We had my sister's baby shower here and it was great! The good was good and the wait staff was excellent. The employees made the shower run smoothly. The space was open and easily fit the 50 people we had there. It was one of the nicest showers my family has had.

I don't even know where to start! I had my wedding at Alexander's on 07/21/2017 and they made it ABSOLUTELY perfect! From the early stages all the way until the wedding day I couldn't have head a better experience. Kristin was absolutely amazing to work with. She was always available to answer any questions I may have and was always more than accommodating when it came to coming in to make payments and such. She made the process completely stress free. She was so sweet and always seemed genuinely interested in how things were going not just regarding the wedding, but in our lives which was extremely sweet. As for the hall, it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The decorations came out absolutely stunning, the uplighting looked beautiful, they set up the cake table and guest book section so great, and overall the hall was STUNNING! I was absolutely blown away when we arrived. It was picture perfect and exactly how I imagined. I also cannot believe everything you get for the price. It is an incredible deal and like no where else. I could go on and on about my experience and how great it was. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The dance floor is gorgeous since it's like black diamonds. The mirror above the dance floor is so cool and last by not least, the beautiful chandelier above the dance floor is stunning. Everyone I've talked to since the wedding kept saying how beautiful everything came out and I couldn't agree more. Thank you Alexander's Banquet Hall and Kristin for making my wedding absolutely picture perfect!

Came here for a wedding and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was great, and the layout made buffet style meals quite efficient and simple. The actual venue seemed easy to customize, so it should make a great venue for any occasion.

I attended a very enjoyable women's lunch here on a Saturday. A bit of a walk, if you're not early enough to get a close parking spot. The facility is super clean and accomondating. The food was surprisingly good and the staff is very attentive and professional.

My fiance and I went to this location looking for an option for our wedding reception, we were greeted promptly and kindly by the staff and shown around the facility. They were very helpful and telling us what to expect and the staff is very friendly. This was the best experience we had for this type of service in the area.

They get really nervous when you look at the piano, makes it hard to appreciate it (I was at least a foot and a quarter a way). Also, if you're there and ask for coffee or drink and they say it isn't being served, you can bribe them to get it for you for a couple bucks.

I tried at least a dozen times to contact them because I wanted to have my wedding there. No one ever contacted me after all of the phone calls & emails. My fiance and I even went there at 4:00pm one day when their hours online said they were open to 6:00pm and no one was even there. They obviously don't need the business that much to not call us back! Would not recommend them to anyone!!

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS AWESOME PLACE!!!!!! IT'S JUST OUTSTANDING! It's a BEAUTIFUL place for a wedding/reception!!! Plus, amazing employees that work here! ???? We were treated so well when we were here for my cousins wedding. The staff even made my "picky eater" a separate plate of JUST CHICKEN because they saw he didn't want the chicken on the buffet line???? He felt so special ☺️ It was heartwarming!

Our Son and Daughter-in-law recently had their wedding at Alexander's. They were both looking forward to this perfect evening and so were our families and friends. I will tell you the hall is beautiful and the food was good. Our evening was very pleasant except toward the end about 10:30 PM some of the remaining guests and family were standing at the bar area talking and having beverages when the bar lights were shut down and the bar was closed while some guests were waiting for a beverage. There was no warning or last call they were closing the servicing area and we feel we paid for additional time and when asked I had a contract stuffed in my face showing that the bar closes at 10:30 that was the additional time! in fine print it also says that there is NO Last Call!!! Their reason for this is that all of the people will rush the bar for a drink!!! We had Pizza as a late snack that was never announced so it was just sitting there getting cold. I understand that the bar closed at 10:30 and apparently my son and daughter-in-law agreed to it when they signed on however our pour guests that were there did not understand how a nice wedding and hall like this could have such an abrupt finish. It really ruined the whole night!!! I would never tell anybody not to have an event at Alexander's because it is a great location the food was good the service up until the 10:30 mark was good, the inside is real nice however Please look over all papers you sign and make sure to announce to your guests that the Pizza or snacks are out!! and that the last call for Beverages is coming up.So you can avoid this abrupt finish of your special event!

It's such a beautiful facility. I didn't realize how big it was until I noticed 2 receptions were taking place at the same time.

Contacted the venue about setting up a reception. Told them our situation (fiance lives in Canada) and what our head count would be. We came to take a tour, it ended up being a complete waste of time. She said we needed a minimum of 150 people. Her mom from Canada came to check it out with us as well. We told her via email what our head count was, so when she knew that we weren't even close to that number, why didn't she tell us. Even on the tour she talked about the room in relation to how many people we would have at the reception. At the very least she could have told us there was a minimum. I have no problem that there is a minimum, but I have a huge issue with the time she wasted. I feel like it's very dishonest and would not recommend working with them.

Just ate here for the first time ever and were so pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The roast beef was like thin sliced prime rib. Med rare and not overcooked with a wonderful au jus. Delicious breaded oven baked chicken, buttered red skinned potatoes, green beans cooked perfectly. The tossed salad was amazing...cold, fresh and crisp with a homemade creamy Italian dressing. The buns tasted freshly baked and homemade. And the desserts, again, were phenomenal. I was very impressed by such an unassuming banquet facility. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional. Thank you for a job well done!!

Been here twice. First visit - Brother and his wife put on a wedding reception here. Food was 4-5 star, music was 4 star, Brother and his wife were very happy with the reception and recommended that we try their New Year's Eve party. Best party yet. Food was excellent, lots of it and no rushing to clear it away. Open bar and the drinks were good. The DJ? The music was a little young for my taste but the dance floor was full most of the night. We will go back again.

This is an absolute beauty of a venue. The owner Alex really cares about each event that is booked there. The staff he has working there is a great group of people. Kristen up in tthe front office has one of the biggest hearts I've ever seen. We used Alexander's for my daughter's wedding reception. Everything was good, the only 2 complaints were that the lighting was set too low and even after changing it once, it was reset to the darker setting later by someone.The other issue was that the room they set aside for the bride to change in was locked and only one of the staff had a key. Constantly having to locate that person to get into the room was a pain and it could be 10 minutes between wanting to get in the room and actually being able to get in. Overall it was a great experience and both our complaints could easily be addressed and corrected. I would recommend their facility as a good place to hold a reception.

Wonderful facility on the upper East side. The place looks amazing for all occasions. This is one of the cleanest banquet halls from the front door to the back door that you will find. The food is really good also.

We rented half of the hall for our wedding and had an overall great experience. The staff was very friendly and nice, the food was outstanding, and everything was set up perfectly. My only recommendation for future brides are if you plan on having your rehearsal dinner here make sure you say something right away, I did not and they booked events both nights prior to my wedding day. We ended up having it somewhere else and everything worked out wonderfully.
