Planning a wedding in Whistler from Los Angeles was a daunting task. From the moment that I met Carlee on the phone, I was instantly put at ease, and knew our wedding would be beautiful. Hiring Carlee as our Day of Wedding Coordinator was probably the best decision I made during the whole planning process! She knows the Whistler/Pemberton area like the back of her hand and was extremely quick to respond to any email/text that we sent. As this was a semi-destination wedding, we opted for the "Day of Plus" services, and were extremely happy. Carlee took care of every little detail from helping me decide how to fold the napkins, coordinating with other vendors on arrival/pick up times, and many other planning details. The vendors that she recommended are very talented, professional, and truly delightful people. Even though Carlee and her team create dozens of weddings a year, they do a fantastic job in making you feel that your wedding is a priority. If you want your wedding day to go smoothly, not be stressful and look beautiful - please hire Carlee - you wont regret it!!

The thought of planning a destination wedding from half-way across the globe was a daunting project… until we met Carlee! From our initial skype meeting with her, until the very last minute of our wedding weekend… she was an absolute JOY to work with. Carlee was our full-service wedding planner, and we brought her onboard 10 months prior to the big day. She made our long-distance relationship extremely manageable by catering to our timezone, and hand-holding us throughout each planning stage. Given that the majority of our guests were coming from Japan with very high expectations around service, she didn’t have an easy task… but the end result was a magical, MAGICAL wedding weekend! All of our guests complimented on how stunning and enjoyable our wedding was, and how lovely Carlee was in making it happen! Carlee and her team made our wedding say so stress free and magical. She was so easy to work with and made us feel really comfortable and confident that the day will go on without a hitch! She is so amazingly organized and in the meeting before the day asked so many great questions so that she knew everything we were looking for on the day of the wedding. For our wedding we were missing candles for the reception tables and without any prompting she took it upon herself to provide this for us which was so awesome and really tied in the whole atmosphere. We really loved working with Carlee and we were so happy that her and her team could be apart of our day! I would recommend her 1000x over to everyone getting married!

Carlee was awesome – she was consistently calm, kind, reassuring, and efficient. We didn’t meet prior to choosing her to support us with day-of coordination, but a couple phone calls had me so confident that she’d be able to execute our vision! It was so reassuring to have Carlee run through the rental contracts and the way the day would play out in advance. She had a couple quick tips on items to add to our rental reservation that I totally didn’t even consider! She kindly and unexpectedly even met us at the venue the day before to go over the space and upcoming day. Come wedding day, Carlee and her team were fabulous. Carlee was calm, diligent, and tried to keep me out of it! I didn’t hear of any issues throughout the day and everything ran exactly as I’d envisioned. She creatively decorated with lights, candles, and flowers, with little guidance. She repurposed florals and thought of little things – like illuminating some of the big rocks with fairy lights, which turned out to be beautiful and ultimately removed a big liability! I’m sure she problem solved hiccups along the day, and to us and all our guests, the whole wedding day ran perfectly. I was shocked to see how stunning both the ceremony and reception area looked as I walked down the aisle; the forest had been completely transformed into a magical celebration space! I certainly didn’t have a ‘fairytale’ vision, but with Carlee’s help, our wedding day certainly felt like it.

I’m so glad we chose Carlee to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding! We had a destination wedding at Nita Lake Lodge, so it was really helpful to have someone knowledgeable of the area and who had experience working with our venue to give us recommendations and advice throughout the planning process. When it came to the day of, Carlee really went above and beyond our expectations to make everything go smoothly. I DIY-ed most of the flowers and decorations, and Carlee setup everything perfectly! Even when UPS had lost the garlands I had ordered, Carlee managed to put together decorations for us with our leftover flowers, and everything turned out beautifully. Carlee’s quick thinking and flexibility saved the day again when I realized I had forgotten to bring my bouquet to the venue! She made a bouquet for me out of one of our centerpieces, and we were able to continue on with the ceremony. Midway through the ceremony a snow plow started driving by right behind the altar! I didn’t actually see this myself, but heard later how Carlee had immediately chased after the guy to make sure he didn’t come back around and stayed out of our pictures. Despite the unforeseen hiccups we had, thanks to Carlee’s hard work behind the scenes we didn’t have to stress about anything, and the day turned out exactly how we had imagined it to be and more. I really don’t know what we would have done without her. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely choose Carlee as our wedding coordinator.

Carlee was our wedding day-of coordinator for our Whistler wedding, two and a half weeks ago. She brought her A-Team with her to set-up, and she didn't miss a beat through the entire day. No detail too small, she followed our vision perfectly, and everything ran so smoothly. This review of Pocketful Productions is long overdue! We hired Carlee for our February 2020 Whistler destination wedding. When we were interviewing planners in July 2018, we were torn between her and another one and Carlee was a very close second choice. We always regretted our decision and after a disaster experience with the planner we chose - she quit on us 3 months before our big day - we reached out to Carlee to see if she was still available. We were very happy and excited that she was still available to help us and she jumped in to help us with the mess of disorganization from our previous planner. She not only eased our minds, but helped us renegotiate contracts with vendors that our previous planner set up after discovering we were being overcharged. Working with Carlee was such a breath of fresh air - she was always so responsive, positive, detail oriented, and organized. My one "must have" was a giant disco ball for our reception and when our previous planner would not share the details of the vendor she sourced for our disco ball, Carlee found a new one that was even bigger and then figured out how to hang it in our venue (no small task that's for sure). She is truly amazing - from every interaction with her, we could really tell that she was just as excited about our big day as we were - she loves what she does and genuinely cares about her couples! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and magical, my husband and I enjoyed every minute of our day without a single hiccup or flower out of place. I know that this was all due to Carlee's efforts behind the scenes and we are so grateful that she agreed to work with us. Highly recommend Pocketful Productions - hire her so you won't regret it!

Carlee is amazing. If you don't feel like reading the whole review, just know that our wedding would have been cancelled without her. She was worth every dollar and then some! Our wedding story was like many others for 2020 where we had to plan, re-plan, and then plan some more due to the changing environment of safety and restrictions. Carlee helped us through everything with a calmness only a true professional could bring to the table. She's kind, attentive, thorough, and realistic. When our original wedding venue canceled four weeks out, she put us in touch with Brew Creek and within 48 hours we were back on track. Without her connections and quick thinking, we would have been forced to cancel. Instead, we had a beautiful wedding with 35 people that felt safe, intimate, and really special. She was incredible with organizing all aspects of the event. We decided on the Day of Plus package and I'm so glad we did. The weeks leading up to the event are filled with a lot of emotions and because of her, apprehension about the event running smoothly was not one of them. She took so much stress away from us during the day as well. Knowing she was there brought a lot of peace and allowed us to focus on what mattered. The decor was beautifully executed, logistics felt seamless and she was tactful with managing the group. If you''re thinking about a big wedding in the future or a Covid style smaller wedding....work with Carlee and her team

Inspite of us living overseas during the planning process, it made no difference to Carlee as she still efficiently planned every detail of our wedding. Carlee was very organized down to the minute…literally. I didn’t realize how much planning was involved behind the scenes but it made me appreciate and enjoy the day that much more. She had Plan B and C as a back up just in case we needed it. She was professional yet energetic and just as excited as we were for our special day. Carlee exceeded all expectations. I like to consider myself expert level organized and a total planner, but I would have been lost without Carlee's calm demeanor, knowledge of the sea to sky landscape and vendors, and passion for what she does. We always felt as if we were her only clients because of the time and detail of her replies. We went with the 'Day of Plus' package so she was with us via email and a site visit for the year leading up, then took over all of our final confirmations and planning a month out. This service was truly priceless. The day of our wedding the weather was a bit crazy and she kept me calm and talked with the venue to hold off setting up our rain plan until the last possible moment. Everything worked out beautifully - all thanks to Carlee. Her and her team even made a trip to McDonalds to pick up orders for 150 people at the end of the night! Carlee was the wedding coordinator we never knew we needed. I was required by my wedding venue to bring on a planner and so reluctantly I began a search for a day-of coordinator. However, from the get go, I got the impression that Carlee was the missing piece for our wedding. She was hyper-organized and eager to help me as much or as little as needed. A number of times throughout the wedding process I was feeling incredibly lost and overwhelmed with planning, however this was always resolved by a phone call to Carlee. She made herself available for a number of these phone conversations and was always quick to respond to a question via email. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, I saw Carlee’s car pull in, and I instantly felt relaxed. Besides checking in with me in the morning, saw her only a few times for the rest of the day, however I had complete faith that she was doing everything as we had discussed. Periodically I would see her as she would come and check in, make sure we were on schedule, or touch base about how things were going. However her organization and orchestration of the day made it so that I did not have to think about any logistics, even once. Some guests who came to the wedding were shocked when I told them I had a wedding coordinator, and I truly believe that is because Carlee was so immersed, and made everything so effortless and seamless, that her help was almost unnoticed. Throughout the blur of the day, I would occasionally notice that something would have changed, wedding decorations in previous spaces had been repurposed, a table would shift, or a certain feature would have been adapted in order to suit the new portion of the evening. These adjustments were always perfect and timely, and yet once again I never actually saw Carlee do them! It was like she was reading my mind, but with things I hadn’t even thought of! At some point towards the end of the night Carlee came in and checked in with me to say that she had coordinated the end of the evening with the staff, had organized it so that I would not need to worry about tear down, and furthermore had ensured that we would have some decorations remaining/organized for the following day's brunch. During this conversation with her, I realized with simultaneous horror and relief that in all of my planning at no point did I think about tear-down or packing up after the event, but Carlee once again had solved a problem that I didn’t even know needed solving. The next day we were able to just remove the final pieces that had been left behind for the brunch, load the boxes into our cars, and drive away. It was all so seamless and stress-free. I would recommend Carlee to absolutely anyone, organized or less-so (like me). At no point in planning or on the day of did I feel like I was without support. I owe so much of my sanity and a lot of the weddings success to her thoughtful and incredibly proactive attention to detail. If you need a day-of-coordinator or planner she is your woman! Even though my guests hardly noticed, I noticed her by the fact that I went through the whole day completely blissful, just enjoying the efforts of months of planning culminating in what was the best day of my life

Right from the initial call we had with her, we knew she was going to be easy to work with and make sure all of the fine details would get taken care of. We did a partial planning and day of coordination package with Carlee. She spent as much time as we needed looking through inspiration photos and put together a document for me which perfectly showcased my vision for the wedding. She knows the Whistler/Pemberton area very well and was able to connect us with quality vendors to make our vision come true. Carlee was always responsive and understanding and given her extensive partnering with vendors in the area as well as experience planning weddings, I always felt very confident everything would get taken care of. We had rain the morning of our wedding and Carlee helped make sure everything stayed on track and under control, even with the weather creating a challenge. Carlee is genuinely creative and comes with a lot of ideas. She was able to repurpose a lot of the furniture rentals and floral for different parts of the wedding to maximize all the décor. I cannot recommend Carlee enough, the best decision we ever made was to get her onboard to plan our wedding! Thank you Carlee for being such a big part of making our wedding day the best day ever!

I didn´t know how much I needed Carlee until she took care of everything on our wedding day. We were a little hesitant to hire a "Day of Coordinator" because both my husband and I planned every little detail of our wedding in advance. We prepared so much and we thought it was something we could handle on our own. But boy, were we wrong! From our first meeting with Carlee she made us feel really good about how our planning was going and suggested some ideas, she also pointed out some details and made us think twice about some things that we ended up changing in our plan. We worked with her in the months leading to our wedding and she was always professional, friendly and caring. On our wedding day, she made us both feel at ease and took control of the situation as soon as she arrived. From pictures and detailed conversations she was able to capture our vision and decorated the venue exactly like we wanted it without us even being there to tell her. It was so much better than we pictured it. Even with over a year of planning, that day goes by so fast and there´s so much to do!! Carlee was on top of everything which allowed me and my husband to sit back, relax and really ENJOY our wedding. I don´t think the night would´ve been the same without her, so we´re both eternally grateful for such great experience. We simply let go and had the best night of our lives, knowing that Carlee had everything under control until the very end. Our wedding was 100% stress-free thanks to her. Thanks a million Carlee!!

We went into the planning of our wedding thinking that we would not hire a day of coordinator. Around 6 weeks out from our wedding day when we began to realize all the pieces that would need to fall into place to ensure that our big day ran smoothly. After our first phone call with Carlee we knew that we had made a great decision. Carlee asked great questions and gained a strong understanding of what was important to us. She understood what we wanted our venue to look like and also the experience that we wanted for our guests. After phone calls, emails and meetings, Carlee met with us one last time before the wedding. We visited the venue together and with all of our decisions finalized, she went through every detail to ensure that we were comfortable and in case we had any last minute questions. Thanks to Carlee, we did not just have a great wedding day but also the days leading up to the wedding. We were able to enjoy the time with our family and friends who had come from all over the world to celebrate with us. We cannot express how happy we are that Carlee was part of our wedding.

We cannot say enough good things about Carlee & how amazing it was to work with her to make our wedding dreams at Nita Lake Lodge come true. As someone who has a hard time letting others help for fear of anything less than perfect I was nervous to have a planner, but I cannot stress how much faith & trust I had in Carlee after our meetings together. Each time I mentioned to another one of our vendors that Carlee was our coordinator they praised us for making such a great choice! My husband & I have since talked to several of our friends who are planning their weddings & each time he says that hiring Carlee was the best decision we made. The days leading up to the wedding she sent out emails to each vendor double & triple checking they will be there at the correct time & always clued us in if there was any clarification needed. It was important to us to have a relaxed & enjoyable time at our wedding, as I’m sure most people hope for. Though I’ve yet to see that happen for others, as the day of is usually spent with family & the bride & groom running around setting up & making sure all is where it should be. The morning of our wedding I got a visit from Carlee, where she gleefully checked in & collected our vendor thank yous to pass out later for us. Then she was back downstairs creating the most beautiful ceremony/reception space we ever could have imagined. We had a walkthrough the day before where she took notes about what we envisioned & if something was different the day of, it was only because she had thought of a better & more efficient way to do it. If we ever decide to renew our vows we will be calling you again Carlee, maybe then we can do a warm destination trip to Hawaii! Day-of Package was Perfect for Destination Whistler Wedding My husband and I were very pleased with our decision to use Carlee at Pocketful for our wedding planner. We chose the day-of plus package which was perfect for us. The pre-planning meetings were essential to letting us hand off the details we had worked out, as we made decisions, and allow us to relax along the way. On the day of, we only saw Carlee and her staff a couple times the whole evening but loved noticing all the details we discussed ahead of the day being realized. The ceremony room flowers, the table décor, and everyone with our guest gifts just to name a few - we were so happy to see everything come together in the moment. The whole evening was seamless - and on schedule which definitely satisfied my planner personality ;-) Carlee was great in working through any oddness / difficulties we encountered. There were more than a few times we were relieved to have her on our side resolving those potential hiccups ahead of the day, so that our destination wedding day could be so perfect. At the end of the day, we really felt like we had the dream team of professional vendors with Carlee and Pocketful leading the charge. "One of the best decisions we've ever made was to hire Carlee as our "Day-Of Coordinator" for our wedding in Pemberton. We immediately liked her, and knew from the first moment that we met her, that she was someone who would ensure an absolutely perfect event. She spoke with us several times prior to the wedding, and was always quick to ease any of our concerns, and was always offering to take tasks upon herself to lighten our checklist. She was also very thorough in every step taken, and brought up several key event factors that we would have missed if not for her! As many brides do, I often have a hard time relinquishing control, but in this instance, I had every faith in Carlee, as she continued to impress us at every turn. She did not only an incredible job of the set-up, but was an absolute master at handling and guiding people in their tasks. I'm still amazed at how she was able to guide the flow of the evening, and was constantly aware of the wedding timeline. She even snuck in to sweep off the dance floor before our first dance, as it had gotten quite covered in grass and dirt. I can't even count the number of people who came up to me that weekend and said, "Your wedding coordinator is amazing!" I couldn't agree more with them. Charming, enthusiastic, vibrant, wonderful...
