We hired Trisha from Liven It Up Events as our Wedding Day-Of Coordinator. I can honestly say that she was and is sooo much more than that to us. From the moment we hired this incredible team we were immediately cared for. Trisha gave so much of herself, giving us suggestions or ideas for ways to make our wedding day even more special. We had our own ideas, but we listened to her experience and advice and took it to heart which made everything all the better. Trisha cared for us when we had rough moments, knowing that there are inevitable stress melt-downs. She coordinated all the vendors, she made us laugh, she gave us hugs and all the love and support we could've ever hoped for. On our wedding day, Anthony came by the bridal suite to wish us congrats and to check in. He is such a love! Honestly, this team gave us a truly perfect and magical day. My wedding dress (as I'm sure Trisha can attest to) was a beacon of chaos. She didn't flinch for a second. She knew exactly how to fix things, she set up the room and organized the vendors perfectly. She is absolutely brilliant and we love her and the team completely. We look forward to continuing to build our friendship and recommend this whole crew to anyone needing any kind of event coordination. You cannot possibly go wrong with this team of amazing, caring, wonderful and detailed individuals. Don't wait, book them now!

Tayler has been a dream to work with! She was our wedding coordinator and we can't thank her enough for helping out vision come to life. From the initial meeting until all the equipment was picked up and returned, she was there for us to help with details and provide comfort and reassurance. She is professional, prepared, organized, kept things running, extremely knowledgeable, pays attention to the smallest details and honestly the best thing about her is on our wedding day anytime myself or my husband needed something she was always there and it was perfect. Not only are her professional skills amazing Lisa is also ver down to earth, and sweet. There aren't words to express how thrilled we are with Anthony Navarro and his team at Liven It Up Events. Our corporate anniversary reception was more than a success. Our executives, colleagues and clients all had such an incredible time. The compliments still keep rolling in. After reading all of the great reviews on Yelp and doing some internet research, I decided to contact them about our corporate event in Chicago. As we are located in Montreal, having someone local was key to our comfort organizing this from so far away. Within seconds of speaking with Anthony, I knew that he has the experience and contacts that we needed to make our party great. But, it wasn't just great, it was unforgettable - the bar has officially been raised. Anthony was personable, professional, calming, as well as tireless throughout the planning process and reception. He thought of details that I couldn't have thought up and had excellent contacts for the entertainment, cake, décor, photography, and at the perfect venue where we had our party, River Roast. During the event, some of us remarked how everywhere we looked, he was there. For any possible issue that could arise, such as the rain that poured down, he had a plan b, c, and d. This is an event planner with super powers who will no doubt add magic to anything he is involved in.

I can't say enough about how great of an experience it was working with Liven It Up Events. I work for a venue and catering, and my client hired Liven It Up Events relatively late in the planning process with still much to do. Lindsay was on top of everything right away and was so communicative, making the planning process go seamless. The wedding ended up going off without a hitch and it was a great day. I worked with Kim to plan my wedding. I cannot say enough about what a help she was. In the early stages of planning, Kim helped me narrow my approved vendor list to select those which were right for our event, surely saving us time and money. Closer to our wedding date, Kim and I had a sit down to discuss all of the details I would have never thought of until I regretted not addressing it. From a dress reveal to the logistics of pinning the boutonnieres on the groomsmen, Kim had a solution for everything. Thank you for letting me borrow your handkerchief, I needed it more than I knew! My favorite advice she gave was what to do about a bouquet toss. We did not invite children to our wedding and most of my friends are already married. Kim suggested just passing the bouquet to my newly engaged maid of honor. This was such a special moment affirming our lifelong friendship. Quite comically, our reverend for hire lingered well past his welcome, drinking and eating to his heart's content during cocktail hour. Kim put her foot down to communicate he was not invited to the reception. (This had been previously discussed with him, he was just being very stubborn) I'd certainly recommend Liven It Up Events to any friends or strangers!

I’m so happy I made the best choice for the big day in my life. Anthony did a great job planning everything for my wedding. We started the process one year ago, it wasn’t easy. Still during the COVID, and with me oversea in Japan while my husband in the states. But Anthony helped us bring things together and always being positive, encouraging and reliable. All these effort paid off really well. The venue was beautiful, flowers were stunning, food were so delicious, and the flow of the whole day was very smooth. Trisha from Liven It Up Events was just what the doctor ordered for my wedding day. I am a pretty typical type A bride, so I was pretty good at the whole wedding planning thing, making lists, checking reviews, setting up vendor meetings and booking them, but I knew in order to enjoy my day to the fullest I was going to need a day of coordinator. There is no way I would be able to relax on my wedding day if I had to check on every vendor and make sure they were there and doing what they were supposed to be doing and also getting the ceremony and reception spaces set up. No way and no thank you. I had a good feeling about Trisha from our initial phone interview. She has this presence in her voice that says, “I’ve got this, don’t worry”. She is a great mix of being both professional and friendly. Your day of coordination actually starts about 4 months out where you have your initial meeting to gather information about your big day and get her started on making your timeline. The next meeting comes a few weeks before the wedding to do a walkthrough at your venue and finalize things. Trisha was so knowledgeable at the walkthrough and it was very comforting to hear everything coming together. Trisha also attended our rehearsal and she helped to get everyone prepared for what was going to happen the next day. That was so helpful because we weren’t getting married in a church or using a professional officiant so without her we would’ve been lost. Day of she was great and had an assistant with her, Lora, who was also very helpful. Trisha was often running back and forth between me and my groom and checking in with vendors to make sure everything was happening that should’ve been. As far as I know there were no problems on my wedding day, and that is exactly why I hired a DOC. Even if there were issues I never knew about them and I was able to relax, as much as a bride can. Thank you again Lora and Trisha!

When my now wife and I were about 6 months out from our wedding day, she begged me for us to hire a wedding coordinator. I had opposed, on the grounds that we didn't have unlimited money. As a preview of the rest of my life, she won. We ended up hiring Tayler Re from Liven it up Events and not only was she worth every penny, she was easily worth double that. Weddings as a stressful time for brides, not so much for more grooms. Once we had Tayler within the fold I could see the stress coming off my wife's shoulders as Taylor helped out with day of logistical planning. She wrote us out an extremely detailed itinerary, help put together our lists of who's pictures we wanted and what locations we wanted them at, and communicated with the huge number of vendors we had to make sure everything arrived at our venue and was set up perfectly. With not even a flower out of place. Not to mention all of the things she did day of, like navigate an allergy scare, keep chocolates on hand for extra energy, and making she the semi-insane mother of the groom was distracted long enough not to delay her well planned out time line. Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, and besides my wife, Tayler is the second most responsible person for that fact. If I was to do it again I'd hire her before I even propose! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
