My wife and I hired Grace Notes (their duet of violin and cello) for our wedding ceremony in May 2019. They helped create the perfect atmosphere. Their music highlighted the love we felt from everyone present perfectly. It gave me peace of mind to know that the music for the ceremony (an important piece of the puzzle for a wonderful wedding), was taken care of by professionals. I would 100% recommend them!

My husband and I are so elated to have had Grace Notes perform at our wedding in Beamsville, Ontario!!! They were extremely professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning of our interactions and throughout the entire planning process. On our wedding day they were punctual, very well dressed and received multiple compliments from our guests. Walking down the aisle was such an amazing and emotional moment and it was made all the more better by hearing 'Here Comes the Sun' by the Beatles played by Grace Notes' violin and cello duo. Grace Notes played at our wedding (prelude, ceremony and cocktail hour) in the summer of 2019. We booked them 7 months before the wedding date and communicated with them frequently via email and phone regarding number of players, timing, style of music, custom song selections etc. Communication was easy and we took their expertise/advice and went with a quartet for the type of songs we wanted (upbeat pop and contemporary) and for a more robust sound. They arranged and learned 8 new songs for us that wasn't in their repertoire and even sent us audio samples during the process. On the wedding day, they arrived 15 mins early, were dressed professionally in all black and went with the flow when they had to move indoors due to windy conditions. Unfortunately being the bride and groom, we missed out on all the songs we wanted to hear due to host duties, pictures etc but our guests seemed to enjoy it. I'm glad Grace Notes was part of our big day and added the elegance and ambiance that we wanted. We would highly recommend them.

Allison & her team were such a pleasure to work with. Extremely talented and amazing group of women. Having a duet for our big day and during cocktail hour was by far the BEST money we would spend. Absolutely spectacular! We hired Grace Notes Events for our outdoor ceremony at Queen's Landing Hotel in Niagara-On-The-Lake, and through a contest they were doing in the Spring we ended up winning 50% off Cocktail Hour Service which was held at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Not only do they have a wide range of songs in their playlist, but we had some custom requests like Marry Me by Thomas Rhett, Memories by Maroon 5 and even Star Wars and Game of Thrones music that they learned and played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. All of our guests loved the live duet, and classical environment expressed through their music of vintage and new age music. I will recommend Grace Notes Events to anyone!

What a beautiful touch having the string quartet for our wedding. Guest were treated with these lovely ladies entertaining while they got seated. It was so much nicer than a DJ playing off a computer. The fee was quite reasonable and they dressed very nice, looked quiet impressive in our photos and video. I had seen them at a friends birthday and got their card for our wedding. Thank-you so much and look forward to seeing them at future events.

I cannot overstate how wonderful it was to have Grace Notes Events play at our wedding reception. Grace, Ruth, Annie and Karlie are all professional, highly skilled and sensitive musicians in their own right, but together they are magic, and the quartet added a fun, uplifting ambience to our special day. From the onset of their wedding plans, Alex knew he wanted something uniquely special to musically accompany his bride's, Stacey's, walk down the aisle with her father, and as well, his and her recessional walk, as husband and wife. I, mother of the groom, Lu, offered to research what was available in Niagara on the Lake. Alex picked Gracenotes. We were struck by the youthfulness and poise of the lovely ladies in the ensemble, but more importantly , their extensive beautiful repertoire was to Alex and Stacey's taste. At the outside ceremony the string ensemble music was not over bearing. It was soft and subtle, and was beautifully carried by a light breeze over the blue sky and sun lit green grape vines. The musical prelude was lengthy and inviting, welcoming guests as they arrived to the pavilion -a memorable statement of elegance with natural beauty. All so very joyous. Throughout the planning Gracenotes was always professional and sensitive to the needs of Alex and Stacey. They were reliable and prompt to respond. Always reassuring. Thank you Gracenotes, from Alex, Stacey and Lu, (and Adam on behalf of my Mom, Lu, who does not know how to write Google reviews but insisted on making it happen since Gracenotes was so good!)

Grace Notes events played at our daughter’s wedding at Kurtz Orchards. The moment our guests arrived by tram to the ceremony site they were welcomed by the sweet sounds of an amazing string quartet. One guest said “ He knew he was going to be treated to something special when he was welcomed by the sounds of the string quartet as he disembarked from the tram.” Other guests with a musical background told us they were impressed by the range of material and its technical execution. We can not recommend a better allocation of funds when planning a wedding. The music sets a tone and complements the ambiance. Allison’s expertise at helping the couple choose songs that reflect their tastes allows for a unique and individual experience for the guests in attendance.
