Was here for the Riverfront Jubilee. Was well organized and the entertainment was great. The VIP section was well thought out and there were only minor line ups for anything. I like that there was seating provided and the individual tables was a nice touch. Alcohol was still pricey but if you can have a drink or two before you go you should be ok.

The cultural heart of New Glasgow, this place plays host to lots of upstart bands, festivals, and events. Also provides much needed free parking to downtown. If you live here, you basically have a moral obligation to support it lol.

Glasgow square hosts lots of events. Music, dinners, award ceremonys, etc. The biggest event hosted would be the New Glasgow river front Jubilee. For indoor events they do have a liquor license. Kind and helpful staff. Benches and picnic table by water. Free parking.

Where all the events for New Glasgow are normally held. Would like to see better parking options, but I don't think the room at the location allows that. We went while the Farmers Market was going on as well, which made it a bit of a walk to get where we were going.

Good public venue for small indoor and large outdoor events...utilized by various community groups, churches, entertainment such as festivals, concerts, and public holiday celebrations and fireworks shows on the river. Located between the picturesque East River and the quaint and multi-faceted downtown of New Glasgow. Limited parking throughout downtown for access to the square during large public gatherings.

This is the centre piece of the New Glasgow waterfront. What the Sydney Opera House is to Sydney, Glasgow Square is to New Glasgow (in a 'much' more scaled down sense). With its copper accents, unique circular atrium design and stage that opens to the outside world, it stands to reason that this is the entertainment centre of this beautiful town. Check ahead before you visit to see if there is a festival or event at Glasgow Square when you will be there because that is when it comes alive.

Great kick off to the Christmas season with the tree lighting and events. Impressive donation from Starbucks having the complimentary hot chocolate. Only poor comment is the give away prize. Perhaps next year the winner should be present. Otherwise a great time. Oh, I need to mention how wonderful it was having free books and craft area!! Well done!!
