Were do I begin? Not only was the food fantastic.. but Jason was so personable and so helpful during the stress of planning the wedding. I had to worry about so much but after meeting Jason food was one thing I did not worry about at all! If I ever need food catered I am 100% without a doubt going with Jason. We have over 200 ppl at our wedding and he made enough for leftover. I highly highly!!! Recommend him!!!

My, now, wife and I used the services of Young’s Catering on September 30th, 2017 for our wedding at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area. From the moment we met Jason, we were immediately impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. Jason is extremely passionate about what he does and it certainly shows throughout the quality of work and the service we received. He always took the time to listen to each and every question we had throughout the process of planning our wedding. Jason was always available to take my calls and promptly responded to my emails. We felt as though we were in good hands throughout the entire planning process. Jason is located quite a distance from our home but he always made it a point to come to us. This happened on multiple occasions. He gave us a sampling of his cooking skills at our home before we had signed the agreement. He was respectful and professional while he used our kitchen. It was a real treat to be served by a master chef in our own home. Our big day went off without a single hitch. Our guests raved about the food, service and professionalism from Jason and his staff. We requested to Jason a pierogi bar for our late night buffet. Jason ensured that he could accommodate this request and went above and beyond. Our guests enjoyed some of the best pierogis we’ve ever had. I cannot recommend Jason and his team enough. There is no question in my mind that when we chose Young’s Catering for our wedding that we made the right decision. Jason, please do not hesitate to use our name for any future referrals.

We used Young's catering for our daughters outdoor wedding for 160 people this past summer.Jason and his team not only provided an absolutely delicious meal and first rate bar service, they arranged everything we needed from linens, lighting, tables and chairs, a dance floor and even got us a discount on tent rental! Jason was very flexible and easy to work with. Young's catering went over and above our expectations and we felt it was an excellent value for our only daughters special day! Several weddings guests commented that it was the best wedding they had ever attended!

Very disappointed with this catering service. After my mother made initial contact to plan for her mother's surprise 80th birthday, it took weeks just to hear back from anybody. Then after a very early payment, months before the actual event, we still have not received an invoice to this day! Several attempts at contacting this company were ignored, and come the day of the event, we weren't 100% sure that anybody would even show up. Well somebody did, and we were unbelievably disappointed. The Assorted Tray of Wraps that was supposed to feed 40 people had almost 40 wraps - sure - with some cut about 3 inches big - we ended up having to go out and buy pizzas last minute just to make sure we had enough food for everyone. The veggie tray had a tiny dip that ran out in the first half hour. On the website, the Large Assorted Dessert Tray is supposed to feed 50 people and include butter tarts, chocolate chip cookies, and carrot cake - our dessert tray looked like someone had bought a box of dessert squares at M&M's Meat Shop - and even then it was a ridiculously small amount. The food was supposed to come in disposable containers but instead came in bowls and on racks, which are still in my basement! The person who dropped everything off did so in a big hurry and made no arrangements to come back and pick up their things. I don't know where all our money went but it wasn't towards our event or the food we received. I'm disgusted with the way we were treated and I will be sure to let everyone know about our experience. *This next paragraph was their response to this review on their facebook page and it was THE most timely response I've ever gotten from them, but it makes sense since they don't address half of my concerns and the explanations they do give are just lazy... oh you changed your menu in the middle of our order but didn't think to inform us in the "numerous emails" we supposedly exchanged? These people are unbelievable. From Young's Catering: "Hi Jessica I am sorry that you experienced that. We followed the order that was given to us. Maybe we should be a little more clear next time with the amounts given as to not confuse anyone. As for the desserts we had recently changed to assorted squares so I apologize that was not updated on our website. We have had numerous emails and contacts together all the way up to your event and I apologize that it was not more clear to you. My team had their delivery instructions and time and were just following the instructions I gave them. I apologize for any inconvenience and I hope that we can make it a better experience in the future."

My wife and I were married at Balls Falls on June 8, 2018 and both agree that the one part of the wedding that was the highlight (aside from our actual marriage of course!) was the food, service, and everything else that was provided by Jason & his team at Young's Catering. Although there are some people who have had a different experience with Jason, everything was absolutely perfect for us. Even before the wedding day we were so happy; he provided food for a rehearsal dinner for our friends & family which was incredible-no other caterer offered anything like this for us and the food was so good and more than enough to feed all of the people (and then some!). The night before the wedding we met at the venue to set some things up for the next day and he was so helpful and friendly and was totally at our service for anything we needed. He even made suggestions that we had not thought of that made the wedding run smoother. On the day of the wedding absolutely everything was amazing and beyond our expectations. Every single guest, including some very picky eaters, all agreed that every single thing that was served was incredible. Not only were we told that it was the best wedding food that our guests had eaten, many agreed that it was just the best meal they had eaten period! Throughout the whole day the service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. It is amazing what this team is able to accomplish with an outdoor barbecue and kitchen setup; everything was kept clean and safe and the flavours that they serve are beyond words! My wife and I are looking for an excuse to book Young's Catering again for any function just because everything was so perfect. After searching around and meeting with other caterers I feel confident in saying that you will not find a nicer business owner or better food. We were also impressed that he is one of the more affordable caterers and we will promise that you will absolutely get the best return on your investment with Jason. On top of how amazing everything went with our wedding we are also impressed with how honest Jason is as a business owner. After booking Young's catering for our wedding we did see the feedback online and some of the issues that others have faced and we asked him about it. Although it is not easy for a business owner to be confronted with these kinds of questions he was entirely honest and upfront with us; he did not make excuses but he will be the first to tell you that he has learned from his mistakes and he will explain how he will make sure your day goes perfectly if you give him a chance. For anyone that is looking for a caterer for their wedding or event I will 100% recommend Young's Catering for any event; and for anyone that is on the fence I hope you take my experience into account and give him a chance, I promise that you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Young's Catering for making everything so amazing!

I'm not sure I can even give this caterer a 1. At a recent wedding they ran out of food with 4-5 tables not getting any. How does a caterer miscount sausage,bacon,pancakes and waffles! Close to half of the wedding guests did not get any fruit or quiches either. It was a brunch which was supposed to have the simplest of food. After all the speeches it was announced that there was more meat, or supposed to be. Still not enough for the tables that did not get any and the bacon that was out was raw. This caterer single handedly ruined this couple's wedding. This was not the first wedding I have been to that they did not have enough food. A family member made the mistake of using them last year and also ran out of food.

My husband and I are so thankful for Jason and his team. Planning a wedding is stressful, especially when you have to change course thanks to Covid-19. From the beginning of our wedding planning, Jason has brought us a lot of comfort as he offered fantastic advice and constantly pointed us in the right direction, even before we had hired him as our caterer. Jason is flexible, professional, and personal. He is very experienced, easy to work with, his food is delicious, and we are still receiving compliments from our guests. Overall, we could not be happier with our choice to have him as part of our team!

My husband and I got married October 2019 and used Young's Catering. He was amazing. He helped with any problems we had or questions. He also gave us suggestions and tips for our wedding. All of my guests loved the food. They still talk about it because it was so delicious. His staff were very attentive and polite. I recommend Jason's team to everyone! We had a great experience with Jason and Youngs Catering, who catered our wedding and provided a tent with a dance floor, tables and chairs, and cutlery for 150 guests. Jason was very professional and was very easy to deal with throughout the planning process. This included an excellent tasting cooked in our home for us and our parents. Jason was also very accommodating of our personalizations for the dinner which included cooking a pig for us on a spit roast we provided, which ended up being excellent and a hit with the guests. Throughout the planning process and setup Jason was very understanding of the challenges we were experiencing, and was able to provide recommendations to help us be ready for the event. The tent, table, and linens provided a beautiful setting on our farm. The tent was set up a few days later than expected due to weather issues, however Jason was able to get his supplier to setup the tent with enough time for us to prepare. On the day of the wedding Jason was there very early to start the pig roast, and the meal was ready on time. The meal was very good and enjoyed by the guests, including the vegetarian meal option provided. We also opted for the bar service which was excellent, the wedding party and rest of the guests were very well taken care of throughout the night. Overall we had a very good experience with Youngs Catering and we would recommend them to others for their events! Thanks again Jason and Ashley!

Had our wedding catered by Young's, the food was very good and everything went off without a hitch. Per person cost was quite reasonable. Had many compliments from guests on the quality and quantity of food. The owner Jason is quite easy to do business with and obviously genuinely cares.
