I can’t say enough good things about Melissa. When I met her for our engagement shoot I knew instantly she was a good match. She was so up beat, friendly, approachable and knew exactly what she was doing. We felt so confident for our wedding day. When the big day came her and her husband Jake made sure that everything we wanted was captured. She really listened to anything you suggested and she made us feel at ease and comfortable. When we got our photos back me and my husband cried happy tears because they were SO beautiful and very much reflected us as a couple. She’s also super funny, which is just the icing on the cake :)

We recently had family photographs done by Melissa and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We had three generations of family present and Melissa was fantastic with all of them. She was kind and patient with my father-in-law, who has some physical limitations, and she was able to get my fussy 18 month old to smile. Melissa did both composed photographs of the whole family as well as candids (with enough gentle direction so you don’t feel lost about what to do) in different parts of the beach near our house. We will have wonderful keepsakes from a very special time together. I would absolutely book Melissa again the the future and highly recommend her to everyone!!

I am SO grateful that we were able to have Melissa capture our wedding and engagement pictures! Last summer, after looking at her website and her incredible work, I immediately booked her for our wedding this summer and I could not be happier. Since we live in Boston and were planning mostly from away, Melissa went out of her way to FaceTime us when we couldn't meet in person for an initial chat. Then, she accommodated our schedule and shot our engagement pictures when we were on the island for Thanksgiving. After our engagement session, I was even more excited to have Melissa shooting our wedding. She immediately put us at ease and we had a blast despite chilly temperatures and some brutal wind. Our engagement pictures turned out better than our wildest expectations, capturing me and my husband perfectly. For our wedding, Melissa's husband, Jake was the second shooter and together they made an incredible team. Melissa joined me and my bridesmaids as we got ready and Jake went with the guys. My husband shared that Jake went above and beyond his duties as photographer, helping the guys attach their boutonnieres and re-lacing my husband's shoes. Melissa did an amazing job getting all of the shots we had asked for ahead of time while also capturing tons of candids. We will cherish these photos forever! I cannot recommend Melissa enough. If you need pictures taken for anything, book her!

She makes you feel comfortable instantly and you forget any awkwardness infront of the camera. She just makes the entire experience so fun and super special. We originally planned a small wedding but due to the pandemic we decided to elope in PEI this past August 2020 instead. There were some challenges/changes thrown our way with planning from NB but Melissa was so supportive and helpful in so many ways (more than she even knows:)). We LOVE our photos and feel so thankful we have beautiful photos for a lifetime! I highly recommend booking Melissa to anyone!
