Here you will see the opinions of people who consumed the services and products of Delta Hotels by Marriott Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront (Event Planner) in the area close to Sault Sainte Marie (Canada).
At this moment the firm gets a rating of 4.3 stars out of 5 and this score is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is very high, and it's founded on a very high number of reviews, so we may be quite sure that the rating is very faithful. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This was one of our favorite places to stay on our trip. When you've been on the road for a long time this hotel makes you feel right at home. The staff go above and beyond with customer service, and the cleanliness of this hotel is beyond standard. We stayed in a King Suite with a partial water view, and our cat made herself at home very quickly by the window to watch the birds. The Starbucks in the lobby was an added bonus too ????
Rooms are small but comfortable. What makes this property a 5 star hotel is the staff. People smiling all the time and very attentive to your needs. They went above and beyond. From the house keeping team to the front desk and the restaurant. Bravo Nice view of the St Mary's River
Very good view very nice room extremely great staff!!!! Wouldn’t recommend any other hotel in this town. The other hotels in town could take a good lesson from the delta!!!! Once again such a great place and staff!!!!!!
Ok but for the price wasn't awed Dirty towel and next to no toilet paper when we got in room Think you're better getting a cheaper room and using the money you save on other activities
100% satisfied with our choice of hotel. The hotel provided close proximity to the boardwalk. The view from our room was spectacular. This hotel is in a very walkable location. The breakfast buffet was fresh and inviting. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. The rooms and other amenities were clean and tidy. The Agawa Canyon Tour station is near by. Museums, restaurants and shopping are quite close too.
We had a lovely time and the Covid protocols were managed well. The waterfront was a lovely place to take a walk. Our only issue was that the EV charger was broken and from previous reviews, thus had been the case for awhile. This is a big issue for EV drivers.
It’s a nice hotel on the river which great. Starbucks, nice restaurant clean rooms,
Hotel is good location is the best hope they will put some chargers for the Tesla cars We head a hard time without a charge they have an old charger there not working
We stayed one night and the hotel wasn’t that great - and I wasn’t expecting the best either. …
Beautiful location - we stayed on our way to our destination and on our way home. The mechanical odour on our second stay (different floor than the 1st) was quite repulsive but understanding that Reno’s are ongoing.
We had a great experience here. Room was clean with a nice River view. I loved the fitness center which has now been upgraded to include an Olympic weight bar set and power rack, so it's now a proper gym! ???? They also brought up a microwave when we requested, which was nice.
All well except that pets are allowed and I had a encounter a noisy one next door. Extremely noisy at that.
Travelled here on business in March 2020. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful lobby, rooms and facilities. Clean and quiet. The absolute BEST fitness facility you will find in a hotel, don't let the website photos fool you - barbells and …
Staff was friendly and helpful; though I had to ask questions, the information was not offered up as I've experienced at other Marriott brand hotels. The room had updated decor, but had a few noticeably neglected areas like doors and …
I stayed at the Delta SSM Waterfront for business last week, and the hotel did not disappoint. I checked into the hotel after finishing a long work day. The front desk staff remembered me, after not being at the hotel for a couple of …
The room was OK. There were stains on the bed covers, the bathtub didn't drain properly, and the coffee maker didn't work. The takeout information sheets in the directory were badly out of date, so the prices listed for local restaurants were all wrong. On the plus side, the hotel staff were friendly, they allow dogs to stay, and the area is beautiful.
Needs a upgrade wall paper coming off and the water view was a partial view but they do accept dogs
Pretty good, we called last minute looking for a pet friendly room. Though they told us about the $20 charge for the dog, they didn't tell us about the 39.99 additional room cleaning fee. Nice place though, lots around there. Good path to walk on.
Fantastic Hotel and location, incredibly friendly staff and a wonderful leadership team. I highly recommend this hotel. I had an incredible stay, and was taken care of really well during a trip across Canada to visit my father who is in …
Very nice place, had a room overlooking the water, beautiful view, took some nice sunset photos. Went for a walk along the boardwalk. Restaurant & pool on site, a great place to stay.
If you are in the area looking for a place to stay I highly recommend the delta. Many rooms have a beautiful view of the river. The best part is this hotel is very pet friendly. Offering all rooms to you and your pet, unlike most places that only have a couple, typically not the nicest rooms, set aside. It was the best place we've stayed with our two small dogs. The hotel is right on the waterfront boardwalk, so plenty of space to walk the dogs or yourself. The pool and hot tub are open and after a day of skiing a great place to treat your sore muscles. With a Starbucks and The View, a delicious restaurant, on site you can't go wrong. To top it all off the staff are absolutely lovely. We will be back.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had being on a hotel that claims luxury stays. We drove from Calgary,AB to Montreal,QC and we spent few nights in different hotels on the road, this one was the most expensive yet the worst. The bathroom in the room was filthy, walls full of smug and this pink lines. Also, the fan in bathroom was broken so if someone used the bathroom good luck with getting the smell out. In addition the sink had a broken drain and broken piece was just laying done next to the tap. Sure enough, next morning I went down and spoke to the clerk who referred me to the supervisor expressing my dissatisfaction and disappointment, but to my surprise the supervisor just dismissed my concerns all together and asked me how I want to pay. I almost lost it so I told him again that I’m not satisfied with your service what can you do about it, the answer was nothing, “sorry you had a bad experience, our cleaning manager will in touch with you about our practices, can I charge CC on file?” I paid and left and of course no one bother to call me or anything. I have been to hundreds of hotels around the world I have never seen a such dismissive behaviour from any management before. So to anyone want to spend their money on nice trip please don’t waste your honey here.
Advertised free breakfast when asked reception knew nothing about it! Told me to go check with the restaurant on my own! Asked for a pet friendly room and was charged extra for my 7 pound dog the room was terrible. Obviously the less …
We stay here often, love the hotel. This time things seemed to have slipped. Don’t let this happen!
Nothing about our stay or experience stood out; the bed was made sloppily, the cleaning was not detail-oriented, the front desk was short-staffed, the booking process was unclear and time consuming, and the pet fees were added on top of an unusually high fare. Would not recommend over other hotels in the area.
Dark, dirty and overpriced for what you get. Hotel staff acknowledged our concerns for this they earned 3 stars.
Booked online with them online. Wrong date was entered as no remove available for my night. So I had to call in to cancel. It was such an ordeal. On hold for over 15 min. Had to "verify" address email blood type. I just wanted the room cancelled as the date was wrong and there were no rooms available. Then they had to contact the front desk... So their number is obviously a call center.... I got the number straight from Google maps. This type of run around is a joke. I'm going to stick with the Wyndham chain. You at least get the hotel directly and no run around.
To chime in with another review: I tried calling 2 days in a row, with an average of 2 hours on hold trying to reach front desk as my flight arrival was VERY early to only NEVER getting a hold of someone and having to just show up to the hotel and hope for the best that they had my room available as early as 10 a.m. First time at the Delta and it's well worth the value versus the other hotels in the area! The highlight for me is the Fluid (patio)/View restaurant overlooking the waterfront - it's opened for Lunch and Dinner, however their dinner menu seemed to contained the same things as lunch - just with an additional 4 or so items. I HIGHLY recommend the Signature Ceasar cocktail + Blueberry Basil Mojito - both were crafted at the bar and SO delicious. Spending the few extra dollars to have a view of the waterfront is well worth it. Rooms are reasonably sized actually and the large 45" inch TVs are helpful! My only disappointment was breakfast. While the fresh fruits and coffee were great, the hostess didn't give off the same friendly energy I was receiving from everyone else - such is life. I say SKIP the breakfast here and head to the Breakfast Pig! You won't be disappointed (:
Nice overnight stay after long travel days. The 3 ladies we encountered were extra kind and helpful! Two from reception and one from housekeeping. Wish I got each of their names, but I blame weary travel brain ;) The only disappointment was dinner. Bread was beyond stale and the other two dishes were sub par. This was our reason for not ordering breakfast in the morning. Otherwise, very comfy suite and we appreciate the ease of parking. Will stay again as we found the kind reception and location perfect for our needs.
Excellent all around service clean great food beautiful modern rooms
My wife asked the front desk clerk, Bonnie, if it was possible to eat in the dining room if she had a vaccine exemption. Bonnie’s response was probably one of the rudest responses from a service employee that we have ever heard. She said that she should eat her meal outside. Hopefully, this unbelievably comment would have had her fired.
Caesar salad with house made dressing and fat pieces of bacon. This starter was large enough for two, and just the start of two delicious meals we had at the Delta in Sault Ste. Marie. …
Always have a wonderful stay here , beds are comfortable & staff are amazing.
Excellent location and view, right on the water. Room was very clean. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Washroom was modern and spacious. Heated tiles! Stand up shower was great with good water pressure. The restaurant (View) was amazing as well. We'll worth the stay in The Soo.
I really liked my night at the hotel. Staff super kind and the view was great.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful, swimming pool was convenient for cooling off after a hot summer day, and the location beside the river, mall and other points of interest were very convenient. If …
I cannot believe it! It was an awful experience for me. I travelled a lot, specially during the COVID. This is the only hotel that they DID NOT include breakfast while I was staying there. The WORST part was they didn't even bother …
It was a good time we spent there. Hotel has a perfect location and pet friendly. The room was clean, and had a very comfortable two queens beds, tiny fridge and huge TV. The room size could be bigger. No one room has a balcony. Sault Ste …
Food is a little pricy for the portions but the staff and rooms are fantastic. I have stayed here many times for work. Never been disappointed.
I had to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the wonderful customer experiences I've had during my visits to the Delta. I never expected to visit Sault Ste. Marie even once, but I've had three business opportunities, about once a …
Been to this location many times before, long story short. Requested early check in, arrived at 1pm, couldn’t check in until 3.30 pm normal check in 3pm. Front desk staff, not trained in their position, rude, not accommodating. Charged for …
very poor service, cleanliness fair, I don't mind paying when I receive service & amenities but this place was a disappointment from the time we checked in until we left. Some employees don't belong in this industry, or they need to check their own personal baggage at the door before their shift.
The service throughout the hotel was unbelievably slow! When we arrived, there were three people at the desk and only one other person approaching. It took all three of them to check her in. We arrived at 2:45 pm and were told our room …
Very nice place to stay. Will stay again. Beautiful views and great boardwalk. Thought their food and drinks were a bit high priced. Bar food, just okay. We had a pizza the first night. It was like a frozen pizza. …
We hadn't booked a hotel in years due to covid... we definitely chose the right one in Sault St Marie. Bed was huge and comy food was amazing we wished we could of stayed all week
I spent a night at the presidential suite with my wife and for what I paid it was completely unacceptable to start there was cheetos and chocolate wrappers all over the room the toilet was leaking left a huge puddle in the bathroom the fireplace was broken but the part that got me the most was the jetted tub. We filled it and there was floating dead skin and I'm not talking a small amount they were even nice enough to leave some nail clippings. They gave me 125$ off but for a 600$ room what a joke.
Attended for our annual Travel Media Association of Canada conference. To my knowledge, there were no issues whatsoever with the staff or provisions for the conference. Rooms were well appointed and I loved the green program provided to the …
Great location, staff is top notch and it is a Marriott. Because it is right next to the water, there is an odor that sometimes comes to shore, but you can't smell it inside the hotel, not even in the water facing rooms on any floor. This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Northern Ontario. Also, I don't usually go for hotel restaurants, but The View is actually really nice and the food is good.
The hotel is located on the boardwalk, which offers a 5 km walk route to help you work off the calories from the AMAZING View restaurant. Excellent food, excellent serving staff. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. Rooms are quiet. Location is near shopping mall and casino. A great place to stay.
Beautiful views!!! Very clean, friendly staff, the food was AMAZING and most importantly for us they were pet friendly!! We will stay again if we are ever in the area with question!!!
Beds are super comfy. However, paid for a river view - and the view I received was mostly a parking lot. That was disappointing. Also - hair in the bathroom madam question the cleanliness.
I stayed here five years ago and had the perfect bridge and river view, not so lucky this time but still enjoyed the room. Although the maintenance is good the cooling / heating system may need some updating especially in the party room, …
Run down and tired. In dire need of refurbishment. Wallpaper peeling in bathroom, broken sharp end on shower curtain hook, this was in an upgraded premium room. EV charger didn't work and is only accessible from an exit door requiring parking in the fire lane.
I was only there for a few hrs to rest my head and get back on the road again. So my assessment may not be fair. I don't like how expensive a single room is. It's Sault Ste. Marie not Toronto or Montreal.
Beautiful hotel on the waterfront! The service was impeccable and very thorough. The check in process was simple and easy. Our room was located on the water and bridge view side so that was quite appealing. The room was pretty basic but nonetheless spotless and comfortable. We checked out the breakfast buffet in the morning but opted to just grab coffees at the Starbucks located in the lobby. I generally don’t like visiting the Sault but I’d definitely stay at this hotel again if I had to return. Keep up the great work!
Nice room, very clean. Helpful staff. Lovely property and a beautiful view. I would love to go back.
Dog friendly and room with a view, staff was great and loved having the Starbucks
Unfortunately a very dated room. Needs updating. The restaurant is incredible with a winning fine dining experience for dinner. Now the rooms need work!
After travelling across Canada, from Newfoundland to Alberta and staying in many different hotels along the way. This was by far, the best. It was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable and the price was right. The food at the …
Fantastic stay! I stayed for 2 nights and must say I wish I was staying longer. From the beds to the food to the people working there it was really good and we were well taken care of. And the price was very affordable. I have nothing bad to say about my stay.
Nice room, hallway at start of room gave extra space for suitcases. Bathrooms were decent. Beds were comfy. Room of the lake was very nice during the day. Breakfast not included
Stay was great but don’t book with Expedia or you won’t get a receipt.
Staff was not very helpful room no glasses phoned the front desk and told us to come down and get some. Ice cube machine not working. Room service no cutlery
The location is spectacular. They had really amazing food. The staffs were very helpful. Will definitely visit again
Tje hotel was very clean and all staff were truly friendly and helpful. This is a pet friendly hotel and they truly mean it. There are water bowls as well as a small selection of toys for dogs in the front lobby. The hotel is right on the river and has direct access to the boardwalk.
No complaints here. We had a good sleep. The staff was super nice and gave me elastics to fix my broken watch wrist band. I would stay there again. It was very clean. The beds were very comfy.
It was a nice hotel. We didn't have the best view as we were looking out towards other buildings but its location on the boardwalk was very nice. We went for a morning walk (in the rain) and it was beautiful looking out onto the waterfront. Because of COVID, we ordered dinner to our room from the restaurant (View). We called down to order and they called us when it was ready for pick-up (very easy). The food and beer were tasty, the french fries were some of the best we've ever had. You didn't even need ketchup - they were THAT good. The downsides were that the food menu was limited and quite expensive for what you got and the walls throughout the hotel are quite thin so it was easy to hear things out in the hallway but otherwise, it was a nice spot to stay.
The meal sizes in the View restaurant were ENORMOUS. I looked at the people around me. All portions were LARGE. …
This location has a great deal of potential. Location is handy. View is of the St Mary River where we could see the International Bridge lit up at night and watch some lake freighters going by. …
I did not know it was in Canada, I googled hotels in sault st marie mi. This came up so I booked. When I got to the soo I then realized what happened. you cannot cross border at this time called hotel they put it off in expedia, so I called expedia they put it off on the hotel, needless to say nobody will refund my money. Ruined a mini vacation, I will not use expedia or stay at any Marriott hotel ever again!!! Beware when booking what country your staying. Canada is called sault st marie as well.
Management is not equipped to manage a full capacity Hotel. As a result mistakes are made, overall experience suffers. For instance, on arrival to our room the door was ajar. No way to know if anyone had entered between cleaning and our arrival. No recognition we were titanium members. Dinner order was lost. Except for the restaurant admitting they lost the order, front desk felt no regret about our experience. This hotel lacks basic customer service. And I am sure housekeeping and front of the house restaurant will be blamed instead of the obvious poor management. Sadly this hotel is not managed to the Bonvoy level.
This is a wonderful hotel. a tad pricey but worth it. Superior guestrooms: terrific mattresses, comforters and pillows. Room had office desk chair and plenty of work outlets ( 2 usb and audio/visual hookups) A great location overlooking St …
Room was dated and shower was dripping and heat/cool was not working
This was our third stay and each time I have reviewed it on Tripadvisor. It is a great place with excellent food and service.
the rooms are nice and clean. the food is okay but overpriced. we founded the housekeeping staff very rude (2 interactions)
This hotel exceeded our expectations at all levels. Great view. Impeccable service and some the best hotel meals we have experienced. It is, hands down, the best place to stay in the Sault.
Very nice place. Used the boardwalk to walk over to Montana's and Beaver Tails.
Great Hotel. Best location and beautiful view on river side. Slightly expensive for the quality of amenities and overall hotel appearance. Carpet in the corridors especially on the 3rd floor is new but very poor choice of colour and design. …
Our stay was easy! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with a nice view.
You have to stay here! Great service, rooms very spacious. All amenities offered, great location. You just book here! Managed all the needs of our large group with great ease as well as all hotel guests. There is a pooch welcome as well, water dish, etc. How great is that! I hear the pool was also great! I wish I could add more stars!!!
I was moving across Canada from Alberta to Ontario. The hotels we stayed in along the way were all pretty run down and not very clean until we reached Sault Ste. Marie and stayed in the Delta. It was so refreshing to have a hotel that was worth what we were paying !
Was not given the rooms I had booked and not refunded for the downgrade. Air conditioner was broken. Covid guide lines were not being followed. Toilet was also broken upon arrival.
This hotel has great staff; awesome chef, great location with it being right on the waterfront and next to the mall. Rooms and amenities were great! Bed was so comfy! I would stay here again and again. No complaints!
The room was very clean and the beds were SO comfortable. The tv was nice and big and the heated bathroom floors were lovely. The view from our room was gorgeous too ! The staff was friendly. The only unfortunate part was no room service and the restaurant closed at 10 ! We were travelling from Thunder Bay so we didn’t get to the hotel until quite late so we didn’t get to try the food there ! Next time hopefully !
Our room was clean and comfortable. Great check in and out. We had a lovely view of the river and our room was really quiet. Only negative was the hot tub was really hot! Would love to have an outdoor hot tub at this hotel. Will definitely be back
Was just passing through and found this fantastic property. Clean, comfortable, great view of the water
This was our first time visiting Sault Ste. Marie, and we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was in a great location, right on St. Mary's River with the mall right across the street. The rooms were decorated nicely, with comfy beds, …
Originally from the Sault and worked at the hotel years ago as a chambermaid. Was in town visiting and stayed there and was impressed with the level of cleanliness, comfort and friendliness of staff. The restaurant was great and the view of the river is pleasant. Very pleased with my stay at The Delta.
Enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Staff was friendly and rooms were very clean. Bedding was crisp, clean and comfortable. The view was outstanding! Had dinner and breakfast downstairs at View and experienced great service, great food and drinks, and it was wonderful that it was right downstairs.
The Hotel experience was excellent. No concerns. This was the last stop on a 10 day journey. It was my turn to choose a …
Great place to stay. One advice for the owners is to offer free coffee. Nice view arround the hotel.
Best hotel in the city! Friendly staff, great rooms! We have been coming to this hotel for years and it is our go to hotel for overnight stays in Sault Ste Marie! Always clean and best beds ever! The restaurant and bar also have great food and make great drinks. Haven't found a better hotel yet!
Beautiful clean hotel! Beautiful views of the waterfront. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
I can't say enough about this Hotel. Service is extraordinary ,it's very clean and organized. My son and his beautiful bride were just married there and I have never had a better meal ,along with the service. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you to everyone especially Jeffrey Johnston. It was a very special day for My son and his Beautiful wife! Thank you!
The hotel is very family friendly, very clean, and just amazing overall. Will definitely stay again!
We stayed at the Delta in Sault Ste. Marie for our wedding night and my husband and his groomsmen stayed in the suite the night before. It was so beautiful and the service was so great that everyone who visited our room commented on how …
The hotel was fantastic. The temperature in the rooms accommodated my personal preferences in an instant! The front desk staff were all friendly and the cleaning staff were exceptionally welcoming. The food provided for breakfast was lacking in quality and quantity. Overall great experience. Would recommend Delta.
Very clean, comfy and great sized rooms . Was nice to have a nice walk on the boardwalk and a nice swim in the hotel. Friendly staff too
The room was beautiful and exactly as pictured. I had a walk in shower which was much nicer than I’m use to in a hotel. An excellent view and a lovely and lively area. Boardwalk was great for a walk of a run. The restaurants were excellent …
Nice hotel great food and Starbucks on the lobby was great.
Good value for money. Room was clean and comfortable.
Staff were all very friendly, breakfast was very good, the room do need up dating. Curious smells in the hallways. I love the view of the locks and the great lake ships going thru the lock and canals. The boardwalk was an added plus. I would stay here again.
This was an amazing stay. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was so clean. I love that it is pet friendly. The beds were comfortable and we both had a great sleep. I would highly recommend this hotel and it will be the hotel I will now go to first in the Sault.
We had a wonderful overnight at this hotel. Ask for a room with a view. There is plenty of walking to do along the water and a mall across the street if you are so inclined. The hotel has a European feel and the chef is outstanding. Beautiful view in the dining room.
This hotel is the closest thing to luxury you'll find in Sault Ste Marie. Beautiful views from the hotel, very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The online photos don't do it justice. …
Before the check-in was finalized the room location would have been nice too know of it's location. Right next to stairs and only one floor off the ground level had traffic coming and going all night. Doors slamming lots of voices chatting walking in past.
Showed up without a reservation due to inclement weather at myboroginal destination and received an excellent rate and awesome customer service at check in. Managed to score a room with a view of the bridge and extended my stay because it …
The hotel staff upon check in was friendly. The bar personnel were friendly and efficient. Upon initial room check in, dirty socks were discovered. This was reported to the front desk, and a second upgraded room was given. Upon moving all …
This was my first stay at the Delta Waterfront and overall it was a decent experience. Pros: Location! Right on the water and our room had an amazing waterfront view! 55 inch tv Extremely comfortable beds! Cons: Cleanliness. The chair in our room had crumbs all over it. The hallways and elevators were very run down. No breakfast. We knew that when we booked but it’s something to be aware of. Windows are filthy! Both inside and outside. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the windows were dirty enough to mention. Booked a month in advance and requested a high floor.. got second floor. I’d stay again. The location is definitely the draw.
Great access to the boardwalk, although the rooms are just average. The shower head was just a little too low also.
The Delta Waterfront in Sault Ste. Marie is always the top pick for me when travelling into the Soo area. …
Little disappointed on this trip. My friend booked a room and paid extra for the view of the lake. Upon arrival, their was a line-up of disgruntled people, with one person behind the desk. After waiting half an hour, she informs us we don't have the room my friend paid for. So we get a room with a view of the roof. My friend was supposed to get a call from the hotel manager which he never received. The whole experience was quite poorly handled. Although the staff member was a bit frazzled, she was trying to handle everything as professionally as possible. But it was evident a mistake had been made. The room was at least nice & clean. No wall outlets but there is 2 built into the desk for charging and it wasn't even plugged in at the back. (we had to pull furniture out to plug it in) No usb charging ports on bedside table. This might sound fussy, but every other hotel I've stayed in had multiple charging outlets or ports in the room. The pool was also closed due to an accident. The fridge was TINY... half the size of a normal hotel fridge. No microwave, but it had a coffee pot. Overall our stay was... okay, but I wasn't overly happy about it. While the room looks modern and nice, it was missing amenities that I usually find at any other hotels. Staff is friendly and professional though. The location is great! You can go for a walk along the port, lots of places to eat, and a beautiful view of the river.
We had reserved a waterfront facing room through Expedia site. Upon arrival, we realized it was a side view of Waterfront (Room no 522). It was a very disappointing experience. …
The view alone is worth it! Make sure you get a room on the waterside, overlooking the Soo locks & the US. The room was clean & comfortable.
We had a memorable dinner in the restaurant nine years ago while driving through The Soo so when we decided to return for the Agawa Canyon Train trip (which was cancelled on us too late to change travel plans) the Delta Marriott was the …
Overall our stay at the Delta Hotel in Sault St Marie was excellent! The hotel and grounds are beautiful, and the location couldn’t be better! All the staff are both courteous and professional. There is no in-house guest laundry, but there …
Went to the in-house restaurant 'View' for our anniversary dinner. The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make the evening as enjoyable as possible. The food was excellent and in large proportion, large enough we took some home at the end. When we got the bill for the meal they had deducted dessert and even had a greeting card with a hand written message for the occasion. The one downside of the evening was the guests a few tables over that had no concept of how to dine without disturbing everyone else in the restaurant. Not the fault of the staff, I understand this, but it still put a slight damper on what was otherwise an almost perfect evening.
Very nice hotel in a town with very mixed identity. The staff were very welcoming and polite. The hotel is very clean, with a great view of the water.
Great location. Nice room. Restaurant on site. Great for evening cocktails.
WHERE YOU DID WELL: [A] Shower head This is one of the most important criteria for me when in a hotel. You did well, …
