The Deco was absolutely amazing! I am SO glad we chose them as our wedding caterers. The food was amazing (unlike a lot of bland and unexciting wedding food), the portions were HUGE and the presentation was top notch. Each plate was beautifully arranged and decorated despite mass creating for the whole wedding. Our guests said over and over how amazing the food was. Only thing I am bummed about is that they don't have a restaurant!! I would love to grab another meal :) We had the beef tenderloin, vegetable trottle and garlic chive chicken. 10/10

We just had Deco cater a big family event with over 200 guests----it is SUCH a great company. They put on an amazing buffet; they listened to what we wanted; they suggested affordable options. Every employee was a joy to have at the event; a special shout-out to Heather Asbury, who was our point person. We chose Deco because we had been to a wedding a few years ago that they catered and we were bowled over by their food. After we hired them, we were bowled over by both their food AND their professionalism. This company is a local gem.

Highly recommend! Deco catered our wedding in October and we had an excellent experience working with Antigoni. She was very responsive and helpful in planning our event within a short timeline. We had an intimate event due to covid and Deco did not require a minimum order. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating of dietary restrictions (nut allergy, vegetarian). Our favorites were the butternut squash ravioli, apple cinnamon salad, and grilled cheese shooters!

We had a fabulous experience with Deco start to finish. We originally contracted with them to cater our wedding at the Machine Shop. We thought the menu looked a little old-fashioned, but the food quality was outstanding at our trial - much better than more "interesting" options we tried at other caterers - and they only charge a service fee on the food, not labor or even other fees (like many caterers do), which made their bid literally thousands cheaper. When we had to move our wedding due to COVID to a new venue with an in-house caterer, they were amazing. They switched our deposit over to them catering our rehearsal instead, and they did an incredible job, despite some issues with the venue not quite being ready for the event. Their staff was responsive and friendly and managed a change in our lead contact without missing a beat (not the case at many other of our vendors). I can also say that the food quality at the event matched the trial. We got so many compliments on the food - my mother-in-law still wants their short rib recipe! In short, I can't recommend Deco highly enough. Would 100% use again for any future catering needs.

We chose Deco Catering for our wedding on 6/14/15 at The Fountain Room @ Lumber Exchange, MN and we were so pleased with the food they served. All our guests have been telling us about how delicious the food was. Deco staff was very responsive and detail oriented since the very beginning. They were very accommodating as well, given that my wedding was an Indian American wedding and I needed Indian Vegetarian food in the buffet. Every single dish at the buffet was presented and served so well. If I could go back to my wedding day, I would eat more of the food they served, it was that delicious. They are super easy to work with. They always made me feel that it was all about us and how we wanted our wedding day to be in terms of food. We liked their services so much that we are hoping to work with them in the future too. I would totally recommend Deco to the brides and grooms out there.

Ok, can I just say ‘the most phenomenal’ caterer and vendor to work with? I mean, these guys were absolutely awesome. The food was fantastic, especially as wedding food goes, everyone was so pleasant and professional. Most beautiful and tasty fresh cranberry and blue cheese salad. Not to mention that these guys really took care of me (the wedding photographer for the day), and my 2nd shooter. They brought our food out first so we could finish eating before speeches started. I was done just in time to photograph again the rest of the night (speeches, cake fitting, dances). Thank you so much! You guys were an absolute pleasure to work with. I hope we have another repeat soon with another one of my brides. You’re definitely going on my recommended vendor list. If you’re a bride looking for a caterer, these guys are great! Hire them!! :)

My husband and i hired Deco for our wedding. We had gone to so many food tastings, and were so disappointed that i didn't think this one would turn out either. My husband couldn't make it but my sisters and i went to taste Deco's food and we just fell in love. Almost every other food tasting we went to they were serving us pasta and heavy foods. If there is one thing i think people shouldn't be eating at a wedding is pasta. The head table had gotten the Beef Tenderloin and my husband is a VERY picky meat eating and he couldnt stop eating it. Every wedding i have ever been to i've been highly disappointed with the food, but this was just hands down some of the best food i've ever ate. I'd rank it up there with Gordon Ramsay and Wolfgang Pucks food. Highly recommended. The staff they hire is just wondering as well. If you want something that's better than the traditional wedding dish, and people will talk about for a long time. Hire Deco Catering.

Deco Catering was incredible to work with while planning our wedding. We decided to switch from an indoor to outdoor venue due to COVID and the entire Deco Catering team helped us pivot. They came out for a site visit, went through multiple phone calls and iterations of the menu and were a delight to work with. The quality of the food was incredible, with many guests saying it was the best wedding food they had eaten. We also ordered our desserts from Deco and they were delicious. When comparing pricing to other caterers, their pricing were very, very good for the value. We can't thank Deco catering enough, especially Antigoni and Kasey!

Keyed Up Events

There are so many positive things to say about Deco, we don't know where to start. The easiest thing to say is that their display when it comes to buffets is like a work of art and just a "WOW" part of the event. The food tastes just as good as it looks, and their staff is amazing. If you want great food and service your guests will appreciate, you can't go wrong with Deco!

I am a musician whose band plays for a lot of weddings. Needless to say I eat a lot of different food at these events. Last night we played for a wedding that was catered by the friendly folks from Deco. This was by far the best catered food I've yet to have since I've been playing or attending weddings, which has been 20+ years. The menu was healthy, by request of the grooms family. The salads, fruit plates and side dishes were wonderfully prepared and displayed along with perfect salad dressing choices. The main dishes were either steak and/or salmon. The buffet style line that was set up allowed you to have both. They were cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth when I ate them. If you're looking to hire a caterer for your wedding or event, look no farther. Take it from some one who's eaten a lot of catered food. Your guests will rave about their experience if you hire these folks.

When we first worked with Deco, Danielle was our coordinator. She was incredibly knowledgeable about our venue as well as Deco’s menu options. She was wonderful to work with for our tasting, and she was super friendly. We had to postpone our 6/6/20 wedding, and she worked quickly to get us rescheduled to 6/12/21. Due to the slow roll out of the vaccine at the beginning of 2021 and 80% of our guests coming from out of state, we decided to push our date one last time to 11/6/21. As soon as we rebooked with the venue, I reached out to Danielle to reschedule again. I found out that Danielle had left Deco, and Antigoni was our new coordinator. She got us rescheduled right away which was helpful. Prior to COVID, Danielle met with us for a tasting. I can’t tell you how amazing the food was just at the tasting! I’ve been to weddings before, and most of them had average food. We did our tasting in 2019, and we kept talking about how good it was up until our actual wedding. A couple weeks before the wedding, our event manager Sam reached out to confirm all our counts and made sure we had everything we needed set up for the day. She was so easy to work with. I’m so appreciative of the entire staff at Deco! The day of, the food was just as good as we remembered! Our passed appetizers were the California sliders, sweet chili chicken skewers, and bruschetta. Our entree choices were the beef tenderloin, wild rice stuffed chicken, and three cheese lasagna. We also had a late-night snack of tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese. It’s been two weeks since our wedding, and our friends and family are still talking about the food! I’m so thankful we had such an amazing caterer. Our food was amazing, and everyone was so easy to work with!

We chose Deco to be our caterer for our wedding and could not have been happier! The entire experience with Deco from start to finish was perfect. Most of our communication was with Antigoni (Director of Sales and Operations). I could go on and on about her professionalism, expertise, positivity, and attentiveness. We opted for a more non-traditional dinner (even though they also have traditional options) and were so, so impressed. We chose fun stations such as a fajita station, mashed potato bar, and slider station. Everything was beautifully presented and prepared...our guests were raving about the food! My husband and I are out-of-state, so the planning process was more challenging; however, Antigoni (and Kasey) made it seamless with their attention to detail, flexibility, and communication. We changed the menu a few times, and collected our own antique dinner plates/glasses for our dinner and they were extremely flexible with us. It was also challenging to schedule a tasting being out-of-state, but they had no problem working around our schedules as well. We had a lot of communication with Kasey as well (Catering Operations Manager), and she helped guide us about portion sizes for our guest count and made sure we had a smoothly run dinner. Kasey was present during dinner and did an exceptional job running it and making sure our guests were not waiting around and had great judgement about when to clear the tables and start the dance.

We used Deco for our wedding and can't say enough good things. We received so many compliments about the food from our guests. Our new coordinator came in about 2 months before our wedding, and she just jumped right in! She patiently answered every question we had and really helped us create the menu we were hoping for. All of the servers were so professional and took such good care of the space when finished. Food was excellent!

They catered our daughters wedding recently. I was so impressed with their delicious food! One of the best meals I have ever eaten. The guests commented on how delicious it was as well. I was also impressed with how beautiful the buffet of food was displayed. They made it look like art! So colorful and lots of shapes and textures. They were always there to help when someone asked for something and went above and beyond our expectations. I recommend them highly!

If you’ve been to a wedding, you know a lot of wedding food is lack luster and leaves you still hungry. Our tasting blew us away and we didn’t think they would perform to that level on a larger scale, like a lot of wedding caterers. Deco was the complete opposite; We received compliments for weeks about how amazing the food was. Not only was the food as good if not better than our tasting but everyone on the Deco team was extremely helpful, amazingly polite and ready for any curveball we threw them. The only thing we regretted was not eating more!!

We had a brunch style wedding in August 2019, and kept it simple and we had a budget, and DECO nailed it. We really didnt get to eat much on the day, but what we did eat was fantastic. The display was perfect! After our wedding our guests raved about the quiche and crepes that we had. So made was even more pleased with deco that our choice of food was excellent!! When we had to finalize our meal, they even suggest to switch one thing to help save us some money with the number of guest we had. Which was wonderful! Very pleased and if need to cater again, we would use deco. Very reasonable in prices too!!

AMAZING!!!! Seriously amazing. They were willing to work with our budget and wishes to have a different wedding menu. We did burgers and pretzels! They are super responsive and do a great job. Especially Heather Asbury. She is amazing and literally gets back to you within an hour every time. Ask to work with her. We loved working with Deco! Not only is their food amazing - the service is second to none! Kasey was our go-to as we approached our wedding date and she was always very responsive to our questions. It was hard to choose which dishes to serve because everything was so good. Deco welcomed us to do more than one tasting so we could narrow down our menu. We landed on chicken breast, beef tenderloin, vegetarian pasta and the apple and cheddar salad. We received so many compliments from guests about the food and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! Our only complaint is that our late night snack (pizza from Green Mill) was served too early in the night (and not according to our timeline). By the time people were ready to eat it, the pizza was cold. Other than that - the food and service was perfect!

We needed a catering team that could really impress and execute our vision. Heikki and Soleil (and team) totally succeeded. We used The Deco for our wedding catering. We did butler-passed appetizers and had an appetizer buffet for dinner. All of the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The variety was great, and the Deco was able to accommodate the different dietary needs of our guests (vegan, dairy-free, etc. options.). The Deco was easy to coordinate with and work with. They made the perfect amount of food--everyone got enough to eat and there were hardly any leftovers. The day-of staff were great to work with. They also made our cake. We went with a carrot cake, which looked beautiful and tasted great.

FABULOUS! FANTASTIC! FAVORITE! After attending three beautiful, delicious dinners catered by Deco Catering for 250+ guests we hired Deco to cater a Benefit Dinner for Kenya Children’s Fund for 100 guests. Working with Heikki Rouvinen, Partner, was easy and enjoyable. He listened well and responded promptly to our questions and requests. One person with many years of catering experience as an owner and as a guest said, “This was the best catered dinner she had ever seen and eaten.” Indeed it was! The presentation of a lovely mixed-berry salad followed by a unique presentation of the entrée and dessert brought smiles of delight. All three entrees received highest compliments from the guests. Service was professional on every level… tastefully uniformed wait staff served quickly and graciously and responded to accommodate all requests. On-site preparation and plating was shielded from view and was quiet. The on-site banquet manager handled questions and special needs promptly and effectively. The entire food service flowed and presented an exquisite prelude and background for the work of the Benefit Dinner. The biggest surprise was the immaculate condition in which the Deco crew left the kitchen in every corner—including washing the floor!
