfect Setting. After seeing Naphisha’s work during my sister’s wedding and my brother’s wedding, and scrolling through her Instagram page, I knew I wanted her for our wedding. And we couldn’t be more happier with our choice. Naphisha, although tough to reach at times, was very pleasant and always ready to roll up her sleeves and get to work. We were literally working with her till the last minute to finalize our ideas and she delivered. Each event theme held its own beauty, grace and charm. If you are looking to book her for your events, I say “absolutely” but just bare in mind she’s quite busy and sometimes, although difficult, you have to be patient with her schedule.

My wife and I chose to work with Naphisha and her team at The Perfect Setting to be our decor vendor for our Hindu wedding ceremony and we couldn't have made a better choice! She was professional, responded quickly, flexible, and just a great person to work with overall! Naphisha of The Perfect Setting did the décor for my wedding in July 2018 at Mississauga Convention Centre. Naphisha is the best décor designer in the GTA and several steps ahead of the competition. She is very professional, diligent and detail-oriented; But what separates Naphisha from the competition is her creativity. I met with Naphisha multiple times to discuss elements of the decor. She was very receptive to input and ideas. The unique décor designs she created were based on our discussions and were tailored to my budget. This review is way overdue! Naphisha and the Perfect Setting team were an incredible find for our wedding festivities. We had an Indian style Mehndi night which was our in-town reception in March of last year. From our first meeting, I could tell Naphisha had a distinct, tasteful style that translated perfectly to her decor options and design skills. She patiently guided us thru colour palettes, backdrop options, centerpieces, etc. and really took time to understand our vision for the night. There was no rush or pushiness to her, she was fair with pricing (which my husband appreciated) and we were able to seal a deal without breaking the bank. The night itself was executed perfectly, from the table settings to the backdrop, the stage setup, Mehndi station and everything in between. My husband and I got married on December 24th at Markham Convention Center and the decor at our event was definitely a highlight for the night. Our guests, many of whom have had Naphisha Vohra decorate their events, cannot stop raving about the beautiful backdrop, centerpieces and overall look of our dream wedding. I came across Naphisha's stunning work while looking through wedding photography and my husband has had several cousins and extended family hire her in the past. Finding a decorator that understood our vision and worked within our budget was probably one of the most difficult tasks when it came to wedding planning. She ensured that she stayed true to our budget even though she provided us with more than what was promised. This review is well overdue, however it is a must! We were introduced to Naphisha and The Perfect Setting after having several consults with various decor vendors. My husband and I had a vision of exactly what we wanted our wedding decor to look like however, the vendors we met with either quoted us a ridiculous amount or tried to persuade us into something completely different from what we had asked for. When we met with Naphisha we had an instant connection, the conversation went well as she was a breathe of fresh air and listened to every idea and specific detail my husband wanted. Leaving the consult, we were so confident with her work that we gave her complete creative freedom with the inclusion of the certain things that we wanted incorporated. She ensured us she would integrate our ideas and come up with something unique and specifically catered to our liking. She was in constant communication with us and would send us pictures/inspo of things we may want included into our decor. She provided us rough sketches of how she envisioned the reception decor to be, we trusted her creative genius and didn’t see the final design of the decor until the day of our wedding and we were blown away to say the least. Naphisha went above and beyond, stayed within our budget and added complimentary table decor to our receiving table as she wanted our full vision to come together. If you’re looking for someone to carry out your wedding decor vision and have one less thing to worry about then we highly recommend Naphisha and The Perfect Setting decor. Most decor companies were focused on selling us their packages, showing us their previous work and trying to convince us that if we sign up *right now* we'll get a great discount and beautiful work. With Perfect Setting, she just wanted to get to know us. She wanted to understand how we met, what we envisioned, and what mattered most. She bounced around various ideas to see what really caught our attention. She then told us she would come back with a package that would fit our budget. We were hooked! Fast forward a few months to our wedding, she asked us to not come in early and see her work, we just had to trust her. She wanted it to be a surprise and let me tell you - we were! The decor was perfect! Not only were we amazed but so were our guests. They talked about it for weeks! Our pictures came out beautifully and we loved our wedding. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Naphisha is difficult to work with. She added extra charges after agreed upon amount on contract was finalized. She also changed the decor design (colour, lighting etc) last minute without consultation. The furniture she uses on the stage is old and had pins sticking out, poking anyone who sat down. Overall, I would not recommend her services.
