We couldn’t have been more happy with Maddie and her team on our wedding day! She helped us experience the wedding day we both wanted with every single detail covered. Over our 6 month engagement, Maddie’s experience and expertise shown through in our planning calls and meetings that kept us focused and on track, and her guidance as we imagined the venue and selected caterers was invaluable. The day of our wedding was exactly as we hoped it’d be.... an amazing day to share with our closest friends and family without the stress of the details. Maddie and her team were true professionals at coordinating all the moving parts so we could enjoy the day. She helped us transform a private home into a stunning wedding venue on a very practical budget, facilitated the transition from ceremony to reception with ease, and had all loose ends tied up by the end of the evening. Where do I even begin? Ask for the Moon is amazing!!! I have worked many weddings, events, and styled shoots with Maddie. As a photographer, I truly appreciate her attention to detail & how well she works with all of the vendors at a wedding. Hiring Maddie and her team was the best decision we made during our entire wedding process (except for marrying each other). Without her we would not have known where to start. She made the process easy to understand, her timelines were incredibly detailed, and she was always available. As the date got closer she was always only a phone call or text away. We worked with a few vendors who had not had the pleasure of previously working with Maddie, and they spoke volumes about how organized and generally amazing she is. A number of vendors also commented on how much they enjoyed working with her. Whenever we were unsure about a decision she was incredibly helpful and she gave great recommendations. The only thing I was stressed about on the wedding day was reading my vows because I knew Maddie had everything under control. Hiring Maddie will make the best day of your life that much better. Maddie was the best money spent in our wedding planning process! We hired her for day-of coordination, which also includes an upfront planning meeting and some vendor contact leading up to the big day. Her enthusiasm and professionalism was exceptional in our pre-meetings and during our wedding weekend. She was very quick to respond to messages and helped us organize all our information and props for the day. She made us feel so confident and calm as the wedding date approached because she reached out to all our vendors to confirm date, location, and other details with them a month in advance and then again a week in advance. She also helped chase down our cake vendor who was delinquent on sending our contract and communicating with us - so nice to have that back up! Then, the day-of the event, my makeup artist was late so Maddie tracked her down and made sure we got back on schedule. Maddie and her assistants set up the reception area at the country club, and it was far beyond what we ever imagined we could do with the space!! It was seriously gorgeous and worked so well for our planned agenda and guest track flow during the event. She created our vision with such specific detail that we were utterly impressed! Then, the whole afternoon/evening she organized all the big moments of the reception, kept everyone in place, answered questions, made sure we were constantly happy, and solved every single little thing that popped up without even bothering us so we could have fun! She was such a god-send, and our parents were also just so impressed. The day would not have been nearly as fun or as beautifully decorated without her expert skills, and we are so grateful for her! HIGHLY recommend!!!!

Maddie and her team at Ask For The Moon (AFTM) events went above and beyond what we were expecting for our wedding day. We hired AFTM for day of wedding coordination after friend recommended working with AFTM. My friend noted how thoughtful, organized and detail oriented Maddie and her team were for her wedding. Based on my friend’s recommendation, I was expecting a lot, but Maddie and her team exceeded those expectations. She was so helpful in making sure all my questions were answered leading up to the day and it was so helpful to have her as a resource for etiquette and logistics questions with my mom, mother-in-law and maid of honor all being out of state. Maddie was not only helpful when it came to planning and executing the logistics of our day, she was also just a joy to be around. She kept everyone excited but calm as the stress and jitters kicked in for the big day. Any detail we forgot (like bringing champagne to pop for pictures), Maddie had handled. She made me feel confident that everything would get done and I could just relax and enjoy the day. Every minor glitch or hiccup that happened along the way was immediately taken care of by Maddie and her team. I actually wasn’t even aware of any snafu along the way because Maddie was so on top of it! We were very lucky to have them in our corner. We can’t praise this team enough and will always remember how much they helped make our day as wonderful as it was! Thanks again AFTM!

Simply the best! Wow! The first word that comes to mind when I think of Maddie and Ask for the Moon Events! We hired Maddie as our month of coordinator to save our sanity during the wedding process and she is by far the best vendor we could have ever wished for! Maddie was so quick to respond to all my inquiries and was always just a text away for some support with handling our other vendors. She kept me in the loop with her communications to vendors during the weeks prior to our wedding and made magic happen on our wedding day. My husband and I were both able to enjoy each second of the day without having to worry about keeping the timeline or setting anything up and she made our vision come to life, she even packed everything up at the end of the night so we could just drive off! Maddie was definitely the topic of our conversations in the days following our wedding, because everyone was so amazed at what she had done! Maddie helped create our memories that will last our lifetimes and for that we will always be so thankful!

Hiring Ask for the Moon Events was the best decision we made for our wedding. We decided to go with the partial planning package. We had all of the planning meetings we needed and she coordinated all of our RSVPs (CANNOT understate how huge this was especially with a high guest count wedding) and the 15 hours was a perfect amount of time. I had a general idea of what I wanted for my wedding but it was really just piecemeal ideas pulled from Pinterest. Maddie was able to help perfectly pull it together into one vision. She was always there to offer guidance and drive the overall concept enabling us to make quick and easy decisions. Of note, Maddie has a fantastic network of vendors which made life so much easier. We ended up with about 13 different vendors (outside of the venue) and not having to do our own research for each vendor saved an enormous amount of time. All of Maddie’s vendor recommendations did a fantastic job. In terms of the day of, it couldn’t have been better. It started the night before with the most well-done rehearsal I’ve ever been to. Maddie came in and really took control which allowed us to rehearse in about 20 minutes. She was there on the day of at exactly the time she said she would be and coordinated all of the vendors and ceremony setup/reception room flip. The ceremony and reception room were setup exactly as I had been envisioning. It was truly perfect. She made sure everything happened when it was supposed to and if something went wrong…I never knew about. The planning process and day of would not have been as smooth without Maddie and her team. Our wedding was perfect and a large part of it was due to how Maddie ran the show. We could not be more grateful to Ask for the Moon Events. Hire her if you want the perfect wedding!

Maddie, Tara and Megan were absolute dreams to work with! From day one, Maddie was 110% on the ball; emails were answered within minutes of sending, communication never lacked and kept me in the loop through it all. I never once doubted that anything would go wrong before, during or after my ceremony... and I was right. Also, I cannot rave more about Tara and Megan! They were so delightful and diligent about making sure every little piece of the ceremony went perfectly. They were highly attentive, sweet, yet able to corral our whole wedding party (17 of us) to where we needed to be. They made sure that the speeches were in order and everyone was ready to go. They guided us as to what will happen next and where we needed to be. They made sure that the rest of our vendors were paid and taken care of, all of the presents and cards made it to our room safely, ensured that the flower deliveries were on point and set up our whole reception and made it perfect, just how I imagined it. And so so much more!! All these small details are what you don't want to have to deal with on your day and they made absolute sure that they had everything taken care of and that we were simply enjoying our night. I would highly recommend these amazing ladies to anyone looking for anything wedding! They truly made our day so special and I cannot thank them enough!
